Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 188 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (499 of 602 positive).
Many reviewers note the game has a very low player count, making online play difficult. [1][2][3]

I am a player who has completed all achievements in this game, placing me in the top 1% in terms of playtime and dedication (as of January 2026). Despite that, I cannot recommend this game to my friends. Reasons: 1. Too many unresolved bugs Players can respawn on traps, under the floor, or outside the map. These bugs have existed since 2024 and remain unfixed even in 2026. 2. Extremely unfriendly to new players Most …

Game needs marketing, console releases, and cross-play matchmaking. Idk why it's only on PC and has barely any online presence. But apart from that this game is honestly fun even just vs bots. Really smooth mechanics and great art. Solid buy, especially on sale.

A fast, fun sprinter/racer by Sumo Digital, a company that certainly knows how to make those (the Sonic kart games, Outrun 2 and C2C, various Forza titles, and more), but this is unfortunately weighed down by too many bad decisions. The biggest one being trying to make this a multiplayer/live service thing. Of course that didn't work, it never works for smaller/indie games, and the game has been averaging about 5 …

I bought this game at launch and while this game really doesn't have a lot of players, my god is it a blast. Probably one of the more niche racing games I have ever played but also one of the hardest to put down. It isn't perfect by any means and I wish the developers would be a little more active, but what you get is a very original and unique concept. To me this game feels like Mario Kart with murder in the best …

I had an absolute blast playing this game, but a lack of a playerbase has you matching up against the same people and bots for eternity. I think I actually enjoyed the single player time attack mode more than the online races. 10/10 gameplay and fun factor 6/10 network stability (lag issues) 1/10 players to play with

neutral · AI labelView post →This a really fun arcade racer, but it is headed for death for afew reasons. 1. The new player experience isn't just bad, it's awful. The only people playing this game are people who have been playing sense day one, they will pummel you and the game also lags like hell. 2. The single-player offerings are pathetic, you get around 20 extremely strict time trials, that's it, no racing against bots, no campaign. 3. It has a really cool setting and world, and they are doing nothing with it. Why the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun. Simple. Visually beautiful. It's similar to mario kart but gory. However I should say that I hate the presence of an EULA, whatever its reasons might be. I paid the price, I just want my game. I don't like to deal with legal jargon getting between me and something as simple as gaming. Also, I appreciate the controller support. It's good to have but I would love for the game to be optimized for the Steam Deck so I could make use of it. It works on the deck, but not very well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's fun, i love the idea, and I haven’t played anything like it before, but this can be better. first of all the terrible optimization, when i'm near the other runners the frames drop from 120 frames to almost 40 and that's not me problem, i scrolled down the game forums to see other people complain about the bad performance near other runners. and the connection is really bad, i think my ping is moderate considering other games i play. well it's either that or the hitboxes are just nuts.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is nice, but it has been abandoned by the developers, you cant play offline, and you no longer can play more than one type of race (as of September). to the game developers: why not add more multi-player racing with different styles, instead of just the current two? also why not allow people who bought the game to play it over LAN locally?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1st of all there are no new players in this game. i played like 10 matches and in all of them everyone was at least level 25. 2nd the game is unfun thanks to that pay to win saw attack that instantly kills players. a saw apears on the map killing everyone within 0,3 sec. a human brain isnt fast enough to see and dogde that ahh saw
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game that no one is playing. Need something to build upon. clubs, prestige or something. but you need people to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wouldn't currently recommend this to my friends. It's got the casual nature of mariocart with a sweaty coat of paint. You'll be in first, get hit by one attack, then will basically get sent all the way back to last and granted a quick suit of shame. The middle of the pack is very chaotic while the front and back are uneventful which I believe to be the fault of how punishing each ability is. The game is breakneck speed and gives you a lot of options for agency and expression through movement…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who chiefly plays single player games: yup, that tracks. I've played Cyberpunk 2077, Nioh, Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2, the list goes on. All on Linux, no issues. In fact, over the past two years the only game that absolutely refused to run is an obscure title called DeathSprint 66.
negative · AI labelView post →Very cool game, plus the dev gave LOADS of keys to support charity so deserves huge kudos.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great idea, Unfortunately it went pass to many people to keep the game alive
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very good game, similar to SpeedRunners, great potential, unfortunately due to system requirements I had to return it, it’s not the fault of the developers, my hardware is less than required, maybe I’ll come back to it, I wouldn’t want it to be abandoned.

