Fun game but way too expensive online mode is dead from the start since no crossplay and the fact that the gamemode is capped at 30fps story mode got improved at least They got rid of remote play together wich means you cant even play with your friends anymore AND NOW TWO MONTHS after the release i have to pay 30 more bucks to have the full cast LOL

This game is an absolute masterpiece! The combat system is insane and incredibly fun to play. If you enjoyed the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series, you can pick this up without a second thought. And for any Demon Slayer fan out there: don't hesitate – you won't be disappointed. For the Achievement Hunters: I’ve never had as much fun hunting for achievements as I did in Demon Slayer. It’s a blast! Just a heads up: …

TLDR: + 9/10 for Kimetsu no Yaiba fans + 5/10 for everyone else Similar to the prequel this game is an okay fighting game, a decent action game, but an absolutely amazing Kimetsu no Yaiba game. 9/10 recommendation for fans of the series as it lets you walk through the setting and experience the series in a more hands-on way by exploring some of the locations such as the manors of different Hashira or the towns the …

Great combat, absolutely fantastic graphics, but overall is more of the same, if you liked the previous game you'll like this one, if you haven't played the first one this one is just as a good introduction as the first one. It feels like it has a lot of missed potential, the mini games are kind of fun but there's just a few, exploring the levels is nice but all the side missions are pointless and boring (some where …

