It shouldn't even be called electrician "simulator", it's closer to a electrician themed chore game made for a school project. While the graphics and UI are ironed out (no complaints here), the actual content is nowhere close to a electrician's job. Your tools are some screwdrivers and one voltage tester, you don't have any: multimeters, L/N/PE testers, ohmeters for grounding, and plenty of other …

So let me start off saying this: My dad was a qualified electrician, residential and industrial. I learnt a lot about electricity from him. Now, meat and potatoes of the review: It's pretty good, though I guess I can see why some would say there's not enough guidance or learning. Well yeah these are basics, enough to get something done. Someone complained about turning off mains to change a light, yeah you're …

If you’re looking for a game that’s equal parts "brain-calming diversion" and rewarding logic puzzle, Electrician Simulator is a standout choice in the sim genre. It perfectly captures that satisfying "click" of solving a problem without the real-world risk of a hospital visit. Why It’s a "Bright" Choice: - Satisfying Gameplay Loop: You start with basic tasks like fixing sockets and light bulbs, eventually moving up …

After a few hours, I can say this game is pretty relaxing. The jobs are simple but satisfying, and it actually makes you think before connecting wires. It's not perfect, but if you enjoy simulator games and want something chill to play, it's worth trying. I had a good time with it.

It's an excellent opportunity to get some very basic knowledge of how electricity on a domestic household works, while still having fun with ASMR-like gameplay. Game is very complete, with different challenges, full tutorials, good animations and designs.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As an ex-electrician I thought this game would be about the job of an electrician, repairing, rewiring, fault finding, new installations, domestic, industrial. There is so much potential. The bench working is good, stripping and checking game controller, drone, cassette player etc. The models are really good and the gameplay works well. The rest of the game, arguably the main part of carrying out work in customer homes was sadly disappointing. I spent ages searching for a key to open a locked…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game last year before I became an electrical apprentice because I thought it would help me but I never got around to it. I'm on my first year of being one and I decided to play this game to see how much knowledge I can apply to this game and I'm disappointed. It's less of an electrician simulator and more of a connect the dots puzzle, you don't really have to think about anything all you do is go around and search for the thing for 10 minutes and once you finally find it you have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →do not buy. waste of money. terminology is wrong, breakers are not fuses. wires wrong color/labels. no clear instructions, got stuck trying to remove a capacitor. repair jobs are just remove everything and replace with working parts. no proper troubleshooting. unrealistic tools (you have to buy tools every job, and buy repeatedly). real electrician have tools they use over and over again. gameplay is unrealistic, have parts just float in mid air instead of going into a inventory like PCBS.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has great potential but sadly feels mostly like a chore. You need to screw/unscrew things over and over which is just plain tedious. Everyone knows how to unscrew something. It would be much better if we could simply open everything directly. If the boring parts get streamlined it might be fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros Feels realistic Lots of jobs You learn how electricity works Cons I am now scared to touch my real fuse box.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love getting electrocuted. As opposed to other simulators I played in the past, at least here I don't have to clean up the entire place just to start working. The game is alright, a little repetitive and buggy tho.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: It was more fun doing electricals in 7 Days to DIe than in this game. I wasnt expecting much from an electrician simulator, but I was still dissappointed. First problem was that I spent all my money buying parts for a job, but I couldnt afford to buy all that I needed, so I was stuck without enough parts for ANY job, and no way to make any money. I had to start a new game. The game told me I had to bring the parts for a job, I had bought them but couldnt find them. Ran around my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →way too simple game, at this point even a baby can be an electrician. way too short story as well and monotony. wasted money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game focuses mostly on the electronic side of things; while it does include some basic high voltage, I need more!!! I also wish it featured more high voltage components commonly found in the U.S. This game has so much potential to be more than just entertainment—it could be a greater tool for learning.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wish that there was a neutral rating. The game is fun if you like PC building simulator. Fixing electronics and puzzling out how to connect things in a building is really fun. I just wish there was more to it. More electronics to fix, more restrictions on how wires are to be placed, more missions, more upgrades, etc. Everything you upgrade is basically cosmetic and all or nothing in how something looks. The only real upgrade is a screwdriver that you can buy after the first mission and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-- Worth it on sale, but don’t expect a deep simulator -- I picked up Electrician Simulator mostly because the concept sounded cool — a detailed electrician sim where you fix appliances and run jobs in people’s houses. At its current price (especially on sale), it can be fun, but it’s not quite the deep, realistic experience I hoped for. The game really has two main gameplay loops: repairing broken items in your workshop and doing electrical jobs in houses. The workshop stuff can be engaging…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice concept, but very repetitive after the first few tasks. Don't go into this game expecting to actually learn anything about electrical skills - the only things to do in the main missions are installing light switches and electrical outlets. The workbench mode is even more repetitive and has a very limited number of items to work on. A really helpful QoL update would be to replace all broken parts at once - the amount of clicking through the list of parts is very, very boring. It's quite a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The wiring doesn't actually make realistic sense.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played this game for a good several hours and concluded that, as nice and novel as the game is, I can't really recommend it. In concept, it's a fun idea. You go from house to house to fix or 'unfix' electrical wires and equipment. It's a nice introduction on how electric work is generally done. You even have a chance to fix up problematic items like a toaster and fix them. Which I like. The problem happens as you start getting into the 'gameplay loop.' You go into the house, doing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately, I can't recommend. While it started off promising and engaging, it quickly became boring. I know the devs made this game to be a chill experience, but calling it an Electrician Simulator is a bit of a stretch. Wiring sockets and switches isn't really what an electrician does on a daily basis. My honest opinion 5/10. It gets repetitive fast. Only buy it if it’s on a discount.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why is everything labeled a capacitor? Even with chores, and repetitiveness, it can still be enjoyed but NOOOOOOO you just had to get lazy and not label resistors.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Calls resistors capacitors
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish it had an option for North American style wiring but other than that it's great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This "Simulator" is far-far away from reality and it becomes boring very quickly. I don't even wanna say anything about repair jobs, it's basically level of flash games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I highly recommend this game because I'm a student of electrical engineering in my uni lmao.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My wife used to say I was useless at housework. BUT! Thanks to this game, I learned how to take apart and assemble sockets and switches! Now I’m helpful - I do it every day!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game - I used to work in maintenance and had a blast for a handful of years until my decrepit ass body started to give out, and this simulator is accurate enough to scratch that itch for me :) This is something you can really dive into while listening to an audiobook or podcast or something