neutral · AI labelView post →Already I really like the gameplay mechanics, and enjoyed playing the tutorial. However, this performance is so bad its mind boggling. At 4K, highest settings, without any upscaling (like FSR or DLSS), my FPS is in the 30 to 40s. That is unacceptable, considering my system's specs, and the graphical quality of this game (which isn't the best). This is a game that forces you to use FSR or DLSS to even get a good framerate. Optimize your damn game guys.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool idea, but I don't have to play it for long to see there's some troubles with the execution. Aside from the elephant in the room - the game being mostly PVP with a PVP centered progression but no playerbase - the controls just aren't it. They feel tight, which is good, but they are also slippery at the same time, leading to some disconnects to what you think should happen (particularly when drifting) and what happens on the screen, leading to many deaths. High speed feels cool in this game,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a lot of fun. The concept is really cool, and it plays exactly how you'd want it to. That said, it's still missing some pretty important features. For example, there doesn't seem to be a way to race only with friends. As far as I can tell, you have to join an open online lobby, which means you'll end up racing against random players who are often much higher level. There's also no option to turn off items. If you don't enjoy having your entire race ruined by someone pressing the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WORST GAME I PLAYED IN 2025: DEATHSPRINT 66 How do you ruin FZero Parkour? Well, you start with wonky controls, mix in some over-long start/death cutscenes, a dash of insta-kill, a pinch of stingy time limits (also insta-kill), & finish it off with bad onboarding & distracting neon-vomit visuals.
negative · AI labelView post →Its like if mario kart had worse controls and you just kinda died alot out of no where. I legit cant explain how i got first, last, or how i died the majority of the time. Some mechanics dont really make sense, like the life system. I have 5 lives but not really because i can die more than 5 times and keep racing? whats the point of lives then.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't think there's a lot of Mario Kart -esque racers out there and while the theme is very different there's a lot of that DNA here. I haven't run into any glitches, the gameplay is fun, game seems appropriately priced. Get it if you and your friends need something to hop into and trash talk about.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →unoptimised game... its a good base for what could be an interesting and fun concept, however the execution here is absolutely terrible and i wouldn't recommend it in its current state, not enough single player content to be interesting and the online pvp is filled with bots unoptimised not fun and overall immensely frustrating to play
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fine concept but am disappointed in the implementation. The good: feels like someone took those moments from Warframe where the mission objectives are long since finished and you're just speedrunning to extraction trying to informally compete to see who can get there fastest, and asked "how can we make that a whole game?" The bad: omits a lot of the skill-based nuance involved with more freeform parkour systems such as Mirror's Edge or Warframe, instead bringing in enough arcade racing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the way the game starts out. No agendas, good music, cool atmosphere and unique gameplay, but that timer is way too short. Basically if you don't clear everything in SECONDS you fail.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I received this game as part of a charity collection. During the tutorial, the movement felt decent, but playing an actual map was very different. The traps and layout of the tracks made the movement, particularly the turning, feel arbitrary on whether or not your character actually wanted to turn the way you directed it to, even while drifting. EDIT: I was playing on CONTROLLER as the dev tried to say I should be, and that made no difference at all. To make matters worse, there are no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly competitive, super duper friendly community and all are here to help each other out. An absolute blast to play solo and with friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the game wish they optimized it more for the steam deck though
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game needs more marketing. I've never heard of it and got a key for it from a bundle. So far I'm loving the game and aesthetics. Looks like community likes it as well, but this game DEFINITELY needs a lot more marketing