as far as anime fighters go, hc2 is pretty good. the presentation is great and as someone who didnt play the first game, i really enjoyed it. i can see how it's less of a new thing though if youve played the first one. the core issues facing this game i think are what you expect from it. if youre expecting a deep fighting game that will reward you for exploring its systems, this isnt it. if youre expecting something …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game until they added the infinity castle characters with the ability to attack you through a already going combo. Effectively making all non paid characters far weaker than paid DLC characters. We wonder why finding a ranked match can take up to 3-5 minutes or sometimes longer. Mostly fighting against the same 5 people all the time. Dead game thanks to Devs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it is actually a very good game and fun ! but why i don't recommend it? because when you want to play online matches you won't find any one, that means you will stuck at "Seeking an Opponent" for hours or maybe forever. why is that happening? because the very smart and good developers didn't add Crossplay and now you see that less than 300 players are playing the game, so in sum you will suffer just to play online. also 60 FPS maximum <3
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would tell you to get this game if you love demon slayer and liked the first game, but I've got to talk about the online. Well first, the story is actually good. Its pretty damn similar to the actual anime and the fights are well played out. Alright lets talk about the online. I've played I think about 6-8 hours and I've gotten just a couple people. And with each one of these people the input delay has been horrible. I an not joking, every. single. person. Like literally imagine this ( Square…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Deluxe edition is a scam, but only those who bought the game before the DLC came out were so During the leadup to the game nearly all advertisements featuring the infinity castle DLC were said to be included in the deluxe edition, and the character pass would come out later for those who bought the base game This did not happen, and suddenly when a few people noticed this, all the advertisements featuring this tiny minute detail were removed from the face of the earth, and the videos I sent…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really good $20-$30 game stuck behind a $60-$70 price wall. This game is really good but good lord is it overpriced. I got it on sale and I have to say I really wish this price floor was way lower so that more people could get into the game. As it is, the price is choking the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played DS since the first game 6 years ago, and ever since the very first update in DS1, it has gone steadily downhill. They've dropped horrible dlcs with horrible balancing and never drop any patches to fix the issues. I thought to wait until now to give a review because I wanted to hear them out and wait for the final season pass character, who I personally was excited for. As a shock to literally no-one, they made another character that cannot be put anywhere in the middle of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth full price or even half price. Wait for a good sale. Only get this game if you are a fan of Demon Slayer AND arena fighters. The best part of the game is the story, which clocks in around 4-5 hours if you take your time doing subquests and collectibles. It tells the same story as the anime with similar visuals, but the animations are done well. They did a good job making the epic moments feel epic. Some of the subquests are actually well done because they add extra context that is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun, got it for replaying the story.. It's 9 hours of content but it's too overpriced. They could have just launched this as a DLC to the first game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10 The game is beautiful, but it's expensive and the online experience is bad.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Summary Demon Slayer 2 expands the first game with deeper combat, new story arcs and sharper visuals. Every strike feels powerful and battles are more cinematic than ever. Pros ✅ +Gorgeous anime visuals 🎨 +Fast, fluid combat ⚔️ +Strong emotional story 💔 +Expanded character roster 🌟 Cons ❌ -Some repetitive missions 🔁 Verdict 🎯 A thrilling sequel that perfectly blends anime emotion with intense swordplay. Great for fans of action and the Demon Slayer universe. Rating 8.8 / 10 Best for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For anyone wanting to "play" the anime... great! For anyone interested in a fighting videogame who either has watched the show or will in the future and doesn't therefore care about the story mode... not so much. Major issues: - The net code is terrible and the in-built connection diagnostic tool/display is worthless. Many times you get a grey connection, i.e. the tool saying "I have no clue if this connection is good/bad but good luck rolling the dice"... and then most of the times it's bad.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game. Please add option to switch between the three wives. I hate playing as just Hinatsuru and it enforces opinions of favoritism in polygamous relationships. Please change that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a top osu! mania player, FNF player and pianist with a LOT of rythmic talent I can say with complete certainty that the Zenitsu minigame in which he plays music on an instrument is trash. It has inconsistent rythim, inconsistent hitboxes and the notes in which you have to hold down the end is also bugged with lower hitboxes and even WORSE RYTHIM. The rest of the game seems beautiful to me, but if you were gonna make such an ABERRATION of minigame, just don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do it. It even made me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this game while on sale as I am a pretty big DS fan, though it is also to be said that my preferences are much more aimed towards the "fighting game" aspect of it rather than the solo PVE content that the game provides, I will be listing the pros and cons from someone who's also played the first title of the series, albeit on a different platform. PROS: - Eyecandy visuals - An extremely easy game to learn the basics of, which is however hard to master. - Great story mode which is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good game, only giving it a negative review because the online feels dead, no cross play, and I only ever got one single online match..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a really good solo experience with story and endless modes but it really falls flat when it comes to online pvp, idk if it's an internet issue or a game issue but every time my friend and I try to play against each other there is tonnes off lag and imput delay. The combat is great the character models and attacks are stunning (Kaigaku is my favourite) but not when they're at 13fps and the attacks come out 5 seconds late. Overall I really enjoy the game but with the lag on certain…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →$69.99 for deluxe + more $ for DLC= NO!!! Catch it on sale. Story was decent and I still have fun playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do enjoy the visuals, but other than some new characters and a bit further in the story, it doesn't add to much. For rebuying the game for 60 more dollars, I do think its kind of wild to charge 5 bucks for new characters as well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My name is DougDimmadome and I have been playing the hinokami series for over 4 years at this point. I started playing the first game at my friend's house. We usually played storm 4 but this time he wanted to kick my ass at another game. This was right around the time the final free dlc came out for the game. I really liked the game, much more than storm 4, and decided I would buy it for myself when I got home. From then on I practiced to get better at the game so I could beat him. I would play…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →umai! but seriously the first game was good but the sequel perfection
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game performs an absolutely flawless job of mimicking Demon Slayer's look and feel. Combat is fluid, graphics are gorgeous, and story mode is watching the anime all over again. Though the roster feels a bit small, it's still a must-play for fans and an easy pick-up for new player
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Demon Slayer 2 Chronicles has an amazing story and amazing combat. The fights feel really smooth and flashy. As an anime fan, it’s honestly peak, peak, sahur. The story has really sigma and emotional moments. There’s also a lot of content too. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is overally good but 1. Needs a Balance patch as soon as possible and 2. The Soundtrack pack should not cost 15 euro for a basic feature
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good would recomend but dont go into vs mode to erlay do that after like 100 hours of playin but story mode is great and other modes are great sory for splelling
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the gameplay and animations, it does what it needs to do and I like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too expensive, too much grind for the achievements. Overall just first game copy but worse
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game. The price is reasonable considering the graphics and the amount of animations put into this game. However, the gameplay itself is a bit limited to match the price. Regardless, this is a good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 takes the foundation of the first game and turns it into a broader, more confident adaptation of Tanjiro Kamado’s continuing journey. Developed by CyberConnect2 and published by SEGA, the game remains an action-focused arena fighter with a substantial story component. Rather than radically changing the established formula, the sequel concentrates on expanding the character roster, adapting later portions of the anime, improving the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't get me wrong, this is a good game with so much potential. It’s just sad to see it wasted by a lack of cross-play, ghost lobbies, and a semi-region lock. Because of this, it is almost impossible to find a multiplayer match on PC. Worse yet, you can't even play with friends on other platforms like PlayStation, which is the exact reason I bought the game in the first place. Avoid it if you're looking for an active multiplayer experience. And locking charecter behind a paywall is just slop
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really fun game the animations are great and the combat is smooth the only problem being i cant seem to get into online matches
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very gud but be ready for a crazy input delay online pog
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking to play this game only for the PvP modes (ranked and casual), don't buy this. The matchmaking queue to find an opponent takes forever, and you will constantly match with the same exact people. Its no fun when I have to battle the same person six times in a single day or go against the same handful of people. Circling back to the queue times, it takes several minutes to find an opponent. You will match with another person, but sometimes they would disconnect shortly before the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is AWESOME especially the infinity castle dlcs i genuinely think they cooked with the animations, attacks, and breathing styles and character models this game is 10/10 btw it contains a story mode (i recommend having either watched the anime or completing the first games story mode to stay caught up) a Vs mode to fight with your friends or an ai you can select the difficulty of, and you can fight online

