Is great and can be rewatched endlessly. Then again, Idiocracy. Getting less and less funny and more scary as we come closer to that future.

In an Adventure with Scientists!’ had a planned sequel that was cancelled because it didn’t do well enough at the box office, and that still hurts me. It’s an insanely underrated movie that I needed any opportunity to talk about haha
positive · AI labelView post →The best Aardman film is probably The Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists, but literally any Wallace & Gromit film is also a valid answer. Also Stage Fright is a quality deep cut.

positive · AI labelView post →I had to think long an' 'ard about this one, but I can confidently say that me favourite movie be The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (And I'd probably end up putting one of the Wallace and Gromit short films/movies at second, so it be clear Aardman be me favourite studio Yar har har!)
positive · AI labelView post →I’m still annoyed that the Aardman movie The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! was retitled The Pirates! Band of Misfits for the American release and also dubbed over two original voice actors to add in a couple of lackluster American performances
neutral · AI labelView post →Ah, the same movie known as "The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!". Not the most focussed marketing but a cracking romp.
positive · AI labelView post →Adapted from the book The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists, this witty and meticulously detailed film was Aardman's return to feature-length stop-motion and their last film with Sony Pictures Animation. It did manag to get nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars.

neutral · AI labelView post →161) The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! Not an incredible or super deep film or anything, but a super fun time that I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of. Mr Bobo is the goat. Honestly everyone is the goat. Aardman never misses. Just really funny idk, give it a watch when you can!
positive · AI labelView post →#movies The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (2012) — It's an Aardman feature, so the stop-motion animation being great is a given. Fun to see the silly pirates (and cute dodo bird) do their swashbuckling. Cheeky depictions of Charles Darwin and Queen Victoria too, wasn't expecting that.
positive · AI labelView post →Remember how Paddington 2 was Hugh Grant’s best performance? Well no, it’s The Pirates in an Adventure With Scientists. We throw around ‘underrated’ far too much, but my lord is this movie underrated.

neutral · AI labelView post →A rediculously fun animated film for everyone to enjoy. Pirates! In an adventure with Scientists! has an amazing cast with humorous moments and of course, the beards! Hugh Grant is just funny, and the same goes for this film!
positive · AI labelView post →Given the name, it took me a long time to understand that this wasn't a sequel to something. But I watched it anyway, because I was short on 2012 movies for my best to worst list. Adventure with Scientists! will probably end up somewhere around the middle of that list. Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole.
