To put it simply: I love this game. I was a big fan of the original, and this sequel has done everything a second release should do. It fixed a lot of the issues I had with the first game, it added complexity and variety to the gameplay, and it added better game modes and high scoring structure. New Shores is more of the same, both in the good and bad way. After playing Islanders to a relative 'end', I was excited about this new iteration of the series. From the start the game has some good gameplay improvements, as well as a more solid art direction. The only thing that I personally desperately miss are dwellers of the cities you create - seeing little people\pets\cattle roaming the streets and terrain would breath life into your creations.
