What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 66 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (205 of 225 positive).
Players find it a fun party game but widely criticize the high price. [1][2][3][4] Many recommend waiting for a sale before purchasing. [5][3][4][6] Some reviewers note technical issues like slow pace and freezing. [7][6][8][9]

can only recommend this to people who love demon slayer enough to willingly get scammed by that price tag. it IS fun and the whole 'no one to play with thing' is not an issue for me because you can play against the ai but i cannot justify spending what they're asking for. this was a guilty pleasure buy and i have zero delusions about getting my money's worth.

It's actually pretty fun! However the price tag is wayyy too unreasonable(should be $20 or $30) for a game that has re-used assets from the arena fighter! They do have new and updated models though which is appreciated which may just be them using this game to build assets for the next arena fighter prob around when the demon slayer finale movies come out.

Low key a good game that went incognito. It's just like everyone said, it's Mario Party on PC but as Demon Slayer. It has Single player (offline) and Multiplayer (online). The NPC/CPU difficulty level comes in 4 Level, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hashira (Rigged to NPC favor mode). Wait for Sales out of 10, the price isn't worth it

I haven't played a single Mario party game so this would it for me. The game is slow and I wish it was faster especially in solo mode, which BTW finding a game online is impossible, because who wants to spend $60 on a $40 game? Only reason I bought it in a first place is my love for Demon Slayer. Anyway the game's RNG for me is INSANE! While all the CPU's constantly get high rolls on their dices, I always end up …

Recommended on sale for fans of Demon Slayer, anime, and party games like Mario Party. There really isn't a lot of competition which makes it one of the better games in its genre. As a party game on its own it is rather well done, with voice acting, some animated scenes, boss battles, and all the expected party board game elements. +Visuals +Variety of characters (14) +Variety of boards (6) with unique elements …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fans who have the conditions can support and buy it immediately, otherwise wait for a discount. This game is a relaxing and simple game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ok, this is a very steam deck game for me, pretty solid for just passing the time, flexible saves too... just the price, oh the price is too much

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This company needs to make better decisions ! Not worth the full price tag, i got it for Switch when the game first came out and not many people were playing it and the online matchmaking is terrible... the only way you'll be able to play consistently with others is if you are playing with friends. They also updated the rules for online matchmaking to where it went from 15 turns to 5 turns per game which is way too fast for one game, you should be able to change the amount of turns mid match…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest, it's 100% different than Mario Party, it doesn't feel like a direct clone at all! It's like if you combined Mario Party Superstars and Super Mario Party together. Also the store page didn't say anything about a pre-order bonus and yet I got one after pre-ordering the game, -1 for the store page screw up. I'd give this game an 8/10, it ain't perfect, but it's still good! I'd also like to point out that you don't need to be a Demon Slayer fan or watch the anime to understand this…

