Only a 30 sec clip and a couple screenshots resurfaced online. It has been 42 years since this movie has been released yet has no home video releases. #lostmedia #lostfilms #doraemon

Arguably a bigger crowd-pleaser than the original, but maybe not a better movie. 3/5 stars. albertonykus.tumblr.com/post/8243500... #ドラえもん

positive · AI labelView post →39. Doraemon: Nobita’s Chronicle of The Moon Exploration (2019) 7/10 This movie was alright. Nothing that really grabbed me but I liked Nobita and Luca’s friendship. The ending climax with all the moonits coming to save the day was pretty fun but that’s about it.

I didn't realise that this year's Doraemon movie is currently showing (I sadly missed out on last year's movie), so I decided to check it out since I love Doraemon so much. Needed that little escape for a bit. Totally worth watching. 💙

Doraemon: Nobita and The Castle of the Undersea Devil (1983) 8/10 I heard that the latest Doraemon movie is a remake of this film and I can see why they would remake it. This is a really enjoyable film with the vibes of the undersea world. Also I love the focus on Shizuka.
positive · AI labelView post →I just watched one, like 30 minutes ago. It's ***Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Earth Symphony*** It's about music, and honestly animated films about music are some of the coolest films, as they can have infinite imagination of synchronizing and visualizing the music. I know Doraemon isn't that popular in the west, but it's one of the top franchises here in Asia.
positive · AI labelView post →Doraemon: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil (2026) - 8.5/10 A fun Doraemon movie. Great emotional moments with Nobita, Shizuka, and Buggy, and the climactic showdown against Atlantis was great too. I also love the practical footage that was composited with the 2D animation.

Got lax in my Kanji Kohii habit, so I'm trying to dig back up through those flashcards. Reviews build up fast when you skip even a day or two. Found some Doraemon manga at a larger used book store near me. They were like 2 bucks a piece, so I didn't think much before grabbing them. neutral · AI labelView post →41. Doraemon: Nobita’s Little Star Wars (2021) 8/10 This was a much better remake for an original movie! I found the old movie really boring, while this one was a lot of fun! I loved the character focus on Suneo since he really deserved some spotlight in a movie!
positive · AI labelView post →Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me that Ayumu Watanabe directed Witch Hat Atelier *and* Akane-banashi, two of the most hyped anime this season?! Damn, he's been busy. His Doraemon short films in the late 90s–early 2000s are in my opinion among the best animated media that franchise has to offer.

neutral · AI labelView post →Doraemon: Nobita's Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi-Kochi (2017) - 8/10 This movie is an interesting case for me. It's absolutely gorgeous, and overall, a really solid movie. But, it feels like there's something missing, that I can't quite put my finger on. Still a good watch.

neutral · AI labelView post →43. Doraemon: Nobita’s Earth Symphony (2024) 8/10 A very cute and pretty movie. While the first half felt really slow for me, it picked up in the second half. The animation and visuals are absolutely gorgeous in this movie. It should be a Doraemon movie to watch for that.
neutral · AI labelView post →42. Doraemon: Nobita’s Sky Utopia (2023) 9/10 This was an amazing movie. I enjoyed the setting and the new character Sonya. I also loved the focus on Doraemon and Nobita’s relationship and how it ties into the theme of not being perfect and loving each other’s flaws. 💙

neutral · AI labelView post →I'm happy to see that Crayon Shin-chan and Doraemon are still in good shape, especially movie-wise. Maybe I'm being melodramatic, but I think that they are two important strongholds in the world of traditional animation.
neutral · AI labelView post →51. Stand by Me Doraemon There's like five different points in this movie where it could end and just doesn't. Nobita's a little freak.
neutral · AI labelView post →The Doraemon volume contains three of its long stories (the ones that were created to be adapted for the movies). Among them is Doraemon - Nobita and the cloud kingdom. Its movie became an instant favorite of mine for its creativity and its themes, so I wanted to have the original manga.
neutral · AI labelView post →Exactly, the animation is not bad though and it kinda reminds me of either one of the Doraemon films or that one Lupin film. Not to mention, these fans are also pushing in their 20s, 30s, or 40s btw.
