What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 92 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (128 of 134 positive).
Players love the intuitive controls and sandbox for building marble tracks. [1][2][3] The game is praised for its cozy, therapeutic feel and low system requirements. [4][5][6] Some reviewers note missing quality-of-life features and physics issues. [7][8][9]

Truly awful. The game lacks quality of life features, such as snapping to align with the next platform unless you're specifically on the same level as it or touching it, but my biggest complaint is the physics. The balls will frequently just stop. Try to travel from a rail to a pipe? Blocked. Try to enter a circular elevator? Blocked. The physics just seems rubbish. Take the cannon as an example. You try setting it …

Perfectly scratches that "I love watching Jelles Marble Runs, but I'm certainly not talented enough to make creations like this" itch! With the sandbox provided, it feels like i can envision something i would like to make, and enough tools to create that vision! Probably helps that my vision isn't that wide in scope! Music is super chill, challenges are fun to attain (would be fun to see more added eventually too), …

Some kids had THOSE toys growing up, marbles, wooden blocks with the ones with the divots for the tracks. This game is a love letter to the art of building marble tracks, and you can do even do marble races w/ twitch integration. I love the design details like scaffolding being blocks and the (standard) environments feeling like a cozy living room. The piece variety is excellent, a lot of classic marble tropes are …

Feels good, looks good and has a decent UI and tutorial. It's mostly sandbox, but there are a few challenges to complete. That way you can earn some tickets that let you buy new parts to build with and funny hats for your marbles. Performance is also good, even on my i7 6700k which is below the minimum spec. I did not try huge maps from the workshop tho. All pre-installed maps run fine. On the downside: building has …

The game is nice and chill. It's exactly what it claims to be: build tracks for the marbles, launch them, and set up marble races. The system requirements are low, and the graphics and sounds are nice. There's a sort of progression system where you can earn new building parts and cosmetics. You can share your builds through the Steam Workshop, which is a perfect solution for those who don't feel like building from …
Summarised from 34 of the 126 public posts collected about this game; every point cites the posts behind it ([n] opens the post) and the split is counted from the posts’ own ratings. Updated Oct 13, 2026. How summaries are made
95% of the 92 Steam reviewers we collected recommend Cozy Marbles. The complaint that keeps coming up: lacks quality-of-life features like mirror mode. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My balls are going crazy to find the hole. A super packed game for fans of the genre. I didn't have the patience to create complex tracks, but if that's your thing, you're going to love it. BALLS.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very fun game I love how you can mess around with all the stuff that your given and having the ability to make your own marbles is a really cool idea. If the developer sees this I really want them to add more fun stuff like buttons, switch tracks, pinball items like flippers, and a loop
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for Christmas in 2021 from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The course builder is easy to learn with an interface that feels detailed enough to get you used to the mechanics without it feeling overwhelming. Customising your tracks with different colour schemes as well as using your own made marbles really adds that extra touch of uniqueness to the courses, which I liked a lot! In-game challenges provide ways to earn tickets to buy new environments, playsets, track pieces, and customisable items/colours for custom marbles. This is great as it means you…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've always been an enthusiast of any and all things related to marble runs and marble run creation, and among all the marble run sandbox games I've played and/or looked into, Cozy Marbles definitely has a lot of advantages over its competitors. While games like Marble World definitely have way more tools, track pieces, and their customization is way more free-form than Cozy Marbles, the latter of these is a bit more structured and modular by comparison, leaving little room for track…

neutral · AI labelView post →Incredibly therapeutic with an ever-expanding toolset with many hidden options within. This is a wonderful experience if you have ever had a history building ball machines or marble runs when you were younger and are looking to scratch that itch. Very easy controls and really easy to pick up moving around and snapping pieces together, I have yet to have any headaches with the control system or building mechanics.

neutral · AI labelView post →My thanks to @brakkaquilltusk.bsky.social for the suggestion of Cozy Marbles, and for @jauntiej.bsky.social for testing the game in response. As it does not seem to be a viable option, I have return to my roots with Moobot for this specific application.
neutral · AI labelView post →A really fun little marble run and race maker that does exactly what it says on the tin. It doesn't have the depth or complexity of some others, but it wins out with a much more friendly interface that doesn't feel like you're positioning meshes in a game engine. It would benefit from some more blocks, but it's a lot of fun as is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the game so far, scratches that specific itch in my brain, I just wish there were more big pieces that fit together or you could maybe modify them. Also that supporter pack message will not go away. I have restarted 10 times, still stuck on my screen.

