positive · AI labelView post →Will Poulter and Noah Centineo, both terrific, embed with real-life recovering addicts in a rural Ohio court program in Adam Meeks' docu-drama UNION COUNTY, which is low-key to a fault but bristles with authenticity. #Sundance2026 www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

With permission, Adam Meeks collaborates with the participants of the 2025 Adult Recovery Court in Bellefontaine, Ohio – his hometown. Will Poulter is one of the few actors in the film, chameleoning with ease for an understated, sobering role. #Sundance

positive · AI labelView post →I don't know if I am exactly "looking forward" to UNION COUNTY but I am very glad someone has finally made that movie. Opiate addiction killed my cousin + several of my high school classmates, all of whom left kids behind. These drugs are causing generational fissures in Ohio, it's so devastating.

neutral · AI labelView post →UNION COUNTY (2026) Will Poulter gives a great performance as a man struggling with the opioid epidemic in this powerful film about a drug court that focuses on helping addicts, instead of punishing them. The non-professional actors (all involved in recovery) add verisimilitude. #365Movies 360

positive · AI labelView post →Filmmaker Adam Meeks' "Union County" is a raw, unvarnished look at addiction, centering on a young man (Will Poulter) going through an Ohio drug court. Meeks employed graduates and staff of a real drug court, who give the drama a startling honesty. 3/4 moviecricket.net/blog/2026/8/...

positive · AI labelView post →Union County is a tough movie to judge. While watching there were parts that seemed very amateur, only to find out they chunks of the movie were basically a documentary. It's worth watching, but it's almost impossible for it to be a high quality movie give the real life/acting split. 6.5/10
