Some players find the game fun and underrated, especially in co-op. [1][2][3] Many report technical issues like crashes and incompatibility with modern headsets. [4][5][6][7] Several reviewers note the game feels abandoned with no updates or fixes. [8][6][9][10]

An Underrated VR Gem from the Vive Days! Still Holds Up! Don't let the screenshots fool you, this is not yet another VR wave shooter. This is a decent size 3-4 hour campaign specifically built for VR. The guns feel and sound like Killing Floor 2, satisfying to use! Only thing that draws it back is the guns automatically reload on a button press. Not a HUGE deal to me, but definitely turns a lot of people off from …

This game is crazy fun, definitely suggested if you have a friend to play with. It takes a bit of time to set the settings right (setting up smooth locomotion, and disabling the comfort theater) but after that it is an amazing amount of fun! The bad reviews are from nerds with no friends and bad PCs.

Unfortunately due to game's being abandoned by the Team no fixes or patches will be released (not mentioned in the Game's description) there's no chance for majority to even launch the game on more or less modern specs (thanks to an old UE4 bug for 10th gen CPUs (both Intel and respective AMD)). If you want to give yourself a test - you're welcome to try and find a proper workaround (like Win environment vars …

I didn't have high expectations of this, but wanted to try, because I have hundreds of hours in KF1 and KF2. Doesn't work on either Virtual Desktop or Steam Link. No sound, crashes after the game title. Didn't try any of the highly technical "fixes" from discussion boards. It's not just me, the discussion board is full of threads about it not working. Tripwire is still around and still makes money off the IP, but …

Lots of extremely bizarre choices. Why in the ♥♥♥♥ is there a box surrounding you if you turn on free move? Why are grenades so difficult? Why are you SO SLOW? holstering things is almost impossible. No playerbase whatsoever it seems too. Game seems completely abandoned though which is sad because honestly it only needs a few fixes to go from uter garbage to good. It makes alot of "early VR" mistakes. Runs well …

The track features synths, but they are heavily overshadowed by a guitar that absolutely shreds and drums that bump! The energy is crazy, it's a tough track for a cool game 😎
neutral · AI labelView post →This track is the song "Death Marches" by zYnthetic! Killing Floor 2 was an awesome game! The game took everything great about Killing Floor and bumped it up a notch with new maps, weapons, graphics, and refined gameplay mechanics! The OST was certified tough as well 😤 it was an incredibly fun game!

Killing Floor 2 is an awesome game! ngl for a while it was a comfort game of sorts, I loved hopping on and tearing it up 😈 my class of choice was Sharpshooter! It was the same in the original Killing Floor as well 😅 I highly recommend KF2 tho!

Did not realize it killed the children I never had and Unreal is the devil that ruins every game... cool. The desire gamers have for a game to fail is at new highs...
positive · AI labelView post →Killing Floor markets itself as a survival horror game but in reality it's all sunshine and rainbows and funny voicelines up until you get caught by a fleshpound, some clots and a siren after taking the wrong turn around a corner then you start screaming.

positive · AI labelView post →Awful, AWFUL product on Quest 2. I'm a huge Killing Floor fan, I've 100%'d the first game solo and have a decent amount of hours in KF2, so when I got a Quest 2 for myself at Christmas I thought what better game to start out with than a Killing Floor VR game but boy was I wrong. First things first the controls are not designed with the Oculus controllers in mind, for example if you want to move you have to push the thumbstick in the direction and then push it in, awful, however I was willing…

neutral · AI labelView post →Can't say I'm surprised Killing Floor 3 flopped. They gutted everything that made that game what it was. I tried the free weekend and only made it an hour before just wanting to go back to playing 1 or 2 instead.
negative · AI labelView post →Tonight we played Killing Floor 3 as our game night The series has always been this strange mix of horror, comedy, and mayhem. While it's not at levels of Gary Busey being Santa in KF2 yet... It really comes together into fun mayhem punctuated with lots of-did you see that? Playing more this week
positive · AI labelView post →This is an outdated fast-paced early VR title with too many problems. Teleportation in this game is too slow. You are constantly dropping your gun and flashlight and trying to find them no matter what controller you use. The pace is too high with constant hordes of zombies that spawn endlessly out of thin air and rush you, even while you are trying to complete tasks in order to progress the story. Boss battles are also highly frustrating and pistols are TERRIBLY inaccurate and fire all over the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For Meta Quest users, as long as you use the Link from Meta, it works quite well even in 2025. Using Virtual Desktop is a mess of glitchiness for whatever reason, probably the difference between SteamVR and OpenXR implementations. Once I started using the Link feature on the Quest, it worked AMAZINGLY well for me, and it's so much fun. It's a wave shooter that's not too difficult but not easy either, I am having a blast!

neutral · AI labelView post →I really enjoyed the game for all 3.3h i played it with a friend (some of that time was just figuring out how to get the coop going). Tried the horde mode once but it really lacks something.. you know.. actual killing floor gameplay. This game is *insert generic shooter* with killing floor monsters (not even weapons or classes). Add classes + weapons + gamemode + actual bosses from killing floor and this game would be insane.

I wouldn't suggest picking it up unless you own a Vive and given reviews maybe not even then. Sad. I love the KF series, but the game has long been abandoned in a broken state.

neutral · AI labelView post →I couldn't get this game to work on Meta Quest 2 using Steam Link. Had to use Facebook's virus software, the Oculus App, to get it to run. Once in game, it had no idea I was using a completely different controller than a Vive Controller and I had no way to configure that in game. There are a few controller mapings that seem to try to solve the issue, but I was still asked to push buttons I didn't have on occasion. The game feels like abandon-ware, the forum only has 2 entries on the Incursion…

neutral · AI labelView post →KF2 is one of my top games of all time, so I'm super glad to have finally been able to try Incursion. First things first, using a Quest 3 and Steam Link the game crashes on launch instantly for me no matter what I do (even using the Intel CPU fix). I was able to use the Meta Quest Air Link app to launch Incursion that way and for some reason it worked flawlessly. A weird workaround but at least it functions. Tripwire as always has a cheeky sense of humor and the dialogue and story was a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros I finally get to pick up limbs. Sweet. Inspecting fresh chopped parts has never been so good. cons It has some of the cringiest movement I have ever experienced using a quest 2 headset. And yeah it does not even allow you to adjust position. If you are standing then you bound to find yourself steps away from your player's position due to frequently turning around. You will then see zeds attacking thin air while you take damage. Holstering guns and melees are stupidly hard and requires…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Killing Floor: Incursion is a VR shooter that understands a universal truth of human nature: when you read the words “in case of emergency, break glass,” you immediately feel the urge to break that glass. Much of its amusement derives from the freedom to indulge such giddy impulses — to pull the dangling pin of a grenade with one hand and to lob the bomb across the room with another, or to slide the chunky forend of a pump-action shotgun back and forth between squeezing off rounds. It…
