don't waste your money on this ♥♥♥♥ release half baked game with barely any content to just release the same game again for full price so only then you actually put some content

"Hinokami Chronicles" is the type of game that I wish all of my favorite media had! The story-mode is pretty much a 1:1 retelling of the story with just a few changes like adding additional demons to fight during arcs, so there's more to do each chapter. I think it could be redundant if you've reread/rewatched Demon Slayer a lot, but most of the cut-scenes are skippable. I personally don't mind rewatching the story …

Crazy good but quite overpriced even at sale. Pros -Multiplayer has enough player and matches are competitive enough to add replay value. -The story mode is actually better than storm imo, which was very unexpected for me as i only bought this for single fights. Cons -WHAT IS THIS PRICING?? -Doesn't include the significant characters from the anime as the game was released in a earlier state of the anime …

English version (french below) : So in theory this game is supposedly the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm with a Demon Slayer skin on. In practice, it's a bit less good, the combat system limits combo heavily, QTE are way less spectacular and there is no hub like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, 3 or 4. Now it's still a good game, combats and cutscenes look cool, but it's not the same. The little minigames are cool though …

This game is pretty good. Keeping aside the lag + fps issues during online ranked matches, the game itself is pretty fun with a cool new combat system as opposed to the OG combat system shown in Naruto Storm series which has been developed by CC2 as well. All I'd say is this game was pretty good for it's first version and Hinokami Chronicles 2 is definitely a big upgrade from this one. I highly recommend buying this …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great anime game with beautiful visuals and exciting combat. The story stays faithful to the anime, and the characters are well-designed. The story mode is a bit short, but I still highly recommend it to any Demon Slayer fan.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you already played any Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm game before, the gameplay is pretty similar and polished. I enjoyed playing it and getting all the achievements.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I beat this a while ago and I never gave it a proper review, its great and fun to play, plays a lot like Naruto Storm series since they are by the same developer. Story was a good recap of the anime.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game like a substitute of rewatching the anime in an interactive way,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, had a lot of fun, get it on discount or with a key, but beware they decided to just release a few characters as a dlc, so I have to give it a negative review. Furthermore they just puplished the 2nd hinokami chronicles, which is just an extension. Absolute CASH GRAB. Also these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ used Denuvo, which turns the game into goy slop, so that the investors behind SEGA and CyberConnect2 can profit, another HUGE minus point. Therefore just wait and hope they will release Hinokami…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a game about a boy who got his entire blood line boded by micheal jackon that is sometimes a girl, and you go though the story of this kid wanting to kill MJ cause his family is a bunch of pancakes 10/10 (very peak)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles takes the shonen fighter formula you love to see with your fav anime characters and executes it pretty well. On the side of gameplay, I have no complaints as its very engaging and every characters feels unique in their routes for combos. I do have some criticism for the story mode aspect though as It did not feel as engaging as I had hoped for it to be. Don't get me wrong, the story is great but I wish the open world segments and transition into fighting basic…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →only if you really like demon slayer, which I do not. at least its the part of the story where it still had potential.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cyber connect slop, overall a cash grab and a bad product wouldnt reccomend even if youve watched demon slayter 10000 times.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is amazing playing through the story of the first few arcs up to mugen train is great if you're a fan of demon slayer def try this game out at least once.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easiest 100% I have done, Could easily be knocked out in around 8-9 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so much fun. The animations are so freaking good and it feels like you're playing the anime. If you're a fan, this game is a must.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game is alright ig, but there are more cutscenes then actuall gameplay. Get in only on sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so good and the developer cyberconnect 2 did not lazy as the did with Naruto Ultimate ninja storm series. I hope they will not become lazy on incoming Naruto or Kimetsu series anymore
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disappointing. The fighting is pretty shallow and the rest is an exact retelling of the first anime season so if you watched that you will get nothing new whatsoever from the story.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rarely review games but this is one I would love to talk about in particular which exceeded my expectations, so I am going to write the biggest review I have ever written on Steam till date. *SPOILER ALERT FOR DEMON SLAYER ENDING* On 23rd October of this year I watched Demon Slayer Infinity Castle in cinemas, mind you I was unaware of all the crap which was about to unfold as I am a anime watcher and never read manag till then, however after I saw death of Shinobu I was confused as I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who doesn't play fighting games for the online. That one actually offers a lot. Especially good if you're a demon slayer fan, it's like playing the anime and that's cool. Very fun and has a decent bit of content. Do wait for a discount though, it's a little expensive otherwise.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty mid, weird mechanics and I am little sad abou it cause I love Demon Slayer as a serial or manga, but this game doesn't feel like demon slayer more like a bad reskin or bad mod of mortal kombat
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NNNNezukooo CHANNNNNNNNNNN. 11/10 (I'm too broke to buy the 2nd game 😭)