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game repeats much of the same mistakes as its predecessor, but it's still a good play overall.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good Visuals and Gameplay, But can't play story mode because of the black screen error
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game but I hate fighting games in general. When more than half of my time is spent running and dodging then whats the point of playing? And 70% of the moves they do are invulnerable, cant interrupt or stop them in any way. Theyll miss 4 abilities straight so you think you can counter and heres the 5th invulnerable ability with a wide range that hits you mid dodge. It just get so stupid sometimes and becomes a massive waste of time.

positive · AI labelView post →Absolute sequel to an already excellent game, now it's time for CC2 to also make a Black Clover game like this. PLEASE
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is way too basic and the fights all felt like the same one. It got so repetitive that at some points I wasn't even sure if I loaded the right save or if I'm just replaying the same section again. Same as the first part, basically. The only upside is that it looks amazing in VR. Finished it 100% in VR and haven't had any issues. I still don't get how things can look so 3D and 2D at the same time, the flat screen just doesn't provide the same effect. But I wouldn't recommend it to…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After enjoying the first Hinokami Chronicles, I was really happy to play Hinokami Chronicles 2. I'm a big fan of the Demon Slayer anime and manga, so getting to continue Tanjiro's journey in game form was something I was really looking forward to. This time, the game goes further into the story with the Entertainment District, Swordsmith Village, and Hashira Training Arcs. Seeing these arcs recreated in the game was really cool, especially because I already know and love these characters…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →awsome if youv seen the anime or read the manga but if not watch the anime or manga first
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely amazing if you like demon slayer don't get me wrong, but the multiplayer is so bad mostly every one i encounter lags like ♥♥♥♥ and has massive delay, i've played with probably a hand full who don't lag or have delay. this game is a bad multiplayer game due to the fact that if your oponent has lag or delay then you'll have the same amount of delay/lag.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →worst game of all time doesnt deserve to exist p2w and no brain power is required
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →daddy master tengen is fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game gets boring after half an hour the multiplayer is complete hot garbage and very laggy and the game is very clunky they just focused on visuals for it to have around 1 hour of gameplay. Do not buy this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The visuals are flashy, action is smooth, everything is as smooth as butter. I played this game on a friend's laptop that was clearly dated, (as in he bought it in 2016) and the game ran smoother than any other game I've ever played.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun combat system, feels great to play as my favorite characters from the anime. Animations are peak, the only downside to the game is the crappy dodging mechanic, making it very difficult to escape a combo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i wish i can play bloody tengen with one arm in vs mode like in the story mode hope they make it as a skin like the tanjiro one
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fantastic way to engage and "relive" the manga/anime plots. This sequel definitely feels more polished and eventful compared to the the original, but it could also be that I played the original on a Nintendo Switch, so performance isn't as great. I'm definitely glad I made this purchase, and I'm looking forward to the future DLCs.
