The core idea of the game is arcitecture and design, so your target audience does not want to be impeded by a tedious boring campaign that has no substance. Nobody wants their creative workflow interrupted by needing to go pick up random things up off the ground every 2 minutes or sitting in very boring crafting screens waiting on arbitrary times trying to make 20k. If getting master builder unlocked the golden hammer for creative I could…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically the demo but with more decorations to use. It took me a few hours of playing to complete all the quests and become a Master Builder. I was so excited because the demo was fun, but there's nothing more to it with the full release.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the style and artwork of the game, but I find the building mechanics too frustrating. The issue I have is with alignment. If you are building a custom home and lay out a first floor with rooms it creates a problem for the second floor. The walls of the fist floor stick through to the second floor. Its only the top wooden piece of the wall, but it's a detracting visual. They also don't center a wall on the edge of a floor piece. Walls seem to snap to the inside of the floor edge. So you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hell yuh! This is a unique building game with exploration on the side. The build style is different than most games in this genre. Attach a greenhouse or an atrium to your builds is pretty cool. What i like is that the dormers are hollow and can be attached to a livable room inside the house. Some really good builds can be made here. Looks great and the music is lovely. Very relaxing to play

It has been a long while since the last zine. I have been busy in life, so I could not find enough time to work on it, and I kept pushing the release further and further back. Well, finally I got around and finished it, and here it is. - We have news as usual: open-source, indie, and homebrew news. - An article on…
neutral · AI labelView post →Sadly, I almost didnt get this because someone said it was the same as the demo. That was absolutely NOT the case. Demo was great, but the full game has a lot more than the demo. Full map to explore, character customization, and a lot more building options. Certainly very cozy! Building is also great. Very beautiful looking. Greenhouse building and decorations are all great. Cozy vibe, with great music. Not much to pick apart really. You go through a small campaign of fixing the village…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a little conflicted about how to rate this because on the one hand, there's a lot that's missing and some big issues that need to be addressed. On the other hand, it has huge potential as a cozy building and crafting game and so far the artwork and the mechanics are honestly pretty good for only 2 people working on the game. Pros: Super cute artwork. I really like the style of the artwork both on the characters and the world around it. I've played plenty of these kinds of games and what…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is simply amazing so I'll keep my review simple. This game has capitalized, where the big AAA giants fell flat on their faces. Palia, Satisfactory, No Man' Sky ... All mindless MONKEY-SLAVES to the grind, with creative building only being a SMALL FACET of the game, that gets practically no attention whatsoever. Depressing. So go and join the droning masses grinding for their new shiny pickaxe skin, If you dare; but it's not much of a risk, or a reward... Look at my profile,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game looks like Palia. Very charming first impressions. Peaceful ambiance and great music. You start by fixing the homes of the people in town. To those who want to start building their own home, just move to an empty spot on the land and place a foundation. You can't build near npc homes. I was stuck there for a bit to figure that out. A joy to play and get cozy this fall!

Four more: I *love* this game. My gratitude to the family of three that created it for us; it's so worth its small entry fee and so worthy of the myriad loving accolades it's received so far. Flowering meadows and the faces of the vineyard community are truly beautiful to behold. Well-furnished dream homes are a pleasure to build. Gently animated…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll wait until it gets polished a bit more. I only lasted 5 minutes. Was too frustrating and not fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the quests get very repetitive and annoying; the building aspect is amazing. it's simple and very easy to learn. Some people complain about how long it takes to get material, while i do agree 20k gold is a lot for creative mode, its not hard to collect materials. if you like designing and decorating houses this game is prefect for that. i do hope more recipes, decorations, and able to recolor items gets added soon. pros -cute decorative items -easy to build -cute world -very cozy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit: The quest marker I'm referring to that would be nice to see is *after* you've picked up a quest. Not to find available quests. For the people that down voted this game because they were confused by the gameplay.... there's a demo. I don't have any of the overly buggy issues that some people seem to be having. The game runs smoothly and it's exactly what I expected it to be (probably cause I played the demo). Quest markers on the map would be nice. Plenty of context for where to go,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →thanks devs for adding Keybinding and Character customization to this beautiful cozy game. They were not in the demo when I played it. Great job! I think this is one of the best cozy building games! Easy to get started right away. Music is soo good I wanna get the soundtrack. Please release a soundtrack too

