What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 257 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (17,705 of 19,339 positive).
Many players find the game relaxing and charming, with beautiful art and satisfying puzzles. [1][2][3] Some reviewers complain that puzzle solutions are often unintuitive and require guessing the developer's intent. [4][5][6] Several players note the game is short and recommend buying it on sale. [7][8][5]

I’m only giving this game a negative rating because people deserve to see the honest cons—I actually really enjoyed it. It’s a great, relaxing puzzle game with a unique atmosphere, but the bugs (especially in Chapter 5) really hold it back. Some of these issues have been reported on the community tab for over a year without fixes, and the devs seem more focused on releasing DLCs than addressing long-standing …

I didnt play this game. MY WIFE DID! AND YOU KNOW WHAT? SHE LOVED IT! I tucked her in all nice on the couch with a blanket and tea, gave her a forehead kiss and pushed play on this game. She was so happy to tidy up each level and kept saying "awww" while playing. I love my wife and she loved playing this game!

This game is everything I thought it would be. The illustrations are beautiful, the music and sound effects really fit the gameplay, and the puzzles are so fun and creative. I love it! I could play it forever! Can't recommend it enough to people who love puzzles like me. Really charming, what an absolute joy!

what a lovely game!! you can tell it was made with so much love and care. genuinely relaxed me so much. everything from the visuals, sound design and the gentle way the game rewards you are so satisfying and relaxing. def recomend!

Maybe the pictures liked being crooked? It's ok. It's not as relaxing as I expected it to be. It feels like an 80s adventure game where you have to play "Guess what the developer was thinking!" to solve each level. It turns into a weird, cat-based fever dream at the end and it goes from being "tidying" """puzzles""" into quick time events that some might dislike.

positive · AI labelView post →I really really wanted to like this game. For the most part, I do. But i often find myself getting frustrated by how finnicky some of the level solutions are. I've had several levels where I've achieved what the level wants, but it doesn't register that. For instance, with the tupperware level, I had fit everything on the plate but the level wouldn't clear. Ended up having to restart the level, did the same thing and it worked. Maybe it's just a skill issue on my end but it does create more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do appreciate a cozy puzzle game, and a sorting game, however this game is only relaxing until you realize that you have to get into the mind of the developer to figure out what they would think it the solution; including exact position on the page. A few puzzles are super easy and the solution is intuitive, some make sense only to the designers. I strongly dislike having to use the "hint" feature (which isn't a hint so much as the exact solution) on so many puzzles. I planned to finish…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a note for people who want to complete all achievements in one playthrough: there are 2 achievements for playing through the campaign without using hint or skipping level. So you should go for them first before doing "use 10 hints" or "use 10 skips".
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love organising games and puzzle games normally. In theory this game would suit me well. But "A Little to the Left" is too finicky for my taste. The puzzles aren`t difficult. But finding the exact right spot to put the pencils for example is so frustrating. I KNOW what the solution is. But the game doesn´t register that I sorted the items the correct way. No, I need to place them in the exact spot the game wants. But the spots aren`t marked most of the time. So I waste a lot of my time with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know, after seing so many videos about this game I kept my eye on it for a while and it ended up being ... something else compared to what I expected. It's simply not that satisfying, relaxing and amazing as others make it appear in various videos. Not because of its concept, but rather because of the game design. Often you're just left clueless about what is expected of you as a solution, and while many levels make it enjoyable figuring that out - even more make it frustrating. Not…

neutral · AI labelView post →Hear me out, now, I know this is a positive review, but man do I have some gripes with this game. First of all, let me get it out of the way first, the game is fine, it's fun, it's addictive somewhat. I even went out of my way to 100% both it and the DLCs although it was more out of a sense of duty than anything else; I wasn't exactly burning at the prospect of paying more money just so that I'd have a free conscience when complaining about it. Some of the puzzles in this game, -if you could…

neutral · AI labelView post →I do recommend this game, HOWEVER, you should buy it on sale because its a short game and as some people already said in other reviews it was advertised as a organization game when its actually a puzzle game. It is not as satifying as it looks. But I like the cat.

