The movie continued a plot point from the original installment, and it was mostly a relaxed trip revisiting the world of Doraemon 😊 it had some sweet moments in it as well, it was a nice experience!

COMPLETE - Stand By Me Doraemon Taking a detour from the epic adventures of the other films, this leans into the simpler situations and warm heart of the regular series, to great effect. An immensely charming and sweet movie. "Out of the millions of possibilities, you grabbed the opportunity"
positive · AI labelView post →i guess not "80s anime" but anime in general i watched Stand By Me Doraemon (2014) years ago and the whole movie revolved around the world's most unlikable child using whimsical technology to harass the poor girl he has a crush on 😭

positive · AI labelView post →Im sure this will never reach its target audience but: If they make a third Stand By Me Doraemon movie, it should involve his birth, how he lost his ears, and his sister (Dorami)
neutral · AI labelView post →51. Stand by Me Doraemon There's like five different points in this movie where it could end and just doesn't. Nobita's a little freak.

Still a really good story, and worth watching on its own as a cute, heartwarming little tale touching on what Doraemon means to Nobita.

positive · AI labelView post →main character. There are movies and seasonal specials with longer plots, and even some that combine several shorts into a more cohesive story. There's a 2014 movie titled, "Stand By Me Doraemon", which is a high-quality CGI remake of several past plots, and serves as an origin story for..

Stand By Me Doraemon 2 (anime): I remember finding the previous film awkwardly structured & emotionally cloying, & this is more of the same but now with extra self-pitying yet self-important cynical BS. Nobita is a pathetic beta who does nothing & gets rewarded for it. Otherwise mid. 5/10

neutral · AI labelView post →This Doraemon film beautifully summarizes the beloved series into a well-paced 1-hour-35-minute story, covering everything from character introductions to an emotional ending. While the animation is stunning and the plot entertaining, its focus on marriage and future life makes it feel more mature and less suitable for younger children. Some logical inconsistencies, such as the paradox of Doraemon's existence and timeline issues, leave lingering questions that the movie doesn't fully resolve.…

positive · AI labelView post →> No gadget can edit the future, only hard work does. Honestly, I am not a Doraemon fan, I did not grow up watching the series. I was hooked up to the Cartoon Network and its all the shows. But this one, they never aired it, so I am not familiar with. However, I had a few glimpses while passing by when my niece watching it on the television set. She loves it and she draws it. It was an English dubbed version though, that did not excite me a much. Officially, this movie was my first encounter…
