First off it says Ive played 202 hours on this game which isn’t exactly true. I’d say it’s more in the region of 100 hours. My gf played it for the rest) Can I recommend this game? Oh, dear, god, No! and I hate that I can’t. I’m old enough to remember Theme hospital which was an amazing, fun game. Three point hospital feels like a very boring, hollow, shadow of that game. For me, the main flaw is the difficulty. …

I downloaded Two Point Hospital thinking I’d play for “like 10 minutes.” Three hours later my hospital was on fire, a guy with a lightbulb for a head was screaming for help, and my janitor was too busy chasing ghosts to mop the floor. I have never been happier. This game is the perfect mix of strategy, comedy, and pure addiction. You build your hospital, hire questionable employees, cure absolutely ridiculous …

Faithful to the ol' Theme Hospital, which I can still hear now if I close my eyes and remember simpler times. Two Point Hospital manages to retain that vibe, through its art style and progression, whilst also somehow making it feel quite fresh and modern. Hours lost to this, with plenty more to go!

Are you looking for a modern version of Theme Hospital, that game you remember playing in potato-vision on your dad's PC in the 90s? Look no further; this is literally that - and a very good incarnation of it, too. A cute, peculiar and funny take on the management simulator genre where you're tasked with building and operating a series of hospitals under increasingly perilous conditions. Initially, you unlock …

It's ok. Feels very repetitive after a few hospitals. Not a hater of the game, but just got bored after 4 or 5 hospitals. I wish there was some variance between hospitals, but it's really just "hospital bigger, make more of the same stuff starting from scratch". If you like this genre (I'm 50/50 on the genre), it's probably great, just kind of boring for me

Players who liked Two Point Hospital talk about great humor and ridiculous illnesses; those who didn't talk about repetitive level design. Which matters more to you?
Critics, per Wikipedia
Two Point Hospital was received positively by critics. Media review aggregation website Metacritic summarised the game as garnering "generally favorable reviews". Critics were especially positive about how it holds up in comparison to Theme Hospital, with many giving praise for its nostalgic value as well as the improvements. Rachel Weber of GamesRadar+ was positive about the game's use of nostalgia, stating that the game had "taken the funny bones" from the original and transplanted them into Two Point Hospital. Game Informer's Ben Reeves thought that Two Point Studios had done "a remarkable job reviving Theme Hospital". GamesMaster described Two Point Hospital as "the perfect cure" for…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game delivers as a basic tycoon game with great polish, but that's all it really is. There's not much content, and honestly the highlight is the radio. If it were cheaper, I could recommend it, but $30 is just way too much to ask for such a simple game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"One qualified janitor for ghost hunting, please! Patient: dead!" Two Point Hospital was my very first Two Point game and my introduction to the wonderful world of Two Point Studios. And honestly, what an introduction it was. What I like I really like Two Point Hospital. You get to run all kinds of hospitals, hire doctors, nurses, janitors, and assistants, and train them to become better and more specialized at what they do. As your hospitals grow, so does the complexity of managing them.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unplayable on the Steam Deck [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45534557/]@MatureContent I played this game with my wife. She used to play it a lot years ago, and so she recommended I try it. At first we wanted to play it on her Steam Deck, but it unfortunately doesn’t work on it, since movement requires WASD and the Steam Deck uses thumbsticks for movement, so we played it on my pc instead. This game is a bit like Prison Architect but with hospitals and more kid friendly. You…

These guys have a habit of releasing a skeleton of a good game, then spending the next several years spamming out DLC to the extent I'll not reinstall the base game because I'm apparently missing *checks the dlc list* 11 items so therefore I can't enjoy the full game without forking out another 20+ quid. These are average games at best, aped off rollercoaster tycoon, theme hospital and the likes. They draw you in with nostalgia, and a low entry price for the base…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just realized how much time I've spent on this game, and I'm embarrassed. What's funny is that I was kind of disappointed with the game when I first started it. Maybe it's just me, but I feel the advertising to be a bit misleading, as this is not so much of a "build your own hospital" game as it is a level-based strategy game with specific goals to meet. The management aspect is all there, but personal creativity is limited as the focus is on function over form. It becomes very procedural…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You may need to stick with this one; it could grow on you. At first, it seemed repetitive. Build a reception desk, build a GP Office, build a General Diagnosis, build a Pharmacy, etc. etc., over and over again. But here are a few tips to deal with that: 1) Use room templates; 2) Copy rooms when multiples are needed in the current hospital; 3) Treat all hospitals as ongoing projects; it is necessary only to finish the first level of each to advance to the next so further advances may be…

neutral · AI labelView post →This is a really fun and interesting game. It can be played without headphones, the only thing you really miss out on is the announcements, you may need to check machines, trashbins, the toliets and the like a little more frequently if you do play without headphones. I havne't played much on my computer but have a decent amount of progress so far. I do wish PA announcer had subtitles but other than that its fine. The different dieases are hilarious as are the methods to 'cure' them. I…

