What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 77 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (142 of 211 positive).
Players enjoy the Wild West theme and immersive mini-games. [1][2][3] Many report bugs like stuck items, delivery chaos, and performance issues. [4][5][6] Some players criticize the developers for lack of updates and communication. [7][8][9]

Don't waste your money. The devs went went silent for about six months. Then amazingly the game was ready for a full launch. Well it's not ready for a full launch. Bugs they claimed that were fixed are actually not fixed. The dev(s) who do answer in the forums always say the same generic answer of yep, we will let the dev team know. Then nothing but crickets. The game itself was a decent enough idea, but still not …

Pros -Historical prices. Like 0,10 or 0,20 or 0,30 for basic products Cons - The game has a lot of bugs. The most important bug is that everything bounces back and forth like a bouncy ball. At this point the game is unplayable. A second bug is that although I can assign one storage shelf or one section of a storage shelf to a single product, my employees can't put boxes with this product on this storage shelf. …

There are... too many 'store simulators' out there. Buy this. Stock this. Sell at the price the game unrealistically asks for, do it all yourself or with some seriously awkward AI. Then after 1 hour, you've seen everything. This game is different. Great immersive mini-games lead into the acquisition of different products. Stocking isn't just a part of the game, it literally follows a clever method to break the …

The negative reviews on this absolute joy of a game is criminal. I bought a bunch of games for the steam sale and I couldn't wait to play all of them, little did I know this game would swallow me whole and make my entire day dissappear. It's an incredibly fun and satisfying little management game where you get to run and decorate your own wild west store. Stocking shelves, ordering inventory, hiring workers, …

So far I really like this game. I've never played any kind of supermarket simulator, but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. I love the Wild West theme. I chose to play historical accurate prices, and that has made it more challenging, but I like that. Note to developer....I would love an option on the screen for buying stock that would show me what I already have in my store and warehouse. Needing to go …

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit: Since my original review, the game appears to have been getting updates (just notably yesterday), but they have not made any news posts or communications since December, which is bizarre. I had to check the last record update on SteamDB to even tell it was getting them. Some of the things I complained about in my post have been addressed - it's obvious these were big issues they realized were problems with the game. That said, the lack of communication around news, updates, patch notes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not a dig at a really fun game. This is actively asking Steam to not support this Developer anymore. They spent 4 months performing updates and then bailed for something new. Halfa$$ developing shouldnt be rewarded with the ability to scam more customers on other games.

Loved the concept — hated the bug that traps me in day 5 forever. Guess my American Dream’s more like a “stuck-in-time” nightmare. 🤠🐴 Follow my curator page for more dusty dreams, ghost towns, and shelf-stacking chaos! 🍷✨ https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/

Updates have been more hype than content, and extremely scarce. Game is being released into 1.0 without being polished and rather than giving us a list of bug fixes and added content for the 1.0 they simply clapped themselves on the back and told us how great the updates they put out were. This team gaslights more than the current Maga administration.…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know what kills this game for me? When you order product, the crates just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fall from the sky and bounce all over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ place. All through EA thats how it was, including 1.0 release. You may not think that's a big deal but on average your ordering product 1-4 times a day, and each time you get to play find where all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boxes bounced to because the Dev didnt have enough foresight to have a delivery area and just stack the crates instead of making it rain boxes from the…

Its hard to advance when you cant play the game. employees will stock a shelf the moment you put it down and no way to label the shelf so the employees don't do it. The customers will check there wrist for a watch that did not even exist in the time period.

We all deserve better. Dont buy this. Its barebones and updates have been minimal. This aint going anywhere anytime soon.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I spent so much time getting the inventory and shelves organized, even managing what items I was on each shelf, just for the NPC I hired to ignore everything. It started out fun, but now I don't know if I'll even keep playing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are a LOT of games like this around. Mostly with the same mechanics with different atmosphere. But I have enjoyed playing this one so far. There are a few things that need to be dealt with by the developers though, as soon as possible. 1 - Sometimes and item will get stuck in your hands. You can't throw it or do anything with it. The only way to get around this bug is to save your game, then reload it. 2 - Package deliveries are a complete mess. When you order stuff, the boxes just fly…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It could be cool, but needs a ton of work, and looks like it's been abandoned as of May 2026. Too much laggy stuttering to the point that I had a headache after 20 minutes, and poorly designed controls just make matters worse. Not worth any price in its current state, and looks like another buyer's remorse early access game for me.

