I usually don't play scary games however this was an exception. Usually horror games are filled with cheap jumpscares but this is not the case with Freddi Fish. No instead it has a constant, creepy air about it as you explore a vast and in-depth world. Every character you meet adds more to the horror until the ending finally breaks you. If you are in need of the best horror game of the last decade then please pick …

Freddi Fish 2 is a badass game for real men an hour-long adventure game for young children, so, uh, don't go in expecting The Witness. It's rather old, but it still stands up as good entertainment for kids, with some charm for the adults should they decide to play along. I'm glad the old Humongous Entertainment games are on Steam; the storefront certainly needs more titles of quality, and I'd rather see children …

One of the first PC games I ever played as a child. Very nostalgic and bought it again to play it for the feels, it was very worth it :') I love Freddi Fish so much!

Freddi Fish was one of my first ever video games I played as a kid, and I am thrilled that they are now all available on Steam. I'm sharing them with my much younger sister, and she loves them too.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easily the best Souls-like game out there. Highly skilled gaming experience required. And insanely deep game mechanics. Do you like Dark Souls or Elden Ring this is the game for you. The lore alone is Godlike!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing, just amazing. They somehow managed to expand and surpass the already great gameplay loop from the first game! The writing of the returning characters is some of the best character development I've ever seen in the gaming period. The environments are beautiful and detailed with so many branching paths that really reward exploration. The boss fight with the shark goons at the end is straight up incredible. I could honestly gush about this game for hours but I think I’ve made my point.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the most intense games I've ever played. This game was too much for me to handle, not for the light of heart. If you are looking for one of the most story driven, mind boggling puzzle games, you've found it. From the horrifying revelations of the school, to the dark truth behind Luther. I had goosebumps every minute I put on this game. If you can complete the game with your thoughts intact, you are one ice-veined individual. Good luck to any who dare take on this behemoth of a game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a piece of art. A pure art form in itself that only the brightest minds with at least an IQ of 300 can understand. This game emanates a sort of power never seen or heard of in the history of the Earth. So many hidden details and difficult puzzles that still boggle the greatest minds at NASA. It is said that Luther actually is a Rhodes Scholar and Freddi invented an antimatter time machine. Truly a high quality game... no. Truly a way of life. Playing Freddi Fish 2: The Case of the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looks I love these games and have many nostalgic memories from my childhood, but it is absolutely criminally absurd to charge 7 dollars for games that are over 20 YEARS OLD and only take 30 minutes to play through. If this game cost like 2 dollars I'd get it at least a little more, but like come on. As it currently stands unless you have the largest Nostalgia boner that can only be satiated by actually playing Freddi Fish, I would not recommend anyone pay full price for this game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Freddi Fish 2: The Case of the Haunted Schoolhouse, developed and published by Humongous Entertainment and later re-released by Nightdive Studios, remains one of the most beloved examples of 1990s children’s adventure games. Originally released in 1996, it builds upon the foundation laid by the first Freddi Fish title, offering a more polished, narratively engaging, and humor-filled underwater mystery. The game stars Freddi, the intelligent and compassionate yellow fish, and her excitable best…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's alright game but hard to recommend for adults who never played any Humongous Entertainment games or has nostalgia for Freddi Fish. It's at least better than earlier Putt Putt games in terms of gameplay, being a bit harder to figure out and having item randomisation. Better than early Putt Putt games in terms of environment design/atmosphere, be it graphic design or clickable objects being more interesting to look at. But it does have downsides in terms of one of the most boring…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worm Doodles! You've got to have them! I didn't quite get to play this one growing up, but I can see how it carries the torch for the original. This one was perhaps a lot more musical than the first, though they both have lots of songs. It seems like there might be more characters open to bouts of song in this one though. Also, there are some fun callbacks to the previous game and, of course, some easter eggs for other Humongous Entertainment titles to be found. In fact, this one even teases…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unique things about The Case of the Haunted Schoolhouse: • It by far has the most songs. It seems like half the characters have a song to sing. Seriously, if your kids (or you) like to sing along to things, this is the entry to get • There are several different items you can use to build your trap. Which configuration you get each time you start the game is random • It seems to use more dark colors to highlight the whole “haunted” aesthetic; this leads to some of the prettiest backgrounds in…

It's an adventure game with standard point and click gameplay. All Freddi Fish games are intended for children, so a review from the point of view of an adult wouldn't be very helpful. For most kids, Freddi Fish will be challenging enough to keep them occupied, but not so hard that it becomes…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for a stimulating point and click game for adult, this isn't it. It is a kids game, an adult can finish this in around 20 minutes. I remember playing it as a kid and I love it. I still find the artwork, songs and voice acting really good, and enjoy it for what it is, a kids game for ages 3-6. I'm sure my kids will love it as much as I did when I was a toddler.

neutral · AI labelView post →A Sequel worth diving into! Freddi Fish and Luther are a great dynamic duo that benefit the story greatly. Animations, Artstyle, Gameplay all are very well done while having a very spooky story that's interesting and engaging. More puzzles that were fun to solve, more items to collect, more things to interact with and more fantastic cutscenes. It's a great sequel that adds on and improves almost everything from Freddi Fish 1.
