What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 155 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (162 of 244 positive).
Some reviewers criticize the arbitrary weapon aiming restrictions and poor UI, calling them frustrating. [1][2][3]

(Note: I only bought this for and play the campaign) This is probably the sort of game I most agonize over reviewing. The quality of life in this game is absolutely atrocious. It takes like 5 minutes at the end of a mission just to shuffle 18 people into the evac zone. No timer, no enemies left, no threat. Just the amount of clicking and waiting it takes to do something with no challenge involved. (And yes, that's …

This is pretty bad. Weapons have arbitrary restrictions for what directions they can shoot (like the moves of chessfigures). Everything in this game is a bullet sponge. It's never made clear how to get most of the resources beyond buying them or converting them from one to the other. There is no "easing" into the game, if the first mission in the campaign you pick is one of the easier ones, you will be pitched into …

This is Xcom on steroids. Massive hordes of aliens come at you and you have to prepare for the worst. I like the heavy use of overwatch, it is definitely used. The only thing I wish it had is a grand campaign. It has smaller operations right now. So I cannot wait for the main campaign to come out. Definitely will be watching this and playing.

Some of the best Action Point based tactical combat around. It's a cross between Space Hulk + the original 1993 XCOM, with all the granularity that entails. Battlefields are highly interactive, with destructible terrain, explosive/flaming chain reactions, and movable objects which can act as cover. Lots of squad/gear customisation. Tons of loot, with better rewards for completing missions more efficiently or …

Great X-com-like game! However there is a steep learning curve so fair warning. Pros: -Awesome in-depth tactics gameplay (highly customizable squads/loadouts). -Meta-like (roguelite) progression in the single missions/operations mode and I would highly recommend that people start with those before tackling the main campaign. -Lots of replayability with many different game modes (progression outside of the campaign …

59% of the 155 Steam reviewers we collected recommend USC: Counterforce. The complaint that keeps coming up: arbitrary weapon aiming restrictions are frustrating. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

60 of 595 · most liked firstJuJu Watkins made a school-record nine three-pointers and scored 40 points as No. 6 USC routed California Baptist last night. It was Watkins' 16th game in her NCAA career with 30+ points. The only person with more 30-point games through their sophomore season? Caitlin Clark.

neutral · AI labelView post →Watching this amazing title game between USC & Iowa, and just remembered that trans-panic “Lady Ballers” movie the Daily Wire crapped out. The guys in that film would have pissed themselves after 30 seconds on a court with either of these teams.

neutral · AI labelView post →Some things stay in your mind long after bowl season ends and “USC losing the game on a 3rd-and-20 checkdown because they couldn’t tackle” is one of those things
neutral · AI labelView post →The bad news: We are about to spend the next week arguing about the phantom second in the Michigan game. The good news: We don’t have to talk about USC attendance anymore!
neutral · AI labelView post →Sam Darnold is the first USC quarterback to start a Super Bowl. If, after the game, he attacks a truck driver and gets stabbed, he will be the second USC quarterback to do that.
neutral · AI labelView post →Women's NCAA note: Can we keep the focus where it belongs? That would mean focusing on Dawn Staley and her team's stunning victory last night, and the big USC v UCLA game ahead. (And not on the bad behavior of a dude.)
neutral · AI labelView post →I don't understand the "they didn't play anyone" arguments. Schedules are often made years in advance. Three years ago, scheduling USC would look like a major game. One year ago, scheduling Michigan looked like a major game. I'm open to having someone explain this to me.
neutral · AI labelView post →JuJu Watkins has 38 points, 11 rebounds, eight blocks and five assists. And USC is going to hand No. 1 UCLA its first loss of the season. What a game. What an unbelievable effort by JuJu.
neutral · AI labelView post →JuJu Watkins was carried off the court during the USC vs. Mississippi State game after suffering an apparent knee injury.
neutral · AI labelView post →Still cracks me up. Hope it never gets old. Also, it reminds me that Maryland came back to beat USC in that game too.
neutral · AI labelView post →Same old story for USC. The Trojans are not going to convince anyone that they are different until they actually win a game like this.
neutral · AI labelView post →USC quarterbacks have started a championship game four times; one of them played in a championship game twice. Darnold is the first to win it. USC quarterbacks are 13-21 in the playoffs. AND YET Sam Darnold now has only half as many playoff wins as the USC leader, Mark Sanchez.

neutral · AI labelView post →How every USC game goes
neutral · AI labelView post →Important Note: I went into this looking for a game play experience something akin to XCOM or Xenonauts (a long form game type with long term squad, resource, and base management) and so my twenty six hours were spent exclusively on the campaign mode (and to be clear, that was about twenty-odd sub-missions total on the medium difficulty). There is a raft of individual missions with set objectives that rate player performance as an alternative way to play, and a somewhat more focused,…

neutral · AI labelView post →Congrats on the win today USC!! Had a blast at my first game 🗡️🏈🎉
neutral · AI labelView post →Behind Dylan Raiola, Oregon puts up 41 points and 504 yards. That was more yards than USC gave up in any game last season. Ducks O-line also stepped up. After giving up 4 sacks to OkState, they allowed USC no sacks.

neutral · AI labelView post →I was initially put off by all the negative reviews and had to buy this on Christmas sale for 2$, just to try this out. What I got was a decent game, with many dynamics from XCom and Phoenix point merged together. What this game is - an insanely detailed micro management heavy alien slaughter. You wont be fighting XCom pods of 3-4 aliens at a time, but a whole map worth of 50-100 aliens that will be converging on you. To counter that, you would typically be fielding 12+ marines. This means A…