I just bought this game today and very excited to play it but there was a whole bunch of issues with it. lets start with problem number one. #1: the game loaded super slow and keeps saying the game is not responding. problem #2: when the game finaly started up it was really glitchy and the whole game was very shakey. problem#3: I went in to settings and tryed to…

neutral · AI labelView post →If you've ever wanted to know what it feels like to watch paint dry in the year 1850, Wild West Supermarket Simulator is the game for you. The initial novelty of throwing cans of beans onto shelves wears off instantly, leaving you with a boring, repetitive grind that goes absolutely nowhere. There is practically zero depth or content here, and the clunky controls and empty world make the entire experience feel entirely abandoned. It has all the hallmarks of lazy, forgotten abandonware that got…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game, but it definitely needs some work. Customers will bug out and get stuck, NPCs will sometimes T-pose and freeze mid walk animation, the game tends to freeze alot, and sometimes I can't move certain objects. Otherwise, its a nice cozy game to play on a rainy day. Adding weather options would be a fun idea btw . . . and maybe customization for the player in Casual mode? Oh! and maybe consider giving the townsfolks and customers dialogue or let them talk to each other while…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →👍 Recommended After 3.3 hours, I came away pleasantly surprised. Going in, I expected another supermarket simulator. Instead, I found a game that adds enough of its own ideas to stand out. The tutorial was easy to follow, progression felt natural, and there was more to do than simply stocking shelves and serving customers. The license mini-games were a nice change of pace, and being able to invest in other businesses gave the game another layer that I wasn't expecting. It kept introducing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is ok for couple of hours then it becomes way too repetative and devs are asleep and not updating it at all maybe opnce every half a year... **** Also Update after 1.0 if you are looking to buy this game the screenshots are very nice looking... but in game its not the case at all just FYI***
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the ea release of the game has very little added since the demo and zero bug fixes. the lighting as absolutely terrible and the game is barely playable at this stage. Do not waste your money on this game until the developer fixes the glaring issues that makes this game UNPLAYABLE. As much as I want to love this game and I love the idea of it but honestly, I doubt that it will ever make a full release. The developer does not seem to have any pride in their work. So sad. I deeply regret my…

At around 10 bucks, it's definitely the cheaper — and more fun — option. It's been a good game so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the developers are working on.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To the creator I love your game. but their is only one thing that needs fixing and that is the third loading. you can't even play the game because, the third loading takes forever to load. so, at this time my review is a negative one but if you fix this problem than my review could be a postive one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy the sim genre and like the wild west then you will enjoy this game. There's a pretty good range of products that you can carry and decorating the shop is a lot of fun. Its a good amount of fun for a very low price. I hope the game continues to get worked on for years to come, very solid base so far.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's interesting game having challenge mini-games to unlock new products, but the controls just doing anything and moving feel off not good the weird swaying from being at register is weird, I really want to like this game i think it be cool game but like others have said its more of a concept then a real game

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the setting and open map, nice for an early access game. The core game is ok. Hope to see more improvements soon, for instance products needded in the shop by NPCs could be presented in more user friendly way. The shelves with storage could have acctual storage too :) Like the idea of minigames, the town has the potential for more of these. Keep the updates coming :)

neutral · AI labelView post →I love the game.. 10 hours in and still going strong on the realistic prices mode.. there is only 1 issue .. and that is the restocking.. i have noticed that the workers will restock product on any open shelf and that confuses me into buying stuff i already had but was displaced somewhere else.. it makes it difficult keep the store organised.. if there is a way to label a shelf regarding what product can be placed there than that will be awesome.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite competent, well made shop sim set in the old west. Gets you all the basics like ordering goods, placing and stocking shelves, checkout and hiring helping hands for automation. Progression is nice with some occasional minigame activities mixed in for good measure. I wish the town was more lively and dynamic and some of the daily chores are missing some quality of life enhancements. Placing and stocking shelves can become tedious after a while. But overall an enjoyable experience.

neutral · AI labelView post →It has solid potential, but needs more work for a recommendation. Two main things: 1) There is currently relatively little content. The game quickly becomes repetitive and boring. And the achievements are all obtainable within a short timeframe. 2) It's a bit buggy, especially in regards to the employees. They don't even use the warehouse shelves, and restockers can get seemingly stuck. Not to mention, a maxed-out employee will still suck at their job. The NPCs can also bug out about…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Wild West supermarket with absolutely nothing going on I genuinely don't understand how this game is considered finished. If you've played an actual supermarket simulator before, there is almost nothing satisfying about the progression here. You stock shelves, manage your store, unlock things, "expand" and... that's basically it. Growing your store never gives you that satisfying feeling of actually building something. The systems feel shallow and the whole thing gets repetitive incredibly…
