No mouse + keyboard controls should be considered a federal crime or a divine sin. Also even ignoring that when changing the movement to wasd from direction controls some buttons still account direction controls even though you changed them to wasd. Soooo yeah this sucks if you dont have a controller dont even try

Highly recommend. I played this as a local co-op. Super easy learning curve. Any mistakes you make still count as XP and resources to upgrade your stats. If one of you wipes out in the dungeon, no worries! Your partner just has to survive a couple seconds for you to respawn to full health! If you both end up dying in a dungeon, no worries! You’re both transported back to the beginning with full health, and all the …

Yes, okay, this game IS quite grindy in its mechanisms, but it's the fun sort of grind. There are many "classes" (forms) in the game, and you're not only encouraged but REQUIRED to mix, match and create your own builds that are both fun for you and can beat the different challenges the game throws at you (one of my favorites was a fire breathing bodybuilder that can also shoot homing missiles all around him). The …

I played the whole game entirely co-op and it was really enjoyable. My only issues were that I would prefer a better quality on at least the main dungeon bossfights instead of a generic minion that is just larger. The other issue was the shared pause menu between the players. If each player had their own separate menu, that they could open independently from each other, then it would lead to a smoother experience. …

10/10 Nobody Saves the World is pure, unhinged joy!! 1 min I’m a rat nibbling ankles, the next minute I’m a Bodybuilder drop-kicking monsters or a magician pulling bunnies out of his hat! The absurd combos possible and dungeon chaos are just the reason to play this game. Truly the most fun I’ve ever had being Nobody

87% of the 182 Steam reviewers we collected recommend Nobody Saves the World. The complaint that keeps coming up: grindy gameplay loop. Deal-breaker or nitpick?
Critics, per Wikipedia
Nobody Saves the World received "generally favorable reviews" according to review aggregator Metacritic. Game Informer enjoyed how the game forced the player to constantly change their loadout, "Every dungeon sports a dangerous modifier, which often upset my preferred loadout... The various modifiers made me appreciate the breadth of customization and experimentation for every form". Destructoid liked the cartoon-inspired visuals, writing that the game, "injects a ton of personality into basically every facet of its being. The animation is fantastic: like something straight out of a Cartoon Network show, with characters who have exaggerated, over-the-top emotive reactions". PC Gamer praised…

Anyways, Nobody Saves the World is really neat. Dungeon crawly, transform into lots of characters, colorful, silly, from the Guacamelee folks.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Did you say theymade a coach coop game on PC ??? Great idea, the story is fun, the graphics are also fun and the gameplay is simple but has some depth to it still with the mobs ressistances. I would say it is a great introduction to people who are not used to ARPGs but people who are more hardcore gamers won't have enough depth in the game as there is virtully no engame (NG+). But if you wanna have fun for 10/20h with a friend in the same room it's cool.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an alright game, but to be honest it's a bit boring for me. But probably the worst thing is that in the first hour of play, at least twice stealthy 'heyy, maybe buy a dlc?' popped up at me and I just do not appreciate that. (stealthy - quest takes you somewhere, you try and enter, and it takes you to buy stuff) Art is fine, storyline is **shrug**, combat is kinda interesting. Nothing that would grip me and get me to finish it.

neutral · AI labelView post →If you like co-op games, and especially if you like same screen couch co-op games, my wife and I have been playing Nobody Saves the World, a cartoony Diablo-ish game, and it’s both funny and fun to play. Definitely gets a recommendation from us.

neutral · AI labelView post →I wouldn't say the game is bad, in fact, I loved the idea of switchable characters and mixing and matching their skills. That part was genius, and I gotta say I genuinely had a lot of fun with it. That said, I wouldn't recommend the game, because after a while, I was so sick of it, it made me wonder what I was doing with my life. The game's world is painfully uninspired. It has this ironic fantasy vibe, where you have knights using vending machines, talking internet-speak and fighting in an…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its wacky, interesting, but its not a game I would spend time or money on. I bought it at first to play with a friend then we found that the core game play loop is basically grinding to unlock more skills and level up for characters which would be great except there are too many characters and I think some of them are a little lacking because the idea is that you can transform into anything, but its not exactly that is it. Its more like "grind to transform into the next step of this unlockable…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I often try a game less than 2hours to see if I should get refunded. The game and it's gameplay are fine but that's it. I fekt like "meh" when I launched it and still feels like this after nearly 2 hours. The goofyness feels forced and not my kind of humor. Also some forms are wonky and fun but nothing stands out. Fighting as a distance is a real nightmare even with the "lock direction"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cant even play the game because of the blur at the sides of the screen. Gives me a headache. And there is no option to remove it... very unfortunate

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone else had said in the reviews, this game is seriously underrated and provides lots of hours of silliness and fun! The humor is pretty on-point, and there were a few references and jokes that caught me off guard. I played through the entire game with a friend (including NG+), so the screen was sometimes pretty chaotic, but it was fun seeing different synergies we'd come up on the spot or help cover each other's weaknesses. :) I can't say much for single-player, but I'm sure it's just…

This game actually encourages, even forces, you to constantly try different playstyles. I feel like this game should be included in design classes for how to encourage people to try new gameplay styles. And it's really fun to find different interactions between all the passives and skills that you unlock. Not that it isn't ithout its…

I also found the dlc to be a nice twist, making it work like a puzzle game where you need to find the optimal combo to get the best scores. It also has great humor lol.

However, while it still deserves a thumbs up, in my experience I found that for several aspects it does right, there are a few important ones holding it back. The quest system also works in pushing the player to make the best use of each form, and of the feature to mix and match their abilities, with a huge number of possible builds for every situation. There is something to do at any…
