Looks very pretty, was sad to see the country selection for a region that is as culturally rich as the Levant be an occupying state. It's a shame really, now gimme my money back.

Very beautiful. Very relaxing gameplay. I encountered no bugs and I love the soundtrack! I also like that you touch upon many national myths and legends in the pictures you put together. The only thing that annoys me is the fact you get no world overview, at least I found no way to zoom out of the closer view. And half of the screen (when you are scrolling along the world map to chose your next destination) is taken …

I loved this game! The art is mesmerizing, and the background music is gentle and calming. I usually mute music in 99% of games because it overstimulates me, but here I didn’t have to. The puzzles strike a perfect balance—not too hard, not too easy. Some took me around 15 minutes, others closer to 45, which kept it engaging throughout.

Glass Masquerade is a really fun and relaxing puzzle game with a beautiful art style. The stained-glass designs are creative, and completing each puzzle feels rewarding without being overly stressful. That said, I did run into a couple of annoyances during my playthrough. After a while, the game started to stutter, which slightly broke the otherwise calm experience. Setting the application to high priority in Task …

I’ve played all four Glass Masquerade games, and Glass Masquerade 1 is still my favourite. The art is really beautiful. Each puzzle looks like stained glass that is glowing with soft light. The designs are inspired by different countries, and each one feels like a small piece of culture shown through art. The gameplay is very calm and relaxing. You match glass pieces by shape and color. Because the pictures are so …

60 of 208 · most liked firstThe Viking combat roguelite Bad North (2018) is truly incredible in bite-sized real-time tactics. The real-time chess of the different character classes in Bad North is truly incredible. I love how height makes a real advantage (or disadvantage if too close!) for archers' physics-driven arrows, all the details (despite being a minimalist game) like arrows getting stuck in targets' shields, your choices in what weapon specialties you can assign, the fluid and organic character movement and…

neutral · AI labelView post →It might not be obvious from the title, but this is a jigsaw puzzle game where you assemble beautiful iridescent mosaics. You can't rotate the pieces (an optional feature in the sequels), so it's a little on the easy side, but it is atmospheric and soothing, and kept me engaged for the five hours it took to beat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't praise this game enough. It's relaxing. It's easy to pick up and play and put down. Even after you beat it you can come back and try to beat your best times. It's a good game to just fall into and forget about everything else. Getting it on sale felt criminal to be honest.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3.5/10 i prefer puzzles, but this was still enjoyable + artwork + 5$ - puzzle pieces flip back over when not being held - pieces dont line up exactly, this bothers me the most - pieces return to the side of screen and rotate back to what they were before being moved - you can scroll up and down with the puzzle pieces on the side of the screen. - every time a piece is used the other pieces adjust this makes it hard to memorize where and what every piece is and has me flipping pieces a few times…

neutral · AI labelView post →I honestly really enjoyed Glass Masquerade. Glass Masquerade is one of those games that feels less like a challenge and more like a little escape. There's something strangely satisfying about watching a pile of random pieces slowly turn into a beautiful stained-glass design. The stained-glass artwork is gorgeous, the music is calming, and putting each piece into place is surprisingly satisfying. I liked that the game doesn't constantly pressure you or throw unnecessary mechanics at you.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is beautiful, but a little clunky due to being a mobile port. Sometimes pieces don't look like they'll fit in their correct spot, sometimes the scrolling ui of the pieces breaks and stops moving, etc.. Apparently the 3rd and 4th ones are (undeclared) AI slop, so heads-up about that. 1 and 2 are before the AI slop plague, so you're clear of it here. Some of the game is blocked off via paid DLC, but the achievements are all doable without those. There are free DLCs you will need to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The soundtrack to this game is so peaceful, it has kept me calm during the day and the visuals of the puzzles are so beautiful, I can't wait to play 2,3 & 4! I've been having issues sleeping at night and this has made me stay naturally tired for a good sleep tonight ^^ Super easy to 100% this, you don't need any of the DLC's to require it :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first thing that stood out was the feel of the game. The lag when moving a piece from the edge to where you want to place it felt disjointed. It felt gross. It felt so wrong. Like when a deranged orange baboon somehow became president of a country. Twice. Then the pieces not being exact caused me dissonance. I'm a bit of a perfectionist with my puzzling, so having pieces that didn't fit right - not the right size, extra protrusions on it, not exactly the right shape - was causing me…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful, unique take on jigsaw puzzles. Gorgeous art, intuitive gameplay and incredible music.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So it’s actually almost a perfect puzzle game. The stained glass graphics are really nice, and everything is visually consistent. You can play it with someone who doesn't normally play games and stll have normal fun. My only major complaint is the strange decision to release so much DLC for a puzzle game - instead of you know just simply gathering ideas and releasing a sequel... Like, why?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My only complaint is that it took me way too long to figure out that the last two puzzles to get 100% were free dlc that I never downloaded, and that's on me. :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is a specific time for a specific type of game. I knew that the day would come for this one, and it did. The day when all I wanted was something quiet. Something gentle. Something that doesn’t demand Glass Masquerade is a jigsaw puzzle game. What makes it special is the presentation: simple yet gorgeous visuals, mysterious calm music, and satisfying sound design. I’m no fan of puzzle games, and I felt comfortable with the difficulty — it’s very nicely balanced, leaning toward easy. Not…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful, but it can be hard. The pieces can't be placed freely or turned face up, and they have borders, so finding the right place sometimes can be hard. But if you're a jigsaw puzzle fan, you will love it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice chilling game to forget your problems and the dying society around you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Glass Masquerade 2 Another chill game (surprise...I was going through it), but this one is more creepy than cute. Despite the inclusion of clowns I really liked the horror theme of the puzzles.
positive · AI labelView post →Started Backpack Hero. I don't think it's for me, but it's a nice kill time game. Also started, and finished, Glass Masquerade 3: Honeylines. Nice little puzzle game to play through.
neutral · AI labelView post →It felt like I had gone back to my childhood, when I used to put together puzzles on an old computer with my grandma.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i dont like how much is locked behind a DLC. dlc should be extra but not really required content. as you go, theres so many places you can see locked behind dlc and it makes it confusing to follow and see which levels are part of the main game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A gold standard of jigsaw puzzles. beautiful mosaics, chill music, and puzzle pieces that are all unique shapes to keep it interesting. Only downside is the interface. It can be hard to drag pieces and sometimes they sit under the menu.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Glass Masquerade gently and beautifully removes the shame of sometimes only having the mental capacity for a 50-piece jigsaw puzzle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely recomment this game to every puzzle lover, it is gorgeous!!

