The Telephone is an extremely dark and disturbing horror game. In this game you wake up in a room with a telephone, and use the telephone to transport yourself to places such as a small village, a creepy house, a cornfield, a small park, sewers, and a school. During your travels you fight against flying demons and an unrelenting scarecrow, but 90% of the game is exploring, finding items, and solving puzzles. The …

You know those reviews that say they cannot understand negative reviews? Well this is one of them! This game was completely atmospheric. It starts out in a room with a phone, then expands endlessly from there! The locations get more interesting as you go. Things change, that's all I'll say without ruining it. Sure it take a while to get into the groove, but once you do, it's pretty awesome. Scary at times, but never …

Daniele knocked it out of the park again! Sound design, the different settings, overall feel of dread anytime you aren't in a lit area, and also while have some minimal defense mechanisms! Puzzles were similar to that of Lost Alone where collecting pieces, getting them to the right spot, then resolving the puzzle to move forward is a welcome return and shows evolution in the puzzle types/designs. The jumpscares …

Another fun and scary game by Doesn't Matter Games! I already enjoyed the previous games a lot, so I was very excited for his newest game "The Telephone". As a solo dev, he did an amazing job. The game has very unique mechanics like the telephone, or having to keep yourself fed. Trying to stay fed can be a bit stressful at times, but it keeps you on edge. There are also collectibles in the game, which for me as a …

You play as a woman named Roberta who is locked in a room trying to find out what happened to 10 missing women. You find out 5 of them are dead, so your quest is to find the remaining 5 women to see if they are still alive. The game consists of a linear puzzle horror game with a few jump scares and very good atmosphere. Overall, I enjoyed the game but is the least spooky out…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →About 6 hour long psychological horror game with several mechanics, inventory, healing items, etc. as well as several relatively simple puzzles. Voice over is in italian but there are english subtitles. Everything written is fully in english. I played through the whole thing, as I usually do with interesting new horror games, and you're welcome to check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoBr4FGezSk

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game starts off slow with the need to sleep to get the phone mechanics in but the intrigue keeps ya goin. It has elements of survival games when it comes to the need to eat and horror (this is) staples when it comes to fear meters. Our job is to regain our memory somehow. I remain intrigued enough to see it through. Solid effort here. Sample gameplay: https://youtu.be/6CbDamqvZcw
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is all wrong and is what happens when people play the Telephone game. Piker supports female bodily autonomy and agency. If you have receipts of him minimizing the Holocaust, post them. Lawrence I know less about, but he was talking about established Black politicians & their risk aversion.
neutral · AI labelView post →The Telephone, developed by Daniele Doesn’t Matter and published by Doesn’t Matter Games, is a psychological horror adventure that leans heavily into atmosphere, tension, and introspective storytelling rather than fast-paced action or traditional survival mechanics. From the moment the game begins, players are placed into a disorienting and claustrophobic scenario, controlling Roberta, who awakens in an unfamiliar and confined space with fragmented memories and little understanding of how she…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mythology is an accurate term, but that doesn't mean it's completely made-up. It's history from before writing, recorded by the victors and distorted by thousands of years of the Telephone Game. But the core information remains: Humans lived in paradise until God came and expelled the Serpent.

neutral · AI labelView post →- good horror adventure with captivating (pun intended) story - atmospheric and arty - game creates lots of txt files on my desktop, why??? - only italian voices, not even english - subtitles often cut off for long dialogues so you will probably miss some lines - ending a bit unsatisfying (what about the other closed cells?) - final boss fight very frustrating. come on, people are buying adventures for the adventure, why do devs think they have to include such stuff into games like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has so many bugs i may need an exterminator. Game freezes while examining inventory and you die, have to start over in beginning of chapter. There is manual no save points. You can't pause the game to use the restroom, so you die while on the toilet from starvation or fright. I have 7 hours of play in this nauseating game, going to try for a refund...don't waste your money even if it's on sale
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoy playing games by this single Dev...very creative and fun games. And i do not agree with the negative reviews at all. This game is a PC horror game that centers around a mysterious, unsettling telephone used to navigate through a series of cryptic and often disturbing environments with an intriguing concept, and some jump scares. The story is very mysterious and will keep you in suspense the whole game. And the atmosphere and sound design are well done. I have not…
