Freshly Frosted is a puzzle game where you complete levels in a donut factory. In each level, you connect the machines with a conveyor belt to assemble the donuts you need and deliver them to the counters. The game is broken up into 12 different stages of 12 levels each. The puzzles get more complex as the game goes on, with a new element added in each stage, although they vary in difficulty from beginning to end. …

A refreshingly adorable logic puzzle game. I'm surprised just how good this is, almost every aspect of the game is top-notch. From the puzzles themselves which perfectly ramp up in their difficulty, to the music, overall visual aesthetic, and even the narration accompanying every puzzle: all of them are great. There's a fair bit of challenge involved in solving the most intricate puzzles which is nice. The puzzles …

A lovely little puzzle game, with a difficulty curve that remains challenging without making you work too hard, and a soothing tone. Runs great on Steam Deck.

Freshly Frosted is the second best linepath game I've played, behind just Cosmic Express. With the exception of level 9-12, I found the puzzle design to be excellent. I'm even willing to concede there was likely a catch to 9-12 that I overlooked. I really can't be mad at this game. The atmosphere of Freshly is beyond chill. I never felt frustrated, even on the handful of puzzles that had me stumped for a while. …

This game knows exactly what it is, and I think it succeeds on what it sets out to do: a puzzle game that is meant to be relaxing from start to finish.

neutral · AI labelView post →It's a puzzle game about placing toppings onto donuts and delivering them to different areas on the boar. Great vibe and the first few hours are fun, but it gets incredibly repetitive even with the frequent introduction of new mechanics, especially so if you don't click with said mechanics particularly well. If it's on sale, give it a go - you very well might like it much more than I did.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing special. The colors are nice, but the puzzle type is nothing new - form paths from multiple start and end points. I expected a lot more from all the positive reviews, but the levels tend to repeat themselves quite a bit, I'm not going to go through another set of 12 just to get a crumb of new mechanic. Edit: Hi dev, I actually finished 3 boxes and that's what I'm talking about - I had to go through 36 levels and felt a lot was repeating itself. Obviously I'm in the minority here, but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pipe puzzle style game about making donuts. The art style is visually appealing and it has a great soundtrack. I was a bit hesitant about the price at first, but after seeing the vast amount of levels it contains, it has definitely earned that price point. It also has ICUE integration, if you're into that kind of thing, unfortunately didn't work for me as i have an older version of the software. I can guarantee this game will make you want a donut.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Freshly Frosted is a very good puzzle game with a lots of levels. It's a chill and funny game and the puzzles are not too difficult. I highly recommend it!!! 💗🍩💗

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a great game for the price-point. I played it through to the end, and really enjoyed it. One puzzle (about 4 from the end give or take) in my view was much more difficult than the puzzles which came after, but maybe that is just me. Cute game. Fun. Relaxing. Nice to play right before bed. I hope this company produces more puzzle games in the future. This is hardly a criticism, but one feature that I would have liked to see was some way for the player to mark/draw or put symbols…

positive · AI labelView post →Plus: + Casual difficulty. + Cute and colourful. + 12 boxes, each with 12 puzzles; a new mechanics gently introduced at the beginning of each box. + Interesting mechanics and puzzles. + loads of QoL features and accessibility options (undo, redo, restart, puzzle skip/select, fast-forward, hint, etc). + Chill soundtrack and narration. Minor issues: - Some undocumented behaviour of the mechanics (e.g. the teleporting copier). - Deeper puzzles, for example programming-like ones, could be created…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a really good game and I recommend it, however not without some caveats. This was a very relaxing game, in one sense. The narrative is a person taking a mental health break and daydreaming about donut factories. Silly, but as someone with mental illness that daydreaming is relatable, it was also nice to hear a bunch of affirming messages. Now for the gameplay first off GREAT to see some accessibility settings in this genre, too rare. I very much appreciated just being able to press a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't even like puzzles and I love this game. Great game, challenging puzzles, lots of positive reinforcement. The visuals are pleasant, and the narrator is delightful. When I get stuck on a puzzle for a while, I just leave the game for a day and come back and I'm usually able to get it shortly thereafter. The game never makes you stressed out or feel dumb. It's a great comfy game for everyone, even if you're not a fan of puzzles!

