This game is nowhere near as good as the original Hello Neighbor. The missions often feel tedious, and I had a lot of trouble figuring out what to do. In fact, I had to look up a tutorial on YouTube just to finish the first map because I couldn’t figure out where to go or how to get past certain obstacles. Since it doesn’t have the same style or appeal as the main Hello Neighbor game, and because it often felt long, …

hello neighbor: hide and seek is supposed to be an emotional prequel about grief and family but all i felt was blind rage and a desperate need for therapy you’re playing hide and seek with a child who can smell fear and moves like a greased goblin every time you get caught, he steals your progress like a tax collector in footie pajamas and hides your stuffed animals across the most unhinged levels i’ve ever seen …

A true tragedy. An amazingly directed story where you play in the imagination of a child, and it provides amazing context for the rest of the series. This is seriously the most underrated Hello Neighbor game. Feels like most people just ignored it when it truly is an amazing experience. It has mediocre gameplay at times, and quite a lot of bugs, but it makes up for it with it's story. I'm excited to see Hello …

This Is My Childhood Game And I love It but The Game itself is far from perfect. they didn't really improve anything at all from the previous game. its all exactly the same, graphics, gameplay, everything but the story which is fine but with only about 2 minutes of cutscenes and no dialogue there is only so much you can tell the player. just like the previous game Physics are horrible, puzzles don't make any sense …

Though this game has it issues at the heart of it lies an absolutely wonderful story. The story of the Peterson family is tragic and the way Dynamic pixels goes about telling this tragedy with the metaphors and symbolism within the environment is done beautifully. But don't let that "Horror" tag fool you. This is not at all a horror game. It may have jump scares but it is in no way a horror title.

negative · AI labelView post →Is it just me or is the S&box sausage guys just trying to do what Hello Neighbor 3 is doing but much worse because it isn't a horror game and nothing else about the game is stylized like this everything's realistic
negative · AI labelView post →FORGOTTEN INDIES - Hello Neighbor Or rather, it's easy to forget that this game actually had a lot of promise when it was still getting worked on. The thing it's best remembered for today is how desperately they were trying to gain viewership for their short-lasting animated series.

They're past the point of venture capital, but years ago they already had an IPO worth millions and were still doing crowd-funding+EA+multi-account unpaid self-promotion. There's also the *Hello Neighbor* situation, and a decent amount of their other games on Steam have mixed reviews. For AI, I did stumble across [this](https://kotaku.com/tinybuild-hello-neighbor-chatgpt-ai-burnout-hr-monitor-1850640875): > At least one video game…

neutral · AI labelView post →Hello Neighbor is a prime example of someone trying so hard to ice skate uphill and launch lore-bits first and the game second but, as exaggerated as that developer was, that's the logical conclusion of a LOT of projects: begging for people to praise the lore, ARG, Easter eggs over the story itself.

negative · AI labelView post →I played this game right after playing the first Hello Neighbor Game, overall I really enjoyed this game! However I do think this game has an intended player base. This game is good for players who: enjoying solving puzzles, want to know more about the Hello Neighbor lore, enjoy playing games with strong stories, and enjoy games with a level system. I do not think this game is good for players who: Don't like difficult puzzles, aren't willing to send time thinking through the puzzle, and want…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was beta tester of Hide & Seek on iOS back in 2018-2019. Was also beta tester on Test Flight of the original Hello Neighbor. Since then I had only played original Hello Neighbor and Hello Neighbor 2 on game pass when it came out. A few days ago I decided to buy Hide & Seek because in Testflight (iOS beta), I was only able to play Act 1. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. There's a noticable set-up in puzzle making, these are more intuitive than original Hello Neighbor (never had a…

neutral · AI labelView post →i like the story a lot in this one, and the ending was pretty good, but im not a fan of the mechanics in this one, especially how you can lose some of your progress if you get caught. chase theme also very goofy cool concept, but the gameplay gets boring pretty fast and the cutscenes between + the last stage almost make up for it, but not enough unfortunately
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dislike this game because it gets EXTREMELY repetitive.

Beautiful game, a beautiful story. If you're wondering if you should get this or not, GET IT! It's so fun, and if you love lore it's even better. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so tedious it hurts, you just walk around an unreasonably big map looking for items with the occasional simple puzzle thrown in. And the kid isn't a good threat, he's just annoying. If I had bought this game for full price I would have refunded it, but thankfully I only got it for $5.

neutral · AI labelView post →Love this game, the last Hello Neighbor game that gives me nostalgia, all tho the Ai of the kid is horrible, way worse than the neighbor, but I enjoyed it, sadly its overpriced for the content because it can be finished in a day easily, and I got all the achivements, that was fun until "You should hide" achivement come because it was very hard to get, but luckily I got it. Overall the game was good and I liked how the creators make these secret errors.