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, if you love fast-paced games, such as GhostRunner. It is quite challenging, though. It takes a few tries (by "a few" I mean at least 50) to finish some tracks. Game is not described as rogue-lite, but in my opinion it kind-off is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I suck at this game, but I'm in love with it. I'd highly suggest not playing this game so close to bedtime, LOL. I'm saving this one for later. A ton of fun!!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Run. Buzzsaw. Run more. Hit mine. Run to catch up. Gigasaw. Run to catch up after being bisected. Shield. Take first place. Fall off map because you had too much momentum. Still get top three anyway. Rinse and repeat until you lock in and suddenly hit ten wins back to back.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →AWESOME!!! Very challenging, especially in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it. It's a great game to blow off some steam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played a match for the first time, ended up going so fast I started convulsing on the floor. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'M FAST AS F*** BOYYY This feels like a spinoff game from the ghostrunner series, and I mean that in the best way possible. Fun gameplay, intense racing, mild learning curve but worth the effort. I hope this takes off more and doesn't fizzle out like some other cool concept multiplayer games I've played time and time again. Huge potential, I hope the devs keep at it and bring out more cool content!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tilt machine for me... im too old :/
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →only got 37 minutes so far but it is genuinely one of the most fun experiences i've had on a racing game. the game is difficult and you will suck at first, but if you like racing games i think you will really enjoy it and it is worth it for the current sale price of $6.79
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really fun, but also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard. Not eldenring ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard, but more or less skill issue. Yeah, I'm bad but I still like the game. Running this game, you don't know what you'll run into: is it death, victory, or possibly others? Whether it's running into a meat grinder, death star lasers, or forgetting to jump, you still got to worry about others pushing you in. If you're not on the edge of your seat, you're not really playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe I should have given the game more time. Regardless, the momentum felt weird and overall clunky.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and unique feeling racing game that doesn't try too hard to be too much, nice visuals, good performance, keep ray-tracing off and you'll always have great performance. Deaths don't feel too punishing, kills are satisfying, and the short length of races makes losses feel unsubstantial while keeping wins satisfactory. There are some bugs, mostly odd map killboxes or power-ups not working as intended, but they're uncommon enough to not ruin the experience, and the devs seem on top of updating…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Death Sprint 66 is fresh and fun new take on how a racing genre can be innovative. Fast pace action, and quick matches. Coupled with the bizarre and creative dystopian humor that the game presents is just awesome. Highly recommend this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DeathSprint 66 is a fun take on the typical kart racer, and if anything it reminds me of the PS2 classic racing game Kinetica which I have fond memory of. Instead of playing as a vehicle, you play as a "Clone Jockey" which are basically just expendable humanoid clones dressed up in a mech suit. As a Clone Jockey, you spawn in a racing course where instead of racing in wheels, you run at breakneck speed while parkouring and avoiding death traps while picking up power ups and boosts. Its pretty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game died before it could ever take off. Was fun for a couple weeks but every online match was a pick between 5 maps it felt like and everyone just kind of disappeared after a while. Every lobby is bots now and it lags worse than when I was playing with actual people. Overall it was fun but got old quick.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mario Kart for adults game. Fast good controls with great gore in it. Movie material for this one. High hopes for the future...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controls horribly, level design is bad, online is full of bots, and sounds pretty bad. It runs well at least
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome as hell!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept is there. But the movement and control is absolutely not. I want to feel weightless playing a running game with super smooth motions as a priority. This feels "heavy" and maybe a bit more realistic in the physics element for me to actually lean in and have a blast mindlessly. The first few games was a learning curve and the remainder of my time playing was filled with desperation to convince myself I was having fun. From someone who followed the development of this game when it was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Superb game that tests your reflexes, futuristic bloodsport racing in a Cyberpunk setting. Highly recommended. PvP mode is where its at though, quick match times and so much fun! This game is so underrated!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was skeptical of the negative reviews of this game at first, I wanted to give this game a chance and form my own opinion on it— this is a highly intriguing concept, just very much poorly executed, movement mechanics, while fun, also tend to be very slippery- as in the physics are VERYYY off compared to what they should be- it's as though all surfaces are ice- It's very easy to slide off the map even when you know EXACTLY where you are going - don't even get me started on the first PvE…