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game, i love it, and you can see a lot of cool new stuff like blood demon arts or new breathing style forms that you dont usually see in the anime. 9/10 Müsst ihr wissen
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🌟🌟🌟🌟 Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is a beautiful anime arena fighter that faithfully recreates the most memorable moments from the series. The cel-shaded visuals are stunning, making it feel like you're playing through the anime itself. The combat is easy to learn and packed with flashy Ultimate Arts, satisfying combos, and spectacular animations. Each character has unique moves inspired by the anime, and watching techniques like Water Breathing, Flame Breathing,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's amazing, the graphics, voices done by the actors themselves, and a good way to kill time, hinokami kagra style
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Relaxing and beautiful. Has a lot of filler, but overall very good. Don't know if anyone remembers the arcade/home console Genesis Golden Axe feels, but this is very similar. Golden Axe, both in the arcade and at home, a faithful port felt "relaxing and beautiful." Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba has that feeling, but with a much more dimensional, richer story line. Looking forward to cracking open Demon Slayer 2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a great game the controls are good but my PC is a little slow so it took a while to beat the Hand Demon boss fight but other than that it is a great game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →★★★★☆ Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is a visually stunning arena fighter that perfectly captures the style and excitement of the anime. The cinematic Story Mode faithfully recreates memorable moments with impressive cutscenes, while the fast-paced combat is easy to learn and satisfying to master. The game's anime-accurate visuals, flashy Ultimate Arts, and growing roster of characters make every battle feel like an episode of the series. Although the combat isn't as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looks pretty good for another anime fighter but that's kinda it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not a big fan of most fighting games, but this one is fantastic. It comes with a solid retelling of the first arcs of Demon Slayer, integrating each match as the story progresses. The gameplay is fairly easy to pick up, but complicated enough to require much practice to be good. Overall, worth every penny spent.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is incredibly fun to play. The animation, graphics and plot are very similar and visually pleasing. My only issue is WHY CAN I NOT GET AN S RANK ON AKAZA'S SECOND PHASE?!! I've tried a thousand times and I've never once gotten it, health almost max, damage dealt decent everything. Please help.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Plays just like the Ultimate Ninja Storm games (same dev), but the battle system is a bit simpler, since you don't have the ninja tools you have in Storm. Has a solid story mode with amazing cutscenes and some cool bosses. Lots of optional (albeit slideshow) cutscenes to watch. The story mode is definitely better than Storm 4, but not as near as good as the series peak Storm 3 Full Burst. I'd recommend this if you like Demon Slayer!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyable!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perfect adaptation, but missing the fun! I honestly wanted to give this a thumbs down - but I just can’t. I’m a huge Demon Slayer fan, and that bias is definitely doing some heavy lifting here. The presentation is fantastic: visuals, effects, and especially the sound design are on point, and the story is faithfully recreated. If you love the anime, you’ll recognize everything immediately. But the gameplay… that’s where it falls apart. Combat feels extremely repetitive and quickly turns into…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If I could describe it in one word, it would be “meh”. Combat is pretty shallow and boring after a few hours of playtime, the only reason I bought this was because it was on sale for a lot. 4.5 out of 10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As I am a huge Demon Slayer fan, I sadly do not recommend this game. The gameplay itself isn’t necessarily bad at first it can actually feel fun and visually appealing, especially if you enjoy the anime’s style and characters. However, after a few hours, it becomes extremely repetitive, with very little variation in mechanics, missions, or combat strategies. This lack of depth and progression makes the experience feel stale quite quickly, and instead of feeling excited to continue playing, I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Should have stuck with Tanjiro, the Zenitsu play time is excruciating. He walks every where... and does dumbass screaming and complaining every few seconds. worse than the Manga and Anime combined. Would rather eat rocks than hear that dumbass voice actor again x.x
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved it, but also big fan of anime fighting games. Very akin to the Naruto games, but improved on slightly to fit this anime better.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →...Set your heart ablaze
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's okay. There's not much to it, but if you like the franchise, it'll keep you busy for a few hours. There could be some more side quests & features, but I won't complain. Check it out if you see it on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It goes through the story up until the end of Mugen Train. its a fun time. I originally bought it on ps5 and played it but if its cheap on sale i'd recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love the mechanics, i've always said this anime was trash until i've watched with my bf 2 times, i'm in love with this anime and the game is super realistic. 100% recommended guys!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best game i've played in a while. Would definitely recommend this game to any Demon Slayer fans because it is just that great. I love the combat so much and all the different characters you can play as. 10/10 game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like game very much, you get to play as all your favorite characters. good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun fun fight game Edit: Just finished the game I am now sobbing help
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not worth it since 2 exists
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're here it's because you like the anime. In that case, you'll the chance to play with your favorite ones. If you like uniqueness in a fight game, forget it. Here you learn how to play with one, you learn how to play with everyone. Story mode is nice, the bosses are very fun and their mechanics varied.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, wish Kokushibo was playable because he's my favorite character but other then that pretty solid game. It's one of the only fighting games that it's a 50/50 who of me and my friends will win whenever we duel in it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →loved this game, gonna play again sometime near future. the story was great, i feel like they really did a good job making this game, the graphics, the gameplay, i loved it all. i would love to recommend this game if you played any of the Naruto ninja storm games as its just like that with the interactive cutscenes and insane visuals. or if you really liked the anime, this is a great game to get. the second one is also really good if you consider getting both. thought i do believe waiting until…
