What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 193 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (180 of 283 positive).
Players praise the immersive Doctor Who VR experience, especially exploring the TARDIS and encountering Daleks and Weeping Angels. [1][2][3] Some reviewers note the game is short, around 2-3 hours, and lacks a save feature. [4][5][6] Several players criticize the lack of support for Valve Index and missing DLC on Steam. [7][8][9]

I'm just gonna be short sweet and to the point, just like the game. it can be finished in like... 2 hours, and there was no freedom to the gameplay. I was very excited for the game, they made it sound amazing, but it felt like i was just experiencing a very downgraded episode of doctor who, and there was no interaction with any other "human" in the game, just voices in your head. Just wish there was some sort of …

A good VR game for fans, but it is deeply disappointing that the developers aren't supporting the Steam version on the Rift S or Index. There is a whole new, free DLC available on Quest and PS5, but PC VR is getting completely ignored

a really neat dive into the world of Doctor Who. Theres something special about seeing Daleks and Weeping angels up close and personal. exploring the TARDIS is also a dream come true. a little rough around the edges, but considering the team that created it consists of only 8 people, it is VERY impressive. I look forward to future projects from Maze Theory! Hoping this does well enough to warrant a sequel, …

This game is a must buy for all Doctor Who fans. I knew what I was getting into when I heard there were Weeping Angels in the game and I didn't think it'd be that scary. I was wrong. They are absolutely terrifying and it's fantastic! I'm happy to say this game met and very much exceeded my expectations. I hope to see many more amazing games from Maze Theory in the future! Also, for those of you saying it doesn't …

DO NOT BUY unless you are a die-hard who fan. My TLDR: Experiencing the who-verse in VR is amazing for long-time fans who want hits of nostalgia as well as the immersion of VR. The story is essentially a mid-grade who string of episodes; nowhere near as good as bad wolf, but not nearly as bad as all of season 12. The gameplay leaves a LOT to be desired, but the story drug me along just fine! Full review: From the …

Raising a glass to that very fine actor Tom Chadbon, who graced every franchise from James Bond to Blake’s 7 to Game of Thrones, and whose brilliant comic turn as Duggan, the out-of-his-depth private detective in the 1979 Doctor Who classic City of Death, is the stuff of TV legend.

positive · AI labelView post →Some of you may remember that I live tweeted my mom watching Game of Thrones to hilarious effect. So anyway we just started season 2 of Doctor Who. We watched New Earth. I could never get her to sit down and watch Doctor Who. She's more of a Trekkie. But we're doing this together. So fun.

Then count how quickly you can find a connection with Doctor Who. I have never ever got beyond three degrees of separation. Mostly it's two.

Didn't feel immersed for a moment, you can't interact with anything unless it's relevant to the plot, there are invisible walls in front of things you're supposed to interact with using the sonic screw driver, the doctor constantly harassess you for not knowing what you're supposed to do next with no clear indication of what it is your supposed to be doing. Didn't feel like I was in actual danger once. Characters kept saying…