Day 286) Freshly Frosted by Ty Taylor, Amanda End, Ally Taylor, Josie Brechner A cute little puzzle game that has you making donuts in a factory. It's a simple concept, but the level design keeps things interesting and complex enough for a fun challenge.
positive · AI labelView post →I just finished Tested on Humans: Escape Room last night. I enjoyed it, but then I do love puzzle games. Next up will most likely be one of the other Escape Room games, or I may go back to playing some Freshly Frosted, or start playing Alan Wake on Gog. Heck I may get a bit crazy and play one of my Steam games - Creepy Tale: Some Other Place, Slender Threads or one of the Rusy Lake games I have. I keep forgetting that I have Steam on there and a bunch of Steam games. All my time is spent in…
neutral · AI labelView post →I originally played this on the Xbox and even though i had already played and completed it. It was 100% worth it to buy and play it 100% again. The donuts were quite the tasty puzzle, appealing to the eyes, and with each new box bringing a new quirky mechanic each time which was a load of fun to play. One of the best and fun loving puzzles to play. Kudos to the developers for creating it with frosting, sprinkles, whipped cream and a cherry on top!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOT FRESHLY FROSTED I LOVED THAT GAME
positive · AI labelView post →It's a decent puzzle game. It's relatively easy/casual, and I feel the challenge starts kicking in on box 7. Each box introduces a new mechanic, so the levels never feel stale. Although I'm not fan of the teleporter mechanics on box 11, where I resorted to a guide rather quickly. I recommend Freshly Frosted at its base price and strongly recommend it during sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed it as a cute lil puzzle game until I got to a point where... it was just taking too much brain power, and it felt like to make any progress I had to look up the puzzle answers, which kinda... became not so fun. Part of that is me just not wanting to think that hard, tbh. Too much going on in life I didn't want to get annoyed trying to run a conveyer for donuts. In any case, I liked the cute graphics and the puzzles were fun... well, the ones I wasn't too stupi dumpi to solve on my own…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Freshly Frosted has good and satisfying puzzle designs and a pretty cozy atmosphere. Was a lot of fun to play, and the puzzles were difficult without becoming overbearing or too complicated.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In short: play this game it deserves way more love 9/10. As a puzzle game it is really well made even if I got stuck in some levels not fully understanding the new mechanics or finishing some levels through shortcuts. But everything else was perfect for a small game. You might get frustrated at times but the narrator is always helpful by giving you hints and taking away the pressure reminding you that this is a cozy, casual and relaxing game about donuts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good puzzle game for steam deck. Core machanic is conveyors where you need to deliver items from A to B. There are 12 boxes with 12 puzzles inside them. Each box presents some sort of new mechanic, sometimes they combined. Some levels are just tutorials, but some give your brain boost. But there are no too hard puzzles because of size of levels. Personaly hate some puzzles that rely not only on path of conveyors but on tact of conveyors.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SO DANG CUTE!! I love the soundtrack and the gameplay itself is very addicting. It starts off pretty easy and quickly ramps up into a more challenging puzzle experience, with the later boxes bringing in fun new elements. I felt stuck on some levels, but thankfully there is a hint option that doesn't overshare the solution. Plus, the narrator's voice has to be one of the most soothing sounds ever. I want donuts after playing this!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wasn't expecting this puzzle game to be kind of diabolical at times despite how chill it was. Would definitely play more levels or a sequel if one was ever made - But even if that didn't happen, I'm content with this game. Really lovely time.

