neutral · AI labelView post →1) We Live In Time. Terrifically put together weepy date movie. But ultimately feels like a fantasy about what a longterm relationship will be like rather than what it is. A “we not yet moved in together” date movie not “we had to arrange childcare or consult our shared calendar” date movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →honestly can’t even tell from its marketing what WE LIVE IN TIME is supposed to be about. tho to be fair at this point in my life if a movie isn’t about the intrigue behind the walls of the vatican during the election of the next pope, im not interested
neutral · AI labelView post →I never really saw what others saw in Andrew Garfield, but I watched We Live in Time and the man is just able to portray this soft sweetness to him that by the end of the movie I understood. I get it now. I see it. That said, Florence Pugh. What a woman, goddamn.

positive · AI labelView post →We Live in Time is like a mid-tier Richard Curtis movie minus the jokes but nobody told Florence Pugh that. Fascinating to see a performance that’s 10x better than the film calls for
neutral · AI labelView post →We Live in Time is such a funny title. It’s like something Mike Brady would say in the Brady Bunch movie (current reference everyone loves)

neutral · AI labelView post →I’ve many powerful, profound feelings about ‘We Live in Time’. Easily my favorite Florence Pugh OR Andrew Garfield film now, hands down. The rest of the week was filled by some faves, including an overdue rewatch of BBC’s ‘Sherlock’. Laters! #movies #filmsky #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

neutral · AI labelView post →We Live in Time (HBO/Max) extraordinary film about the strength of love, compassion, people facing the most difficult of challenges with great depth; writing, exquisite, performances understated with astonishing gravitas, direction, lean and encompassing, dragged a little, also, Jaffa Cakes- 4.5/5.

neutral · AI labelView post →Talented and passionate people who unfortunately got treated so badly at Sony but later got their own redemption arcs in terms of their careers, Andrew Garfield later went to on star in prestigious movies such as We Live in Time and Tick! Tick! Boom! that really show off his true acting skills.
neutral · AI labelView post →I’m on a long train ride so I downloaded some movies. In the wee hours this morning, I watched “We Live In Time.” What a beautiful film. Not a one of us knows how long we have. What cruelty to spend one moment making life harder for those just trying to survive. To live and to love.
positive · AI labelView post →I contend that “We Live in Time” is the dumbest, most nonsensical and forgettable movie title imaginable, next to the title of that Anne Hathaway Amazon movie (pauses to look it up because it refuses to be memorable) “The Idea of You”
negative · AI labelView post →Just back from cinema trip with a friend. We Live in Time with Florence Pugh & Andrew Garfield. Brilliant film. So sad I now feel like been hit by an emotional steam roller. Sobbing uncontrollably for the last 20 mins of the film. The dog is reluctantly allowing me a cuddle. 🥲

neutral · AI labelView post →Just watched WE LIVE IN TIME. It absolutely messed me up. Beautiful film. Painful in its honesty, but still celebratory and joyous. Delicate balancing act with the structure, but I think they nailed it. Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are generational talents.
positive · AI labelView post →Tonight's late movie is We Live In Time 🍿
neutral · AI labelView post →One thing's for certain: you'll never get me to go and see a film called WE LIVE IN TIME (?) of my own volition. I'm sorry, you wish to inform me that "we live in time" (??), and you're saying that to me over a period of two hours of my own life? No. I would rather put an end to my time
negative · AI labelView post →Trailers: Anora, Conclave, Heretic, We Live in Time Credit to Stan in particular for not lapsing into a caricature, even when the film gets heavy-handed. But you leave thinking, as Dr. Malcolm once said, "that's one big pile of shit."
neutral · AI labelView post →Happy 30th Birthday to the amazingly talented Florence Pugh, Oscar-nominated film and television actress, who continues to make her glorious mark with such films as LADY MACBETH, FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY, MIDSOMMAR, LITTLE WOMEN, A GOOD PERSON, OPPENHEIMER, and WE LIVE IN TIME. #BOTD on 1/3/1996
neutral · AI labelView post →Andrew Garfield really does just break your heart in like every film doesn't he? 😭 (watching We Live in Time)
neutral · AI labelView post →Like, Challengers, We Live in Time, The Substance, and Anora could all be given the golden child narrative, but no, we get that movie shoved at us :/
neutral · AI labelView post →I have many thoughts about We Live in Time, mainly, how *weird* a film it was, and how great Florence Pugh’s pregnancy double’s bottom was, but for now, SNOW in West Norwood!
neutral · AI labelView post →Finally caught up with We Live in Time. Movie is just ok but Florence Pugh was pretty good. Sorry to say that I thought Andrew Garfield gave a shockingly bland performance.

neutral · AI labelView post →Romantic melodrama isn't one of my favorite genres but it is part of a healthy film ecosystem and at least We Live In Time has good performances from Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield with good chemistry. I'm ambivalent about the nonlinear structure, works ok I guess but no surprises because of it 🍿
neutral · AI labelView post →We Live in Time - 10/10 I've laughed, I've smiled, I ain't ashamed to say I cried too... absolutely wonderful film. Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield work so well together and it was an experience to watch this film. It was honestly a beautiful, yet real film, it struck a chord with me.

neutral · AI labelView post →just finished We Live in Time. Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are utterly charming in this beautifully loving and achingly poignant movie. beautiful to look at, and a pleasure to experience. i googled the director's name and realized he directed Brooklyn which i loved also. 5/5 stars
positive · AI labelView post →You know we’re cooked when Variety are calling films like CONCLAVE, CIVIL WAR, and WE LIVE IN TIME “arthouse”. How are we so beyond the pale that because something isn’t a $200m comic book movie it’s considered arthouse? They’re just mid budget films for adults that used to be made all the time.
neutral · AI labelView post →So my first review last year was for a movie called I DID IT MY WAY and my last review last year was for a movie called WE LIVE IN TIME and there's an off-kilter symmetry to those titles I am pretty pleased about. Luck of the draw, eh