neutral · AI labelView post →I bought this game on sale because I had read that it's fairly small, but even with the discount I feel it's not really worth the price tag. On top of being small (I finished about 2/3rd of the main game before the refund grace period expired, and there seems to be zero replay value), there's just not much gaming to be done. What's supposed to be about tidying up often feel more like trying to guess what the developers wanted you to do. There's a "hint" system, but rather than give out hints it…

neutral · AI labelView post →i so desperately wanted to like this game... i love cozy organizing games, so i love this in concept, but some key details about the gameplay made it more boring/frustrating than anything for me: - for most levels, it has the mobile game feel of "too much downtime". most of the puzzles are very quick to solve - many take less than a minute - and there's a disproportionate amount of time spent in between levels on the loading animations and such. the transitions are cute, but it feels like…

neutral · AI labelView post →3/5 stars Cozy, fun game on the whole. Satisfying to organize things. But it loses points for a few major reasons: 1. Many of the solutions seem arbitrary or incredibly nitpicky. It's not satisfying to be staring at a puzzle you've solved and not know what the game is asking you to do differently. Sure, there's a built-in hint feature, but it's frustrating to use it just to find the "destined" solution for a puzzle that's a little too free-form. Hints should be for when you're stuck figuring…

neutral · AI labelView post →My OCD loves this game. My OCD hates this game. Thumbs down, only because it requires DLC to 100% the achievements.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A little disappointed in this game to be honest. The levels that were focused on sorting trays of bits and similar were nice, but not that many. Achievements are only a few for the base game. Most are DLC etc. A number of other levels had no real direction for sorting and such, just random luck to decide which of many ways you can "order" things. Also the achievement/challenges for doing dailies for many days in a row seems really unbalanced against the fact the base game can be completed very…

You should check them both out!
positive · AI labelView post →This game is supposed to be chill and relaxing, but some levels just feel very unfair. I feel like level management could be done better. I don't think that any level need to be removed from this game, but just by sorting levels by difficulty, instead of seasons would improve game experience, as currently there is one random level what is insanely hard to understand in between of two easy and fun levels from the same theme. Not a big fun of it. But if you ignore everything I said, this game is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Less tidying and more pattern findings. Most levels are trivially easy and can be easily solved in a matter of seconds, you'll be able to beat the entire base game in just 3-4ish hours. Usually, as an advocate of the dollar per hour rule, I would say the price of 14.99 is a bit steep. But having seen how high quality the arts are, and almost none of them are recycled, with their effort I can't really see this game being priced less. I wish it had fewer asymmetry levels, though. Like always,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm sorry to say this, but I'm honestly very disappointed with this game. I'm a huge fan of organizing and was really excited to try it, but what I found was an incomplete experience that simply isn't worth the asking price. I enjoy 100% completing games and was expecting a relaxing experience at my own pace, far removed from the predatory practices that have become common in modern gaming. Instead, I found achievements tied to daily challenges that require logging in for an entire month, as…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sometimes a game just isn't your vibe. This is one of those games for me. It isn't a cosy and relaxing game, to me it is frustrating. - The game plays an audible ping when you place an item in the correct location, which is fine if you're struggling but otherwise when you're moving components around to get a better view of the puzzle you end up accidentally completing parts of the puzzle before you were ready. - There is a cat that pulls puzzle pieces away from you. neutral · AI labelView post →Recommended with an asterisk. The first three chapters are wonderful, highly recommended. However, the final two chapters just aren't great. The game becomes less about relaxing organization and more about frustratingly figuring out what the game wants you to do, which wasn't what I wanted from the game. In addition, half the achievements being locked behind DLC and daily challenges rubs me the wrong way.
