Biggest problem is that there is nobody on multiplayer and its their fault. You CAN'T WAIT for other people. If you click I want to play NA, it automaticly create a game for you if there is no one else (which is always the case). So even if people would join you they would be far behind making everything harder for them. The combat is also very bad, the mechanic are there but unusable. The dodge a no Iframe and even …

One of my top 5 games ever. I loved every minute of this game. It died because of some QoL issues. One of the core issues is that, apart from the first couple months, It felt dead, not because people werent playing, but because matchmaking would not wait for a full lobby. It would consistently put you in a lobby by yourself. At that point I joined the Discord and had full lobbies with people there looking for games. …

A year ago my friend kept telling me to try this game. I looked at it once and instantly wrote it off as some trash Minecraft knockoff. Didn’t think twice about it. Fast forward to yesterday on a whim I bought it, fully convinced I’d refund it before the 2-hour limit. Zero expectations. None. We loaded in… and somehow 6 HOURS disappeared. No breaks, no boredom, no “let’s hop off soon.” It genuinely felt like 30 …

If you enjoy playing games where you cycle between hacking and slashing through a ton of mobs to level up and learn new skills, gathering resources, building and upgrading your base, crafting armor sets and various weapons, and going after bosses for good loot, then you'll love this game.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I could enjoy these games. They might be excellent, fun, innovative but none of that matters when they come bundled with pseudo-spyware, shady anti-cheat, or any intrusive software running in the background. I absolutely refuse to install anything that messes with my PC more than necessary. 2K and Gearbox for me are more than dead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have never actually played this game. All of the hours logged are from tech support telling me to do various tasks to try and get the game to run. They once told me to let the game try and load for 9 hour I think so that I couldn't return it because the loading time was showing up as "hours on record". Steam would also not return the game despite me telling them that it was tech support's fault that I had that many hours logged. I cannot recommend this game because it wouldn't run on my PC…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay itself is okay, the fact that you must be online to play it is terrible, also there is like milion micro transaction what is not fun in game that you must buy.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I went into Tribes of Midgard because I like Viking culture, and the idea of combining a Viking setting with a top-down survival game genuinely interested me. After finishing it, however, I ended up with the feeling that this is a game that took several ideas from Valheim, changed the perspective and combat, and then never managed to build an identity strong enough to stand on its own. That starts with the visual design. I have no problem with a stylised or cartoon-like Viking game, and…

neutral · AI labelView post →this game has so much bad game designs i can make a full list of it for you. 1. Weather system : You would think " oh nice this game has a weather system it is cold so ill go and build the lava armor" WRONG fire armor does not counter react ice apparently clearly devs did not pass 3rd grade science. thats the first cardinal sin i have noticed but ok no big deal ill make the ice armor then. devs say "nope ♥♥♥♥ you the mats for that armor is locked behind the snow biome" , the area in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile game. Basic attack. Ridiculous dodgeroll. Just grind to hit harder, no strategy. Cant climb on rocks, dive in water, die, cant pick equipment back. Map's layout full of hills everywhere, you cant climb on them, you have to build retarded structure to walk on, that are a mess to connect. You have to walk around hills. Are you serious designing such bad layout. Refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring and bland. There's no meat. The game seems to be built around and for the store and micro-transactions. Play plain old Valheim or V: Rising instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not really worth the hassle to try to make it run. Re-entering a world fails due to a connection error (known for years) and the workaround does not work consistently.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is way better than I thought it would be. I got it on sale, and I was expecting so little for such a low price. Thankfully, it surprised me! It’s actually a fun and well-made game. The graphics are smooth, the enemies are challenging (for a while until you level up), and the controls are tight. Some reviewers complain that the controls and gameplay are too simple, but I guess I was just in the mood for something simple and fun. I played it in co-op, and we had fun exploring,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, had all the things needed to be a good game, it just isnt. After a few hours you see what trash game this actually is. Sad but true. Made by a phone game developer, explains most of it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I find it kinda funny that turns out the survival game I was looking for was in my steam library all along: Tribes of Midgard Food and water is an issue, but not huge when starting out. There's enough of a plot and goals that I feel like my character has a purpose. And the devs are total nerds.
positive · AI labelView post →When you're in a wasted potential competition and your opponent is Tribes of Midgard.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game managed to delete my graphics driver and screwed up quite a few other things when I attempted to start it. Took like 2 hours to get everything back in order again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It seemed like it would be fun, but this is just terrible. Everything feels so freaking clunky and just weird. It's as if this were a very early access game, but it came out 5 years ago... Crafting is clunky and not streamlined at all. I crafted a pickaxe, because certain starter weapons need stone. You are very surrounded by stones of all shapes and sizes. The walls of the starter area were small cliffs of rock, as well as random mid to small stones that would be easily harvested in any…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you want this game, get Valheim. Its the same thing, but Valheim does it better. Don't even get me started on the camera........Sorry dev's, it just feel like a cheap rip off.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The premises of this game is good, but the actual gameplay is outright horrendous. 100% friend slop type game as well Would not buy ever again Also, I do not recommend Don’t waste your money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea, poor execution. This game is SO SLOW and repetetive. I got bored oof the ENDLESS GRIND after the first 4 bosses - you either need to farm stupid amounts of stuff or travel for hours to get to piece 1 of x to activate something. Bosses are easy - stand in a corner, spam bow, dodge, repeat. Meh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't think I've ever tried a game with a worse starting introduction. And once you kind of figure out what to do, you soon realize just how little the game respects your time. Forcing you to run around looking for iron all over the map.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We bravely fought a frost giant for 15 minutes straight. He had 2% HP left. Then he sneezed and killed us all. Peak Viking gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1,000-Hour Valheim Veteran's Vacation Simulator: At 6 hours of game play, my profile is only Valhalla Level 5, and I have already completely broken the local ecosystem. If you're coming from Valheim, your muscle memory makes this game an absolute power fantasy. The game tries to tell a serious story about a desperate Viking apocalypse, but the open-world sandbox mechanics are wonderfully exploitable: The Real Estate: I bypassed hours of progression because the map generator gave me an idyllic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Valheim wanna be. But woke and worst,
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game but sadly there are ground breaking bugs such as: Lost a few hours of progress (and materials) because of disappearing chest and structures on a private server. Can't connect on our server unless we switched an crossplay on/off setting every time we want to connect. Pathfinding, world map collisions, building system are crappy. Impossible add lights in interior so it's always dark. Sad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay: 6 Story/Plot: 5 Graphics: 6 Vibe: 5 Music: 6 Final Thoughts: I enjoyed this game. Tho, sometimes, it could get a little bit of repetetive. But I had fun, it's better to play with friends. Overall Rating: 6.5

