Critics, per Wikipedia

Jurassic World Evolution received "generally favorable reviews" for the Xbox One and Switch versions, while the PC and PlayStation 4 versions received "mixed or average reviews", according to review aggregator platform Metacritic. Critics praised the dinosaurs featured in the game. Sam Loveridge of GamesRadar+ liked the variety as well as the cutscene that was displayed when a dinosaur is released from the incubation center. She enjoyed being able to control the jeep and the ACU helicopter from a third-person perspective, a mechanic she applauds for allowing players to relate to the dinosaurs. She added that she "lost entire evenings to [the game] without even thinking" due to its relaxing…

A good comedy bit is the game Jurassic World Evolution was described as a zoo, but worse, plenty of glitches and poor design choices, but they made a sequel knowing full well people wouldn't care about the disaster of the first one, which is just like how the parks work.

Installed an Intel Arc B580 GPU today. My main desktop, that I use to game on, is approaching 5 years old. It's a System76 Thelio Mira, and has been starting to show its age. I recently upgraded the CPU to the best I could get, without swapping motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. I upped the memory to 64 GB, and the last upgrade I could easily to is to replace my old NVidia GeForce RTX 2060. I've been trolling for an Intel Arc B580, mainly for the bang-for-the-buck performance. They have…

I've been playing not much else than city builders in the past year or two, for some reason. For Frostpunk that ended up being a strength, but not sure if I'd have just done a tutorial for Surviving Mars if I would have had fewer problems. I have like 400 hours in Satisfactory, some people consider it a city builder, I guess for resource management reasons. But there aren't cute…

Life, uh, finds a way. But it takes a while. It is a incredible concept, if not unfortunately scientifically absurd, to have the ability to bring back the beasts that once ruled our planet. And even more so to believe they can be tamed to the point where they allow us to encage them, nurture them and let us be entertained by their mere presence. Of course it is shown here that as circumstances can abruptly change, nature will show its true self and break free from our chains. The game at…
