Greed, revenge, world dominance and high-tech terrorism – it's all in a day's work for Bond, who's on a mission to protect a beautiful oil heiress from a notorious terrorist. In a race against time that culminates in a dramatic submarine showdown, Bond works to defuse the international power struggle that has the world's oil supply hanging in the balance. From TMDB

This is the Q Boat used by Pierce Brosnan in the opening scene of The World Is Not Enough in 1999 for a chase scene on the Thames River.
neutral · AI labelView post →Let's take a moment to appreciate that, in the Bond film 'The World is Not Enough' (1999), MI6 apparently keeps a low profile in *checks notes* Eilean Donan castle, one of the most visited and photographed places in Scotland. The dozen or so satellite dishes on the roof are also very inconspicuous 📡

neutral · AI labelView post →The World Is Not Enough is a good Bond movie and Denise Richards’ performance in it is fine!
positive · AI labelView post →THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH is a Christmas movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →The World Is Not Enough is a top-tier Bond film AND a top-tier Bond song. Film: Brosnan's best performance, Dench gets a lot to do, Bond has more moral quandries than usual, Carlyle is a cool and grounded villain, opening sequence is banger. Song: Perfect blend of old-school vibes and modern band.
positive · AI labelView post →58 Candles 🎂 today for the classically trained cellist, actor and breathtakingly beautiful (and intoxicating in person) SOPHIE MARCEAU Electra King in the James Bond movie THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH (1999)
neutral · AI labelView post →Many happy returns to John Cleese, born on this day in 1939. Cleese featured in THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and DIE ANOTHER DAY but he's not the only ex-python to appear in a Bond film:

A nice feature - James Bond's boat from The World Is Not Enough, a film ft an elaborate action sequence at the Dome!
neutral · AI labelView post →Now watching: ‘The World is Not Enough’, dir. Michael Apted, 1999. A perfect time capsule of turn-of-the-Millenium Britain. Big beat score. PoMo docklands. Magic Eye digital graphics all over the shop. 🎥🎬

neutral · AI labelView post →there's only one movie you need to see about nuclear physicists and/or bimbos and that is The World Is Not Enough (1999)
neutral · AI labelView post →Casual reminder that THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, is objectively a Christmas movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →well I'm a nuclear physicist and I'm pretty slutty so like Denise Richards' turn as nuclear physicist Dr. Christmas Jones in the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough is actually a pretty good portrayal
positive · AI labelView post →The World is Not Enough. Terrible movie, excellent song.
negative · AI labelView post →Happy Birthday to Denise Richards! She starred as Dr. Christmas Jones in 1999s #JamesBond film THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and we think she was unfairly judged, but have you come around on 007s favourite nuclear physicist? neutral · AI labelView post →#BondSoundsTOP25 7. Garbage - The World Is Not Enough Considering Elektra King is the mastermind behind the villainous scheme in this film, and with underlying themes of seduction and domination in the song - who do you get to record it? Hello Garbage! An ultra-modern theatrical showstopper.

negative · AI labelView post →The World is Not Enough is a Christmas movie? Right?
neutral · AI labelView post →I've been wanting to make Gwonam say "No Time to Die" for years. Also, Dr. Rabbit could easily say "Dr. NO!" and "The World Is Not Enough", so I imagined putting them both in a "Name That 007 Movie" contest. Maybe I'll get to it someday, or maybe someone else will see this post and steal the idea

neutral · AI labelView post →The World Is Not Enough got bad reviews but it's not only a good Bond movie, it's one of the best Bond movies.
positive · AI labelView post →The World is Not Enough is a Christmas movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →The World Is Not Enough (1999, d. Michael Apted) has probably one of the best instances of Chekhov’s Chainsaw Helicopter ever put on film:
positive · AI labelView post →The World Is Not Enough is a brilliant film that was ahead of its time. An ego maniacal Billionaire attempting to influence current events in order to directly enrich himself? Also has a big weird experimental vehicle. Literally ticks every box.
positive · AI labelView post →25 years ago, The World is Not Enough (the nineteenth #JamesBond film) was released in UK cinemas #onthisday
neutral · AI labelView post →The World Is Not Enough is a sad James Bond movie for me because it’s the last time we see Q played by Desmond Llewelyn. He will forever be my favorite character in all the films. He was killed by a drunk driver. “Never let them see you bleed. Always have an escape plan” my two rules
neutral · AI labelView post →The World is Not Enough is a Christmas movie. Furthermore, Christmas Jones is a fun character and Denise Richard’s gives the exact performance the character required - campy, which as an actor she excels at. You all are just haters.

neutral · AI labelView post →Bond rewatch is back on. The World is Not Enough. An underrated theme song. The movie is edging towards more serious and more stupid at the same time (John Cleese jump scare). That inlaid and lacquered torture chair however…
neutral · AI labelView post →I grew up with James Bond. My mother loved James Bond, and eagerly took us to see every new film. My first one was FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. They were family affairs. I think the last time I went to a film with the whole family, uncles and cousins included, was THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, on Christmas.
neutral · AI labelView post →Say what you will about Dr. Jones but we think Denise Richards did a great job with what she was given in 1999s #JamesBond film THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, but has she since won you over too? Hear more from Denise in our exclusive interview: pod.fo/e/16a87f

neutral · AI labelView post →The World Is Not Enough is kinda a sad movie because it’s a good movie but if they’d had more confidence in doing a lower stakes Elektra vs Bond and M revenge plot movie without the nukes and stuff dragging down the 3rd act it would probably be a Great movie

neutral · AI labelView post →22. The World Is Not Enough (1999) Denise Richards is a common complaint for this film. I agree it was a casting whiff, but I’m not sure a different casting choice would have upped it a ton of notches. Brosnan portrayed Bond well in a film that is just forgettable.

neutral · AI labelView post →Bond film with the greatest inverse ratio of film quality to theme song bangerness? I'd say DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER and LIVE AND LET DIE are up there, but THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH is v competitive.
positive · AI labelView post →James Bond: The World is Not Enough: Every person in this film except Denise Richards went for fancy acting training. All treating this like Shakespeare. Richards is "Dr. Christmas Jones", a ludicrous role, and it's unforgiving. She's hot, funny, and an escapee from a 1970s Bond
neutral · AI labelView post →The World is Not Enough is on. Now this is a bad movie.