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tribes of Midgard, developed by Norsfell and published by Gearbox Publishing, is an ambitious genre blend that mixes survival crafting, action RPG combat, and cooperative base defense into a time-driven Viking adventure. Rather than following the slower, open-ended pacing typical of survival games, it builds its entire structure around urgency. Every session feels like a race against an approaching catastrophe, and that constant pressure defines both the game’s most compelling moments and its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing really keeping me playing past the 5and½ hours I've played. Glad I only played 5 bucks.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The control mechanics on this game is a nightmare... The moment you get to a boat you will understand what I'm saying... Plus, the ranged enemies should be recruited as elite snipers, because they don't miss.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was fun for what I played, however, when I loaded my multiplayer world I got stuck in an endless loop of being kicked back to the menu. In other words.. I can't play my save. Disappointing. If you can get it to work, then you could have fun. But I guess I'll never know.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game. If you like foraging for resources, fighting monsters, and building a base then this might be a good game for you. My ten year old had a blast playing this with us.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, if you like viking era and top down "Diablo style" gameplay, this game is definitely for you. A little blend of Valheim and Diablo with comic styling.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good enough to spend some hours on it A typical "Get it on sale" game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't really suggest this game for those who really wanna build. Like sure this may be neat if you like the more top down Diablo-like thing it has going on, but to me it really is just Tribes of Midgard, but you take the gard out. I'd pick Valheim or Enshrouded over this, to be brutally honest.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to love this game. The art style is charming, the Norse aesthetic looked promising, and the idea of combining action-RPG combat with survival mechanics sounded like a great loop. Unfortunately, it suffers from a severe identity crisis that ultimately makes it more tedious than fun. The core issue is how the game dictates your pacing. It markets itself as a co-op survival and exploration game, but forces you onto a relentless, high-stress clock thats just way too fast. You are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game looked quite interesting, however I could not get into it at all. The progression feels off, there is not really a guide on what you should be doing, the quests don't really add anything or hint at what to do next. I only played singleplayer, so no opinion if it is more fun with friends. Some of the controls feel clunky and unresponsive, maybe it's better with controller, but controllers are not for me. The dodgeroll and block have no real feedback, the UI is not that good and feels…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Combat • 8/10 Graphics • 10/10 (Love the art style) Enemy Variety • 5/10 (Could've been more enemies, pretty much the same 7 or 8 type of different enemies) Story • 2/10 (Little to non-existent, just progression with a little lore) Level Design • 4/10 (Terrain travel feels terrible and extremely exhausting) Sound Design • 6/10 (Nothing special) Indeed a solid game. Pretty fun, catchy and relaxing at the same time. Some aspects are similar to No Rest For The Wicked but NRFTW is superior in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought on sale for £3.74. So far played for 3hrs, so it's a good deal! It's like Valheim but top-down. I'm not sure what people are not liking, but I've been having a blast playing the 'survival mode' with my sister. Explore, craft, sail... it feels a little bit faster than Valheim as well, and the graphics are more appealing to me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is quite underwhelming. The story is unengaging. The gameplay is pretty mindless and boring. You just run around and M1 spam everything, press 1 key to harvest nodes, and every now and then craft stuff. The ship, slopes, and elevation in the game are pretty buggy. Building is not required or beneficial really. A lot of the late game stuff just one shots you, even though it's mostly easy to avoid. I tried to like this game, but yeah it really wasn't that fun. 2.5/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like a phone game Valheim rip-off. It's very grindy. Things unlock at a slow pace. Ressources except for wood are scarce as you need to hunt for them across the map constantly. Upgrades take a long time to develop. The combat is very generic and only relies on you clicking on your enemies. The graphics are dated and the music is uninspired. The only cool moment I had was when our group of players got on a boat to reach another island. Besides that, I don't find it really fun. What I like…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was on of my favorite games to play through. I have 100%ed the steam achievements but not all the in game ones which was nice and fulfilling the way achievements should be. Originally I didn't realize but its survival mode, which was the original mode, was very reminiscent of Enfo's Team Survival and Hero Siege from WC3. The Norse setting was well implemented, using runes, giants, and other concepts to shape a enjoyable experience. The later Implementation of base building and long form…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically, character creation has been monitized to a point where you can only select 1 beard unless you buy the other options. Game play is boring, music is repeatitive and in 24 minutes I was barely able to do anything without some NPC interrupting me. I was able to deforest much of the starting zone using kicks before I could craft an axe because I couldn't find any branches! Rocks and iron are far and few so I'm not sure if it's to simulate the need to find mines or just poor designed. The…