"This game is a charming anime board game that excels in character engagement but is hindered by slow pace and technical issues. Best enjoyed with friends, it's worth considering for fans of the series" Intro : Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! invites players into the captivating world of Demon Slayer, reimagined as a virtual board game.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dont normally like to review games until i have put at least 5-10 hours in to it but i wanted to do this one early since i think its not getting enough credit. I was really blown away by how much i have enjoyed this game. In my opinion this is a better party game then Mario party. I have played several Mario party knock offs but this game does it the best. For starters i should say that i have put alot of time into mario party over the years. This game changes some aspects while still keeping…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Important note: I have played for 50+ hours on Switch. Ignore the playtime at time of writing. Sweep the Board is more than just a "Mario Party clone." It has its own unique features and charm. The game is broken down into a day/night cycle. You go to Katsuki Crow spaces to progress the cycle and gain points. The player with the most Slayer Points win. At night you fight demons, you get extra Slayer Points based on your performance. Each demon has a mini game that requires you to time…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fine for what it is The obvious comparison is Mario Party. I think some of the boards aren't super cohesive, but honestly I was expecting worse for a licensed game that's clearly a clone of another game $60 is awfully steep though. You gotta really want to play this considering there's far cheaper alternative for a casual, anime inspired board game simulator
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a fun game I play with my kids on game night. Picked it up on steam so we can play while we are apart. This board game is fun with tons of fun mini games. Here's hoping they add new DLC after Infinity Castle releases in theaters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We didn't get to play a single game all the way through, every game froze half way. Do not buy poorly optimized game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like the game, great mario party alternative with some cool features. However there is one major problem. NIGHT MODE. i just had a 10 turn game be 9 turns in a row stuck in night mode, which means NO MINI GAMES. so extremely boring and slow when this kind of thing happens. Honestly why is night mode and day mode a thing, just have a single space like bowser space that is the demon fight.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good "Mario Party replacement" for PC , fun with friends / family.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Delightful game if you can catch it on sale, I bought it both for Steam and Switch. As a person who abhors how long mario party takes, this feels much faster in terms of rounds. Also the day and night mechanics adds some fun spice since it also affects the mini games you play. The game also just points you in the most efficient route which again, makes rounds much faster. Most mini games are not team based either which I think also helps with the frustration. FREAKING SUCKS THAT YOU CAN'T…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! is a visually faithful adaptation of the popular anime, presented in a digital party board game format. The game successfully captures the series' aesthetic with beautifully rendered environments inspired by iconic locations like the Mugen Train and Swordsmith Village. Character models are detailed and instantly recognizable to fans of the show, and the original voice cast enhances the authenticity in both Japanese and English. The music…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dreadful gameplay, abhorrent graphics, I'd rather play JJK curse clash
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR - A bit pricey if I'm going to be honest, Remote Play Together as an option would be nice because not everyone could afford this type of game in the moment. Overall optimization could save the game at certain points. Still however a pretty solid party game even if you don't know the source material, knowing the source material makes the cosmetics, visuals, & boards feel rewarding on its own. Pros: Solid & Inspired Gameplay that actually works well, Solid Item choices (varying from what…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly recommend for fans of the series BUT only can recommend if you have friends to play with as everyone will enjoy and appreciate this demon slayer themed Mario party game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! is a solid alternative party board game for platforms outside of Nintendo, where it doesn't get Super Mario Party, but in terms of the quality of the minigames, the challenges provided, and the creativity that emerges, it is still far behind. If you love the Demon Slayer anime or manga and want to play it with friends, companions, and family on the weekends, then this is a solid game to play together. If you're looking for a story or challenges,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of fun playing with a friend. ♥♥♥♥ can get really intense! Though, buy it at a discount. For -70%, it's worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried to buy this when it was 50% off, I played it for 45 minutes. Very boring. Although I played offline alone against bots. The bot runs slowly even though it is set fast. As a result I refunded. Even though I am one of the fans of Demon Slayer. REFUNDED
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring and slow game. I really wanted to like the game, because it's Demon Slayer - but no chance. After 4h I tried to refund, but this didn't work of course.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun but better with a lot of friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game, I have so many laughs playing it with my wife, so many maps and mini games, although the gameplay is a bit unfair at times and feels purely luck based.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reminds me of Mario Party
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't had this much fun playing a party game in a while. I love how I can be my favorite character and the elements of teamwork are refreshing in the aspect of working together to kill the greater demon. It's fun to try and win while working together. I like the mini games, they're not too hard and you're able to practice beforehand. I do wish they'd add more demons to the maps to add variety. I also would like dlc to add more outfits for the characters though that's just my love of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very similar to Mario Party, highly recommend playing with friends in order to maximize enjoyment of the game. There are many Demon Slayer characteristics that are imbued into the game, which make it fun for Demon Slayer fans to enjoy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is really a fantastic game for what it is. Fully voice acted and full of charm. I also feel like for a Mario Party-style game, it has some pretty unique mechanics. The day night cycle makes the game move quickly and the battle mechanics are really unique and fun with friends. Definitely worth the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Guys wake up, PEAK just dropped!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →genuinely a very fun game to play, 60 bucks is WAY too expensive though, got this game at a 70% discount and with that it felt like a normal price. but this has become easily a top 5 favorite game for me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey, this would have been a great opportunity to add characters like Aoi, and even Makio, Hinatsuru, and Suma as separate playable characters. It would have been really really cool, especially since their models all exist. I don't think it's still getting updated but if you do, I would love that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is really like Mario party! I love it! The skill training games are fun and there are a lot of them, the animation is good and the voice acting is nice! I am so glad I was able to get this game! I highly recamend this game if you like Mario party and anime.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →complete garbage money grab trash. unbelievably bad. Do not buy. It's so badly made and has nothing to do with demon slayer. There are like 3 mini games total and they repeat non stop.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wished more people would've play online
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PLAY THIS GAME! ALL OF YOU THAT PLAY KIMETSU NO YAIBA THE FIGHTING GAME! PLAY THIS GAME! GET TENGEN'S WIVES ON RELEASE OF KIMETSU NO YAIBA THE FIGHTING GAME 2!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Demon slayer Mario party?? Yes please!! 🩶🩶😭😭
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love playing as Mui and just absolutely dominating the mini games :> !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →BEST BOARD GAME over priced tho i think 75 dollar would be ok this is to much lmao
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game and I love the story progression for the boards.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is enjoyable overall and provides a good experience at first. However, the AI-controlled players lack challenge and frequently make unrealistic or illogical decisions. In addition, the content feels limited, which makes it difficult to stay engaged for an extended period. Get it only at a discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are a diehard fan of Demon Slayer and like the Mario Party games, this is a decent game. It is overpriced, though. I would not pay full price for the content that you get.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great family and friend couch gaming fun, it’s becoming a nightly routine for my wife and I.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GET THIS INSTEAD OF MPJ
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bit expensive but the developers are producing new maps and games. A bit childish/easy, but it can be fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love Demon layer and this was such a fun way to enjoy the franchise with friends!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better than Hinokami Chronicles and it's not even close lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Skid Toilet good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →w Rather spend 60$ than buy a mid console for original
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, it's actually a pretty decent and great game. However, the biggest flaws lie within the netcode, which unfortunately this company has a reputation for having, the worst. If you're playing locally with friends, or through an app like Parsec, you're good. But if you're playing online, it's your biggest nightmare. That's my only complaint.

neutral · AI labelView post →Exactly what it looks like. Fun time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it is fun but put it at 10 turns max . it is repetitive how you only fight two demons and sometimes the same one multiple times. same three health bars same moves three times everytime you land on the boss. which you need to to win. the lack of characters also suck nad it feels kinda pointess? its all in the name of training i think you kill the same demons then in the end you sit somewhere in the courtyard while the guy with the purple face rates your performance and thats it nothing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An amazing game. but it makes me wanna strangle someone deeply XD. i can't win at all, JUST ONE WIN PLS. THAT'S ALL I ASK