Every single component, every resistor, capacitor microcontroller et cetera of that device was broken. Question: Do you buy a new device? Answer: No -- you disassemble the whole device, replace each individual part, assebmle it back and give it back to the customer!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I mean this game is fun and all, I have a VR headset and was really excited when I heard about a VR version of the game coming out, but then I realized instead of adding VR support for the game I already spent money to get, they added another version of the game with the same price tag. They could have easily done what every other game does and have different launch options, but ig they didn't want to.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This sim would be more realistic if there was an electrician or EE engineer behind the game.. Per total, the game follows the gaming structure, it's relaxing and it's fun tbh, after working all day.

I followed the wrong path, and now I have to restart for lack of funds. There is literally no way to get right otherwise. Ok well, here is my feedback on that. NOPE
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played for an hour, now I'm a full time certified electrician technician! I actually own my own company now because of this. Became a millionaire!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is quite good for teaching the basics of electronics repair. In the process of repairing the table fan, and especially the gaming mouse, it reminded me a lot of doing the real thing myself. Doing installations in homes is a super chill activity, although definitely get a fast screwdriver asap. I'd say this game lasts for about to 7~10 hours, definitely worth it on sale.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bit buggy and tedious, electrician simulator is a miss at full price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This isn't great, you can beat the majority of the content in an hour or two, and playing longer is just hunting for achievements. This isn't to say it's *bad*, it's just meh. In the 'electrician mode', two things I'd point out is that you can't make a junction box, only daisy-chain outlets in a line. There's also no reference to planning out a circuit, so it doesn't matter if you put every every single current draw on the same breaker. If anything, I have to say that bench-fixing the…

I would say a 30 minute youtube video would probably do more for improving your actual knowledge of home electrical.
