It is nonsense. It broke me and remade me. I'm a better man for having witnessed this movie. Go see it in a theater with a crowd.
positive · AI labelView post →I’m glad the Naked Gun movie is good because I can see you’ve all been suffering from a deficit of silly shit
positive · AI labelView post →I'm in my small hometown today and my parents and I went to see The Naked Gun in our little movie theatre, and while I was waiting in line for popcorn a nice man behind me asked, "Are you Pierre Poilievre's Assistant?" and let me tell you I have never felt so famous in my LIFE
neutral · AI labelView post →In non-apocalyptic news, I think there's something very sweet about Pam Anderson and Liam Neeson dating and being very smitten with each other during The Naked Gun press tour. And, yes, I will go see this movie because I saw each of the previous 3 in the theater and laughed my ass off.

neutral · AI labelView post →The Naked Gun is a movie to see in the theater just to hear different people in the audience lose their shit over different jokes. There was a row of women who completely lost their minds when the bad guy reaches out to shake hands and says "Lt. Drebin" and Drebin goes "Hey, me too!"
positive · AI labelView post →See what fans have to say about The Naked Gun. In theatres this Friday. #NakedGun #ParamountPartner
neutral · AI labelView post →The Naked Gun feels like a Naked Gun movie, and punches at the right people, and I think that makes it a minor miracle in 2025
positive · AI labelView post →what’s so good about the new The Naked Gun film is how it demonstrates the greatness of Leslie Nielsen & the genius of the Zucker, Abrahams, Zucker, Proft writing team
positive · AI labelView post →Huge shoutout to the couple who just ruined The Naked Gun for me by talking for the entire first half of the movie until they were shamed into silence by me saying, “No, you cannot answer your phone in here,” when one of them *answered his phone in there*.

neutral · AI labelView post →Finally watched THE NAKED GUN. The “man’s laughter” gag is a perfect joke. This cannot be the first movie to do it???
positive · AI labelView post →I love that The Naked Gun only has a small handful of references to the first movie, and that they're really quick. I counted three, one being the O.J. photo.

neutral · AI labelView post →One of the weird things around the NAKED GUN discourse is misremembering the "Movie" Movies (EPIC MOVIE, DATE MOVIE, MEET THE SPARTANS) as the only spoofs of the 2000s and not beloved films like WALK HARD, ANCHORMAN, ZOOLANDER, TALLADEGA NIGHTS, and DODGEBALL which were also killing it but died.

neutral · AI labelView post →haven't seen the movie yet but I am thrilled to see The Naked Gun getting so many great reviews. the "genre spoof" sub-genre was beaten almost to death by those wretched Friedberg / Seltzer disgraces, and I am so glad that some legitimate filmmakers have nursed it back to life.
positive · AI labelView post →seated for The Naked Gun. an 85-minute movie. AN 85-MINUTE MOVIE. incredible, never thought I’d see the day again
positive · AI labelView post →The Naked Gun was a real fun movie theater ass movie, let me tell you. A few bits that slayed me, a lot of good sensible chuckles. An extended Buffy the Vampire Slayer gag. And a surprise manosphere send up to boot? Yeah! Fun!
positive · AI labelView post →New 2026 movie thread! Starting the year with The Naked Gun (2025) and yeah we are so back, this was hilarious and perfectly in the spirit of the original
positive · AI labelView post →On the spoof scale, The Naked Gun reboot is way more Naked Gun than Epic Movie, thank god www.avclub.com/the-naked-gu...
neutral · AI labelView post →THE NAKED GUN is exactly the movie we all needed it to be, please let this save the studio comedy
positive · AI labelView post →PERSON OF THE DAY. 11 February 1926. Leslie Nielsen was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He appeared in more than 100 films including the Airplane and the Naked Gun film series, but don’t call him Shirley. 😂

neutral · AI labelView post →Tonight I saw The Naked Gun again, with my kids and in-laws this time. Talk about a movie that rewards repeat viewings, holy fucking shit
positive · AI labelView post →RIP Jim Abrahams. Everyone will probably (and rightly) post clips from AIRPLANE! (1980) and THE NAKED GUN (1988) but he and the Zuckers were also responsible for RUTHLESS PEOPLE (1986), Bill Pullman's film debut. I quote lines from this scene all the time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PS6l...
neutral · AI labelView post →While Val Kilmer's death is obviously awful, it's been genuinely lovely to see the sheer level of outpouring of love for Top Secret!, a film that always felt like my little secret because it never gets talked about the way Airplane and The Naked Gun do, though I think it's better than both.
neutral · AI labelView post →Is anyone else obsessed with how cute Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are together omg?? Going to hopefully see the Naked Gun movie with them both in today or tomorrow

neutral · AI labelView post →77. Dungeon Meshi: SOOO excited for S2! Anime captured the tone and comedy so well. 78: Megamind: Way better written than I expected? Sad I slept on this one. 79: The Naked Gun: Some great gags but I way prefer the original movie.

neutral · AI labelView post →My ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 review of THE NAKED GUN boxd.it/cfi7r1 Liam Neeson & Pamela Anderson deliver deft comic performances, but prefer Frank Drebin more incompetent than superhuman. Whiplash gags vary between delightfully silly & irredeemably idiotic. Fast, furious, but only occasionally inspired. #filmsky 📽
positive · AI labelView post →THE NAKED GUN excepted, comedies barely ever play theaters anymore. Have they found a more hospitable home on streaming services? For The Reveal, I watched five 2025 comedies, most with big-name stars, as a kind of wellness check. What I found wasn't encouraging (even when the movies weren't bad).
neutral · AI labelView post →I don't know if the movie will be any good, but holy cow did they freaking nail the first teaser for The Naked Gun. youtu.be/_8-N8IIq_8I
neutral · AI labelView post →I love Airplane! And the humor in Top Secret is much like that film. It also pays tribute to all three of the Naked Gun movies.
neutral · AI labelView post →The Naked Gun was tremendous. Favorite movie of the summer so far, and that says a lot.
positive · AI labelView post →The Naked Gun films are basically comedy perfection as far as I’m concerned so there’s a high bar for this to clear. youtu.be/_8-N8IIq_8I?...
neutral · AI labelView post →Why was Angie Tribeca not more popular?. The series ran from 2016-2018, but I had never even heard of it until after it ended. It was well-written and full of absurd humor akin to _Police Squad!_, _The Naked Gun_, _Airplane!_, etc. It was created by the lead/star of _the Office_, was led/starred by another _the Office_ actor, and had countless other celebrity guest stars throughout. Any time I see the series mentioned, it is being praised. So, why was it not more popular during its initial run?…
