neutral · AI labelView post →My favorite part in Jackie Chan’s 1998 action comedy film Who Am I? is when he stands on the precipice with his arms up and yells “Whoooo aaaaamm iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiee?”
neutral · AI labelView post →Now starting the last film in my Jackie Chan box set, “Who Am I?”. I remember starting this 20+ years ago, but I remember none of it.

Beautifully directed by Jonathan Demme, adapted from the Kurt Vonnegut story, starring Susan Sarandon and Christopher Walken as shy actors who don’t know how to connect beyond their roles in a community theatre production. A great film about the power of art in our lives.

positive · AI labelView post →Me and @magstheobscure.bsky.social have just watched Matthew Jacobs' film Doctor Who Am I, an affectionate and emotional look at Doctor Who fandom and his own role as writer of the 1996 TV Movie. Definitely worth your time if you are into #DoctorWho
neutral · AI labelView post →Saw this German film Who Am I? at TIFF a decade ago, so in some ways it's probably already dated (it's very informed by Anonymous). But it stressed how important social engineering was to their schemes. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who_Am_...
neutral · AI labelView post →Who Am I This Time? (1982) It's a short PBS film in which a very young Susan Sarandon thinks she and her little-theatre costar are falling in love, but the costar (a very young Christopher Walken) is so painfully shy that he can't even speak to her when he's unscripted. Directed by Jonathan Demme.

neutral · AI labelView post →The car chase scenes were awesome! The fight scenes are outstanding! This is probably my favorite Jackie Chan movie. I particularly like the chase scene in the city with the Lancer Evo IV. The whole desert scenario with the rally Montero is hilarious, too! It is capped off with one of Jackie Chan's best fight scenes ever in the end. A must see!