neutral · AI labelView post →I didn't enjoy this game at all; it was nothing special. I know it's a classic, simple puzzle game, but It had to add something. You don't need to buy DLC to get 100% completion.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/43083373/]Clever games curator review: 6/10. A jigsaw puzzle with a twist: Rather than fitting together the pieces based on the images shown on them, you are meant to puzzle things out purely by the shapes. To encourage this, you only see the shapes/outlines of the unplaced pieces, and the shapes are in random orientations until you click on them. Once clicked on, they pop into their proper orientation and full color. But because the different shapes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Glass Masquerade is a fun and relaxing jigsaw puzzle game, I like this game because you aren't just solving jigsaws of random pictures but you are making stain glass art that are related to the country for example USA has some of its iconic buildings as part of the puzzle and Greenland has whales etc. Another thing I like about this game is that you can 100% the achievements without the need to buy the DLC which is nice, I recommend this if you are looking for a relaxing jigsaw puzzle game to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very nice time sink. beautiful artistic glass windows. dlc's required for 100% achievments.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stained glass is such an interesting and appealing way to do a jigsaw puzzling game. My only complaints were the sort of sense of claustrophobia when navigating the level selection menu and the long screen transition animations, especially when you have to wait for them to complete in order to interact with anything. What was surprising was the lack of requirement to buy the DLC as a prerequisite to 100%. Because of this, and my enjoyment of jigsaw puzzles, I went ahead and bought all the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been playing some Glass Masquerade recently after getting it on sale, I'm really liking it. It's a simple puzzle game using beautiful stained glass art. Anybody played it?
positive · AI labelView post →Platinum #178: Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions (PS4). I enjoyed the first game for its relaxing jigsaw puzzles with stained-glass windows. This sequel ramped up the difficulty to irritating, and the designs of the windows became more abstract and harder to "read". Just play the first one.

The Glass Masquerade trilogy. Okay, its not *bad* bad. But it's fucking jigsaw puzzles. I spent money on 3 jigsaw puzzles ...and the DLCs
neutral · AI labelView post →Okay: Glass Masquerade 1 is great, 2 is almost as great, but 3 was really disappointing; Pepper's Puzzles is another Picross game; Monument Valley 1+2 are really neat click-puzzles with a good story; Hook 1+2, Naboki, Up Left Out and Klocki by Maciej Targoni are short but really good puzzlers -

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty straightforward: jigsaw puzzles with uniquely shaped pieces and lovely art! Easy recommendation for anyone who likes jigsaw puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoy puzzle games. This one is particularly challenging. I received the basic game free and purchased the DLCs to complete it. I recommend it and as well as the other three other Glass Masquerade puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Delightful! A very unique take on a jigsaw puzzle game with beautiful music and cultural influence. Highly recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As of today, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (1992) is the 542th best game of all time according to me, directly below Shadow of Destiny and directly above Glass Masquerade. It is part of Tier 24. There are 25 tiers and 587 games in the list #PixelRankings
neutral · AI labelView post →The game has some nice art, but technically it struggles a lot. Puzzle pieces frequently get stuck mid-air while dragging them, causing the whole game to freeze up temporarily. The only way I’ve found to fix it is pressing the Alt key, which somehow unfreezes the pieces and makes the game resume again. What makes it worse is that once it starts happening on certain maps, it keeps happening constantly. Really frustrating experience for a puzzle game.
