Players find Loddlenaut a charming and relaxing ocean cleanup game with cute creatures. [1][2][3] Many reviewers note the game is short, taking about 6-9 hours to complete. [4][5][6] Some players feel the price is too high for the amount of content. [6][7]

Golden addition to the evergrowing Cozy - Relaxing game genre. A simple premise - Clean up sea gunk and various junk and watch the region regrow and flourish to it's former glory. The addition of select-breeding Loddles really helped mix things up and provide some extra fun factor. In a nutshell: Loddlenaut is exactly "What you see is what you get", a calming cleanup game to unload stress and relax at your own pace!

Pros: The loddles are super cute and make you want to collect more. The oxygen losing mechanism isn’t too difficult, as long as you figure out that you can inhale bubbles to keep it up Upgrade system is satisfying and has a good pace that make you feel excited to keep going Perfect length game where it doesn’t get too repetitive Really satisfying to clean up the whole ocean You can make little toys and snacks to …

If like me you are too much of a wuss to play games like Subnautica, but you still crave underwater exploration, this game is perfect <3 the loddles are so cute and the cleaning is super satisfying, its like house flipper and slime rancher had an ocean-themed baby - highly recommend, its delightful 10/10

Loddlenaut is a very good game where you have to clean the sea, recycle the trashs to upgrade the equipments and find some cutes loddles and grow them to maturity to discover some new species. The soundtrack is relaxing and the pixel design is really nice. I highly recommend this game! 💙

This is a wonderful, beautiful game (with pixelizaton disabled). It took me about 9 hours to 100%. The game was surprisinly deeper than expected. It was really enjoyable to gradually work on restoring the environment and taking care of the creatures. Incredible value. It ran well, no issues.

Thought I'd do it again this year! What games did you complete (or just play a lot of)? What did you think about them? Highlights? Lowlights? Might be a good chance to find some hidden gems while the Steam sale is on too. I finished a surprisingly large number of games this year. Sorted by date completed, oldest first... **A Short Hike |…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a game I played in my time in need and a very low point of my life. I wasn't going to work, wasn't really looking after myself and I had this game in my library for a while. I just thought to play, as I have many chill games in the depts of my library, when I felt I needed to. It helped...somehow just playing it little by little, no leader boards, no score no time limit just chill. Maybe it was due to the fact I could look after the Loddles that it subconsciously made me realise why…

positive · AI labelView post →No stress no timers just me, my chaotic signals and my tiny blob army that respects my questionable authority better than most humans ever would. Incredibly cutesy game that makes you scream ‘aww’ at the screen. 10/10, would let jelly marshmallows overthrow my life again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is adorable, and a completionist's dream. 100%ing this game was so much fun. Nothing ever felt like a chore or a side quest. I only wish there was a DLC or something to explore other planets! I want more Loddlenaut. W game.

positive · AI labelView post →Yesterday my ten-year-old forced me to play a game out of his Steam library. I promptly sat down and finished it in one sitting. Loddlenaut is enchantingly sweet...like my kid :) Anyhoo I also reviewed it for Geekiary bc I loved it so much!
positive · AI labelView post →A bit mixed review but I think I had fun for 3 hours so more towards recommend. Pros: game runs smoothly. the game design is very cute. It is satisfying to watch nature return after you clean dirty spots. Little creatures thriving and eating food were wonderful to watch. gathering trash was rewarding as they are used to upgrade cleaning tools. I liked the mild post-apocalyptic vibe cleaning a polluted and abandoned ocean without other humans in sight. Finding employee cards was enjoyable as…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and sweet! Finished up the main story in 6-7 hours and took an extra hour or so to 100%. The gameplay is simple, but the progression and exploration are very well paced. It's a nice low pressure, cozy game that feels satisfying to pick up for a hour or so at at time. The map is easy to navigate and I never felt confused on what to do next. The story doesn't have a ton of depth to it or anything, but it's cute and feels rewarding to finish. Ran great on my steamdeck and the controls…

My son (6yrs) also absolutely adores the game and is steadily working through it too. He loves the loddles and spends much more time playing with them than I do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished EasyDeliveryCo [email protected] This is an incredible cute relaxing and also deep game, especially story wise. neutral · AI labelView post →Loddlenaut Completed Jan 12th 2024 One I played off-stream, just for meeee. It's cute! I don't really like all the mechanics for taking care of creatures, not really here for that. But I enjoyed the cleaning aspect until some trash got stuck in the map and stopped me from 100%ing the game. V GOOD

As a fan of PowerWash Simulator, did they enjoy this galactic cleaning game? Link: giantbomb.com/users/4945/a... #gaming #indiegame #giantbomb #loddlenaut
neutral · AI labelView post →This was one of my favorite games I've played in a long time. It's the perfect combination of an underwater Powerwash Simulator and a small-scale Subnautica (but every creature is some variation of an axolotl). The style is SO charming and despite the fact the game is relatively short, it's so easy to fall in love with. I got this game on sale, but I absolutely think I'd pay full price.

neutral · AI labelView post →I love this game and the spirit of it. Spent many hours meticulously cleaning with the help of my beloved little loddles. I even went so far as to making myself a spreadsheet just to figure out how to get what loddle I wanted, but that's just because it sparked a passion in me to do so - you honeslty probably won't need the spreadsheet yourself. My only regret is that it ends way sooner than I'd like. I would love to see more updates or even a sequel game! (Or prequel?) It's a very lovely cozy…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🎮 Loddlenaut 🎮 This is a game about exploring an aquatic planet covered in human garbage. You're here to clean up the garbage and become friends with the planet's native creatures. I thought it was cute, calming, and very satisfying to sort the trash. Highly recommend!
positive · AI labelView post →The chillest game I might have ever played. Very fun and addicting, I love the little animations and sound effects for picking up trash! Satisfying upgrade system and I really appreciate that you're using recycled materials to make your upgrades rather than buying them with money, very refreshing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little game about ecology and corporate irresponsibility. Pros: movement feels good, cleaning up trash feels satisfying (certainly moreso than in my own house unfortunately). The loddles are certainly cute. Cons: ocean pun but the game is narratively and mechanically shallow. The game takes a sort of "whoopsie-piddles" attitude to corporations trashing an ecosystem and then just leaving, although given how easy the cleanup is maybe that tracks. Despite being right in the title, the…