neutral · AI labelView post →I genuinely think if I let my guard down I could lose the rest of my life to this game. While I can obviously praise the visual and sound design, I was particularly impressed by how borderline perfect the controls were. It's very hard to make placing objects in a 3d space as smooth and intuitive as this game does. Kudos.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Object placement is way too restrictive, even when you tweak settings. It's impossible to get really weird with it, and often even basic ideas are frustrating to get to work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game that I can let the kids play too. It's both fun and easy making tracks, and downloading some amazing ones others did on the steam community. I was fine with the gradual unlocking of the marble and track pieces as it got me accustomed to trying out other ideas and pieces that I probably normally wouldn't have. The only problem I had with the game was the inability to hide the names of the marbles during a race, but that has been fixed with the latest update. I recommend it if you're…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanks to everyone who joined me for Cozy Marbles. That's a fun game. I don't expect to build anymore levels in it, but I'll certainly check in with what gets added to the workshop. Archive will be up tomorrow!
positive · AI labelView post →I love this game personally, but I have a few suggestions for building. 1. RAILING SETTING FOR ALL PATHS 2. A pause button for when you are starting a marble run I really enjoy this game and you should too :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am having such a good time playing this game. I've been looking for a slower paced game for MONTHS trying to just relax for a while. This is definitely it. There is so much to do I can feel my little monkey brain working. I like the shop system because it encourages you to really dive into the game without it feeling like you HAVE to grind achievements. The game is plenty playable without the shoppable items. I'm obsessed with silly marble racing online, so getting to make my own little races…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know you want it. Just get it! It's awesome!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely love this game, i streamed it a day after release and it was super fun racing with my viewers. For future updates id love a replay mode to see where and how the marbles are falling off my tracks and also a speed up button for faster simulations.Plus more fun stuff obvi. Overall perfect cozy game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a good game, its cozy and fun. Its a sandbox game, where you build tracks and other things and watch marbles run down the tracks. Its overall great, but i feel like there's a lot of "QOL" quality of life, missing, there's a bunch of small stuff you might get frustrated with, like it having no mirror mode, big tracks only going slightly down or slightly up and having no straight option for it. There's a bunch of small things that gets on my nerves. Other than that, its a great game.

neutral · AI labelView post →Cozy Marbles from @pixelpeagames.bsky.social looks to be the coziest marble racing / track creator on Steam and it looks very promising with Twitch and Workshop integration in the full release. I can't wait to see how this game looks on full release!

neutral · AI labelView post →I just love this game! Usually I prepare myself for dissapointment when trying a new game that I looked forward to but this game did not let me down. It has all the options, - Racing or just casual marble run. - You can build marble dispensers and set it to a timer(something that I did not expect at all) - You can create your own marbles!!! with many customization options to make it your own. - The more you play the more tickets you get to unlock all the parts of which there are many…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cozy Marbles is fun. You might like it if you like other marble games. I am playing it through Crossover on my Mac, if you're wondering how I'm playing this game. Now, if you really REALLY want to get this game, just like I did, then DO IT!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zabumafu was my SHIT!!!! YEAH! THE KRATT BROTHERS! Ok right now it's between Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Cozy Marbles. Of all time? Tonka Construction, but it wont run on a modern PC.... Tonka Construction 2 does but that game is stinky poo poo garbage! COUNTER Q: You ever shop at Hot Topic?
neutral · AI labelView post →It's such a joy to just make fun marble runs and watch them roll. It's missing a few deeper customization options but for what you get, it's a lovely pickup.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this to play with my son, but we both lost interest after about 10 minutes of finishing the tutorial
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who really loved marbles as a child. This game is pretty good at satiating my marble tism.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →little bit too addictive, but fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my new favourite game. I can get lost for hours trying new combinations. The mechanics are intuitive and easy, unlike some other marble builders I've tried. This is by far my favourite, though I'd like to see more pieces added.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Exactly like those childhood toys I used to have, but even cooler with even more possibilities and stuff.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Core Concept, But Needs Controller Support Cozy Marbles is a delightful, relaxing physics sandbox that nailed its core premise with charming track customization and satisfying marble runs. However, the current control scheme holds it back on portable setups. As someone who primarily plays with a gamepad—frequently on handhelds like the Steam Deck or via mobile setups with a physical controller attached—having to rely on touch controls or mouse emulation takes away from the experience.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game and cozy atmosphere 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is a perfect example of doing exactly what it says on the box. Its very easy to pick up and learn, its easy to control, there is a lot of fun little gimmick pieces, it runs smooth as butter, and you're in the game within seconds after clicking play. Its quickly apparent that our own imagination is going to be the only primary limiting factor here outside of the limits of the playing space. Add in the fact it has Steam Workshop integration and it really is an easy win here for the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the game! It's amazing, but I'm bummed that there is no custom color option for each pattern of marbles. It would be really cool. Other than that just a few medium pieces, extra cosmetics (I would even buy a reasonably priced DLC for cat ears, and new track colors like Sakura, and of course some decorations along the tracks. And what I really miss, is just slopes and straight areas without any rails or guards to do endurance/survival challenges. I can recommend the game if you are…
