I'm a 38 year old man and had to find those kelp seeds for nostalgia purposes. Great game and it's just as I remember it. I might play through the rest of them. Definitely recommend these games to anyone looking for revisit their childhood a bit.

My classroom computer had this game on it in first grade. Anytime we had free time on the computer, I would play Freddi Fish and The Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds. It's a colorful game that has you going back and forth through different areas picking up items and solving puzzles. Fun game that I enjoyed as a kid and even my kids have enjoyed, proving that it still holds up well today.

One of the first computer games I ever played with my grandma. Now I play it with my kids. You can't go wrong with all of the Humongous Entertainment games for young children. They just don't make games like this anymore.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely life-changing game, I now realize that the pre-Freddi the Fish era in my life was a dark age that I can only look back on with ignominy. From today onward I am a new man with a revitalized conception of the wider world. There shant be a day forward where the influences of this game will not guide the way I live the rest of my life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As everyone here I got this one for nostalgic purposes. The game is one year older than me and I'm not sure around what age I got to play it, but English is not my native language and this is the first time I actually got to understand the dialogue and story. I'm sure as a child I never finished it as well. I do want to write a complete review and not just make some comment about how nostalgic this made me, so here it is. STORY: As a children's game, this works really well. The story is…

As I grew older the memories of this game faded into the background of my mind. After trial and tribulation, glory and grief, pain and pleasure, I found a woman worthy to spawn my Ilk. From this woman sprang 2 "children" these children were females with two X chromosomes each. In spite of their lack of superior chromosomes, I still…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The complexity of this game has got me standing in utter awe. The way the high-definition graphics suck you into an immersive experience of traversing dangerous depths for a rewarding prize of kelp seeds. The way that the two small fish flitter through the water at immense speeds in order to save their dear grandmother's kelp seeds makes the player emotionally connected to such a beautiful game. The beautiful graphics combined with the smooth complex controls makes this game a long and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another classic from Humongous Entertainment. Freddi Fish and Luther are a great dynamic duo that benefit the story greatly. Animations, Artstyle, Gameplay all are very well done while having a wholesome story that's interesting and engaging. Overall this game holds up incredibly well all these years, decades later and will continue to do so. A hidden and underrated pearl that deserves all the love possible.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been going back and playing a bunch of games from my childhood recently - yesterday I played Freddi Fish and the Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds! A cute point and click adventure game with surprisingly good animations for 1994. Only took me 45 mins to finish but it gave me ALL the nostalgia ❤️

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Classic gaming right here! Very nostalgic, I wish HE was still making games. <3 (I love this game so much)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the first real video games I ever played and I did not appreciate it enough then. The amount of hidden animations is impressive and it still holds up after all these years. If you need a nice hit of nostalgia, this game will provide plenty.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →got it as a gag but found myself in awe of the fun animations and amount of random things you can click on. surprisingly fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had completely forgotten that this game existed until seeing it on a forum somewhere recently and had a flood of memories from a kindergarten class where Freddi Fish was for some reason always running on a big dumb clunky PC. Nabbed the game on sale, sat down and had a surprisingly good time. You'll easily beat this child's game in one sitting but it'll be a pretty enjoyable if not nostalgic hour and a half if you like simple point and clicks.