Hold that thought I need to to run Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts............ This game will make you think as you continue to eat your way through the levels with a nice relaxing narrator in the background. Some of the puzzles can be quite hard as the levels get larger, but overall its pretty good challenge. I have included some gameplay above,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute, chill, relaxing game with a nice musical score and soothing narration with punny donut jokes, but also gives your brainsicles a lil work out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Freshly Frosted is a pretty good puzzle game but what really sells it is the cozy graphics and wonderful narration, offering little nudges to bring you along but mostly just chatting about donuts and the seasons with you. It is a very cute and relaxing game with some challenging puzzles and good music. Works perfectly on the Steam Deck and Linux, with very good controller support.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The music bops! Nice puzzle game. The mechanic with the teleporter that duplicates was bit hard to reason about due to how it interacts with the conveyors that spit out the copies. Sometimes I was expecting a particular donut to come out but a different one was appearing .
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the demo for this game during one of the Next Fests, and I fell in love. The full game is just as mesmerizing, just as soothing, and just as fun as the demo I played! Very well put together, no glitches or bugs to report early on, I know this is going to be a great time. It may seem easy, but get through the first box before you write this game off as too simple. It gets complicated. (Full disclosure, I turned off the narrative as soon as I could because I didn't really care about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an adorable game that seems simple at first, but the complexity of the puzzles ramps up nicely the longer you play. Each "box" of donuts introduces a new mechanic or modifies an older mechanic in some way, then leads the player through different puzzle featuring that mechanic, with ramping difficulty within each box. Each mechanic is clearly demonstrated, making it simple to pick up the game even after some time away. A nice chill puzzle game and a great way to spend an afternoon from…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really cute game about building the world's most inefficient donut factories. i wasn't sure how much i would like this because i'm not super great with spatial puzzles like this, and some of the later levels were more frustrating than fun for me (i found box 11 in particular really frustrating, as timing is an unstated part of making the cloning machine give the actual donut you want when you've merged two assembly lines, and i did not find this aspect of the cloning machines to be…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game in which I would describe as a very cosy, cute, and charming puzzle game about making donuts high up in the clouds. While it does seem simple at first, the later stages start adding more concepts to deal with while multitasking several different donuts to deliver. The narration is charming and the music is peaceful enough to help avoid getting frustrated at this game. If anything it really makes you crave donuts. It has a good amount of challenge and worth its price for complex…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As soon as I saw that this game was about making donuts, I knew it was for me. Puzzle games aren't usually my jam (or jelly if we're talking donuts), but I could not resist the siren's call of the donuts. The game is very creative with all it's donut transportation gadgets and its donut shapes. The puzzles also do a very good job easing you into any new mechanics and I never felt like there was a spike in difficulty or anything. Sometimes I was able to figure out the solution on my own and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cozy af c: Soundtrack is amazing. Added it to my wishlist
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you like puzzles, this game’s damn near perfect. very fun to wind down with, hit all the right spots in my brain box 11’s cloners need to get checked though, they’re either buggy or i couldn’t find the common cause of a type of donut not cloning to all of them, closest i got was it doesn’t clone a donut made on its own track, but even that seems to be wrong
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun brain teaser! The voice lines at the beginning of every level are cute. The hints and ability to skip certain puzzles is very helpful if you're just not having fun anymore trying to crack one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable (and delicious-looking) puzzle game, not perfect in its execution but still very enjoyable! I'm almost at 100% completion at the time of this writing and I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far though I am not sure I would play it all the way through a second time. Still worth the time and money nonetheless though!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly a very pleasant experience start to finish. The fresh mechanics for each box was lovely; the puzzles were hard but not infuriating; and even when I got stuck, coming back to the level after awhile and hearing the positive narration again helped a lot to keep me going. Well worth the asking price; a must-buy on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a time I have to flip my thumb. It hurts me to do so, but let me explain why. I left my previous review when I did recommend it below, but I have discovered a serious design flaw in the game that is just unacceptable. Granted i still love the game, but this flaw makes it something i won't recommend playing for puzzle lovers: You can be punished for being too efficient. There will be a point where you will have donuts looping back around and conveyor belts connecting. However too…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game with right amount of chilling experience and lots of calories. Honestly, I do not care much about donuts normally but I enjoyed playing this game. There are enough puzzles for not getting bored or being too short. Also, most of the puzzles are pretty easy, except the last levels of the last boxes. For some reason, I felt the same calming feeling when I was doing the crosswords at my childhood. Cute design and graphics are another plus to the simple but enjoyable atmosphere of the game. I…
