Maybe it's just me no longer being a teenager, but I feel like the more you value your time, the less you are going to enjoy Persona series. The overall style, music and characters are awesome. The story as far as I got was fine, though it would definitely score better, had I still been a high-schooler myself. The problem is that Persona 5 is a massive time sink and although there is an awful lot of things to do, …

If I could steal anyone's heart into getting this game, I would've. This is the kind of game where the feeling of bittersweetness just overwhelms you when the end credits starts playing. The story, music, immersive world, and most importantly the bonds you've forged with the characters, will remain in your heart long after the journey ends.

I played Persona 5 Royal nearly a decade after playing the original. The game didn’t change, but I did. I first played the original version of Persona 5 on a PS4 that was a graduation gift for me. It was a physical copy I borrowed from my sister’s friend. They were in the middle of their finals and didn’t have time to play, so I was fortunate enough to experience it during its first week. This detail feels important because I was in a completely different place in life back then. It’s been…

Before Persona 5 Royal, I had never played a JRPG before and never had any particular interest in the genre. Shortly before getting into this game, I had just finished Expedition 33, which already had some JRPG elements incorporated into it, so I at the very least had a rough idea of what I was getting myself into. And I can say with certainty now that it was absolutely worth the time and money spent. The game starts off pretty slow, it holds your hand for the first couple of hours,…

Persona 5 Royal, the Game that stole my heart When I started the game on December 2024, I wasn't really familiar with how ATLUS Games work and I was really overwhelmed of how the game works, there was so much to do and as a perfectionist, I always wanted to do the right thing which made me not know how to play the game correctly. That unfortunately, made me stop playing the game for a while for multiple times and start other games, and also not to forget I started on a hard difficulty and I…

Persona 5 is a really fantastic Japanese RPG. Originally releasing 10 years ago, this game has directly influenced a lot of more recent RPG's that you may have played. Maybe it's just me no longer being a teenager, but I feel like the more you value your time, the less you are going to enjoy Persona series. The overall style, music and characters are awesome. The story as far as I got was fine, though it would definitely score better, had I still been a high-schooler myself. The problem is that Persona 5 is a massive time sink and although there is an awful lot of things to do, it's really mostly an illusion created by splitting the same activities, setting…

Persona 5 Royal was my first Japanese RPG, and all I can say is: wow, wow, wow. What impressed me most was the incredible depth of the game. At its core, Persona 5 Royal is about friendship and the connections you build with other people. If you don't enjoy reading dialogue, this probably isn't the game for you. But for me, all of that character development is exactly what made the experience so immersive. The relationships feel surprisingly fresh and most major characters are interesting in…

This is the first game in a long time that really captured my attention enough for me to complete a whole playthrough, and it was extremely fulfilling for me. Before playing P5R, I had minimal exposure to the Persona series and it's somewhat unique gameplay loop. The story, the characters, the music, the level design, it all culminates into this carefully crafted experience that has you emotionally invested in all of the characters and side characters lives, all while jamming out to what is an…

I love going to school and hanging out with my 35 year old therapist man friend, who I give advice to. I love going to the sketchy bar after school to hang out with my burnout alcoholic woman friend, who I also give advice to. I love going to the building of ambiguous purpose in the red light district to hang out with my homeroom teacher, who I give advice to as well.

The Good: Stunning Soundtrack: Honestly, some of the best music I’ve ever heard in a game. Gameplay Loop: The seamless transition between daily life and high-stakes action is brilliant. Multiple Endings: The variety here is spot on and adds real weight to your choices. Story & Characters: A solid historical feel with good character arcs that stay engaging throughout. The Bad: Pacing Issues: Given the length, the character development could’ve been even deeper. Filler Dialogue: Some…

9.5/10 Experience (0.5 minus because of that one annoying CEO boss) Man this game was so so good that for 70 hours straight it had my full attention...Story was very entertaining,thought-provoking and introspective....The cast felt like close friends...Leblanc felt like a second home and the music is so good & relaxing that I play it in my daily life activities as bgm haha After the credits rolled...I felt empty because this game honestly felt like a cozy hug on my bad days...Exploring palaces…

This game is disappointing Before I start, I just want to say that the Persona 5 fanbase, in particular, can be quite passionate about this game in different ways. This often results in a situation where, whenever someone doesn’t like Persona 5, they are immediately called a ragebaiter. Personally, I would like to enjoy the games I buy, especially pricey ones like Persona 5, so I don’t really have a reason to purposefully slander a game. Everyone has different opinions about different things.…