neutral · AI labelView post →I've never had a games building mechanics make me so mad before. On top of that the quests felt so half assed and the whole game was very unfinished. I tried so hard to like this game. Very disappointed!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I only intended to play the first couple houses and accidentally spent 7 hours completely finishing the houses and designing my own home. The grind for money and materials was not difficult at all and added a bit more effort into the game, but once I got the golden hammer I was enjoying it entirely. My ONLY problem is the roofing. The house I had planned out was impossible to build a roof for, so I had to rework the whole upstairs, but other than that, the game is indeed a cozy builder that I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great building game that rewards you for building and decorating. Very relaxing to play. Great music. Anyone who likes building and decorating will love this. Demo is great as well. Thanks for having it out. Some shortcuts were not clear at first (maybe too small on my screen), for example how to move and rotate an item. How to raise an item. I eventually figured it out that you can right click and drag an item to move it :D was easy. Pressing + and - raises or lowers and item. Maybe…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →charming. i love that the materials are provided by the people - not the usual cozy sim games where you have to chop wood and mine stones yourself and work tirelessly w/o the villagers' help the decorations are cute building with the hint is easy p.s. some houses have too many doors. i did not like that
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very relaxing building game. There a feature where it highlights what you can place next, which is helping me learn how to build more intricate builds. Plays well with a controller/on steam deck, but be away that there are no in-game controller glyphs. Overall, I can see myself playing a couple of hours top decorate here an there. Solid decorating game. Control quirks/tips: On controller, be aware that you need to hold LB RB to rotate, not just press. Clicking the right stick allows for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such an adorable game! The land is so pretty and I love how many options there are to make my character. I'm looking forward to fixing all of the townsfolk homes and building my own too.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm only a few hours in to the game. I played the demo and have been looking forward to it's release. I think this game has huge potential. I liked the idea of this game because of the vineyard aspect. I hope in the future that maybe in the future I can run my own vineyard in the game. Maybe give me some crops I can grow, and having a bit of a trading thing going on with the other villagers. I'm really excited about the future of this game, I think it has huge potential. I've been after a new…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cozy Builder is a really lovely and relaxing home-building and decorating game. Even at this early stage of development, it already offers a great variety of furniture, decorations, and creative possibilities. Of course, there are still a few things here and there that could use some improvements, but that's completely understandable given the game's current stage of development. I also really like the idea of making the world feel more alive through quests, rather than focusing solely on…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly? I've played a bit and I like it. I do wish that it was easier to find certain ingredients like onions and nettle, but wine is enough of a money maker and easy to get. The only downside I have is how clunky it feels. I play on steam deck with a keyboard and mouse set up and sometimes it will lag when I turn or just not let me place building pieces. sometimes my character will completely stop moving when I turn my mouse while walking. Besides the bit of clunkiness, it's not bad. It's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the features I enjoyed the most is that Cozy Builder takes place in a semi-open world. This isn't something you come across very often in building games. Here, we can explore the surroundings and discover new things while deciding what we want to do next. Exploration is also connected to gathering. We can harvest and collect different items to sell them later, earn money, and obtain resources. Besides being able to build freely, there are quests to complete and houses that we can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the demo, and was very happy to see that many of the features I wanted were added in the full release. I feel some people want a House Flippers with a budget price tag. The game is not going to give that, but it is still very fun. I prefer building in this game compared to House Flippers (I understand that is a personal preference). I also love that you basically have a whole island to build on (just cross the river). A few things that I would like to see addressed: 1. Getting…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great building game. You make very high quality builds. Visually pleasing like Tiny Glades but you can decorate inside and rp. Fun to play with family. Cook, play house etc.for hours I also played the demo, and the Full game has a lot more than the demo. Tons more decorations and a lot bigger map area to explore. Definitely recommend this just from how good it looks and it is multiplayer!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a sweet and cozy builder. Lots of fun. Building houses is reminiscent of HF or Palia, but simpler and quicker. Lots of interior decorations and plants. No hard work to gather resources - most are provided for you - just pick them up! Other things like crops you just walk to the few places and harvest a few of the crops. There is a sandbox mode after all the homes are built. The map is not so large that it takes too much traveling. A stress free delight all around!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is incredibly cute and definitely cozy. Smashed the achievements pretty quickly. The one thing I will say is the trader doesn't really give a fair amount for the work you do for items. I am a huge fan of farming but I think the cash out, especially on the three star wines. Outside of that, its a blast!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its REALLY cozy. Dont expect any battle or stress in here, it ain't that king of game at all. You build and rebuild a little town. I've built everything in 3hours. Could be better but it's an awesome little game if you want to think about nothing and just let your building extinct build. There is a little wineyard story but not much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+1 for being a co-op builder. Was waiting eagerly for this one when I played this in next fest. I am a builder contractor in RL and building never gets old for me. This game has potential for some great looking builds. Big positive for me is that I am not bothered by monsters and storms when building in here. Peaceful and relaxing. Can't wait to explore further
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cozy building game. Just wish it would show controller buttons to press when playing with a controller. Instead it keeps showing the keyboard keys as input. That's the only con I have.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →True to the name Cozy Builder beautiful artstyle. Fly cam and ability to customize keys for Fly Cam was a plus for me. I like that there are things to do alongside building. While the sandbox building is very relaxing (and good looking!) it is nice to have some side things like treasure hunting and quests to change it up with no pressure of any kind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cozy and fun game! I enjoy building and decorating alot, and this game is perfect for that!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved the demo when I played it before. Full game is a treat to have. So many building and decorating options omg. Game looks fantastic. I always like that live in feel in building games. Most dont let you go inside, and this one lets you play house to your heart's content! Love it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pleasure to play! Very cozy, charming, and musically well defined. These are my first impressions, and I can already see myself getting lost in this for hours and end decorating. Very excited!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#4. Cozy Builder A slightly more historical (architecture) builder/repair game where you are tasked with rebuilding houses destroyed during a hurricane. Get quests from NPCs, gather materials, repair houses to specifications, and decorate them to your heart's content. I wasn't a fan of this one...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very little content, but nice work for a family of 3. However, why did they make it that when we remove one piece of the wall, the whole ceiling has to go too? I recommend the game because there's no bug, of course if you think that animals walking "through" the character is not a bug, but a skill of the said animals. And if you think it's normal for a human being to simply keep walking as if they didn't need to jump over a high wall of rock. The price is maybe a bit high for such a simple…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was really bad for me. I kept clipping through the terrain and getting stuck in underground oceans everywhere I went.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super cozy and lots of fun. I needed more key binding abilities and they were very prompt with adding them so I could play. Looking forward to many more updates!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a low key game. It's well done, a few quirks here and there, but overall runs smoothly. The game play is interesting and building the houses is entertaining and not too challenging.

neutral · AI labelView post →Overall, the game is a relaxing open world sandbox building experience. I enjoyed building with a different architecture style vs other games in the building genre. The storyline quests do feel a little bit light, but they show players where to quest for/collect materials for ongoing gameplay. Fixing the NPC houses was a mixed experience for me. It felt like being fully guided through solving each step of a puzzle. I did enjoy seeing how the houses look as pieces fell into place. However, it…
