Undertone might be the scariest movie of 2026 so far. Psychological, disturbing, and genuinely unsettling. I haven’t seen a horror film mess with me like that in a long time
My top three films of 2026 already… Undertone is literally so fucking good…definitely see it in theaters don’t wait for streaming!!
UNDERTONE is easily the worst new movie I've seen in 2026. A brazen mishmash of lazy grabs from better movies like SKINAMARINK and THE BABADOOK overlaid with gimmicky sound design. Obnoxiously assured of its own formal cleverness. PRESENCE (2025) way better at this kind of thing.

i don’t get scared by movies often at all but undertone (2026) genuinely scared the shit out of me. we also saw it in an empty theater which made it INSANE