neutral · AI labelView post →Maybe I'm just spoiled because I played TPM before this, but god this game is soooo repetitive, which really is a shame! Even with moving to new locations to mix things up, I find myself just leaving the game running while I do something else because it takes so long with no input to get a 3 star hospital. Everything else has held up pretty good considering this game is getting up there in age. Love the dry humor too, but I just can't get past how bored I am playing this game. Get Two Point…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game Review: Two Point Hospital ⭐ 7/10 Okay… respect where respect is due — Two Point Hospital is a very well-made game. Smart, funny, polished, and ridiculously clever. But wow. By the time you get close to the end? It stops feeling like hospital management and starts feeling like you’re personally responsible for the entire healthcare system. I genuinely enjoy playing it. The humor lands, the mechanics are solid, and there’s something super satisfying about building your hospital from…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →for the first few hours, when everything was new, it was humorous. after that though, all the problems with the game design start coming through and the same jokes all the time makes it stale. initially building a room for a specific machine makes sense until you have to start decorating for room levels... which then ends up just spamming the same high level single tile poster to get the stars. without the room levels you cant use the more advanced machines. if you decorate "properly" it ends…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Random shoutout today to Two Point Hospital! This game scratches such a specific itch. I was fully obsessed with Theme Hospital back in the day and TPH is such a pitch-perfect homage to it. Charming, witty, addictive and tons of fun. If you're even slightly into this sim genre, it's a must play.

Divinity Original Sin 2, XCOM 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Witcher 3, Phasmaphobia, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age 2, Two Point Hospital, Valheim… And I reckon Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gate 2 and Morrowind on my childhood PC ❤️
neutral · AI labelView post →I wonder if the medical professionals who play Two-Point Hospital feel the same way that I do when I try to play Two-Point Campus -- It's a *great* game, but the things they're lampooning are just a little too close to home. It hurts how un-absurd some of the absurdities really are, from this side.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a real doctor, but I am so glad I don't work for a hospital ran by me. Because this lets me live my capitalistic dream <3. I love mechanics. Honestly, the soundtrack is also so much fun. I have completed all but the DLCs back in early 2020. After being bored, I decided to play it again in 2026 - and it was just as fun as I remembered. I love teh Two Point series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Strategy games are great! I like stuff Total War, Age of Empires, Xcom and Two Point Hospital. Such awesome games that focus heavily on great game play over everything else.
positive · AI labelView post →Own it for nostalgia, but in terms of actual play rather get Two Point Hospital: it's literally the same folks and almost same game, but with modern sensibilities and nicer graphics.
positive · AI labelView post →This is one of those games that really pulls you in and makes it easy to lose track of time. The gameplay is simple to pick up but has enough depth to keep things interesting as your hospital grows. Everything runs really smoothly and I haven’t had any stability issues so far. It’s genuinely fun watching your hospital develop while trying to keep everything running efficiently. The game can also give you a bit of a challenge at times, especially when things start getting hectic. I can…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've put about 173 hours into Two Point Hospital, and even after all that time, it's still one of the most enjoyable management games in my Steam library. What I love most about the game is how it balances deep management mechanics with a great sense of humor. Running a hospital, expanding departments, hiring staff, and keeping patients happy is engaging on its own, but the ridiculous illnesses and witty announcements give the game so much personality. The progression feels…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my favorite Two Point title. My only wish is that Two Point Hospital could unlock building customization—just like Two Point Campus and Two Point Museum—and expand the scope of exterior walls. That way, players wouldn’t have to arrange buildings in confined spaces and would be able to unleash their creativity with more freedom.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game! And when you put about 10 hours into a sandbox level, it'll suddenly prevent you from loading it until you sign up to their newsletter. And then, when you do (because it is a fun game) they won't let you log into the game anyway. Apparently its a years old bug they can't be bothered to fix. I wouldn't be so annoyed except it IS a good game, destroyed by literal marketing...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have spent an insane amount of hours playing this. If you need to chill out your brain, this is where it's at. It's worth the price point even at full price. It's the kind of game to come back to whenever you're overwhelmed and just want to, you know...manage the the sh*t out of a hospital infastructure while the real world burns. A game to chill to. I really like this developer, they make good stuff. A+

On one hand, various mechanics, like heating regulation, janitors, etc., have started working way better. The clinic does not turn into a disaster if you speed things up. There is also more variety in the diseases you can cure, as well as in the missions you can complete. However, there is one big issue: the mechanics are SUPER repetitive. And they were always like that. After…

If you were also once a child, some time ago, and enjoyed Theme Hospital, this is a perfect homage to that classic game. Two Point Hospital has 15 hospitals you need to turn around in the base game, and it can be reasonably challenging. It's possible to completely ♥♥♥♥ yourself; taking out too many loans, and hiring too many staff, splashing out on golden toilets. Patients can die, but there's nothing horrifically graphic, it's all done in a…
