It literally doesn't work. Steamlink it just crashes, VD the controls are broken, VD with steam API and I get a black screen. Who the hell decided to release this on Steam? Did you even test it on any headset outside of Oculus Link and Steam? How the hell does the NATIVE STEAM OPTIONS not work. This game should honestly be taken down because how the hell does a steam game not work with steam link. One of the only …

I’m not kidding, this is the most enjoyable VR game I’ve ever played. It’s a game that every VR owner should try. Games like Boneworks and Alyx had given me an incredible amount of enjoyment before, but this game feels like it blends the best parts of all of them. When playing Boneworks, the physics were honestly the best, but the story felt like it barely existed. And Alyx, well, that hardly needs to be said: …

Everyone knows this game had a very rough launch on PCVR. I played two hours on Airlink and got soft locked because of a bug. I almost decided to try and refund the game, but those two hours I played had me hooked. So I gave the game another chance, this time using Virtual Desktop instead of Airlink. This really made the games graphics shine. I love the aesthetics of the game. I am so glad I gave the game another …

I'd give this an "eh" if steam had one, but ultimately I'm going to lean towards positive to encourage VR devs to continue making VR games. The core gameplay here really is quite engaging; climbing in VR is fun enough, but upon enhancing it with grappling, leaping, moving objects, running, jumping, and so on it really does get to another level (there's a little jank in the movement, but not so much that it ruins …

Unbelievably cool game. Fantastic utilization of what VR is capable of imho. People sensitive to motion sickness or a fear of heights might want to approach this with caution but otherwise this is one of those games that really showcases the potential of how cool things can be in VR. The exotic environments with stunning graphics along with the scale and immersion is super impressive but the parkour, solving puzzles …

With Beyond the Reach, I've had a good excuse to be playing it a lot again and rediscovering what fired me up about the game in the first place. This is a marvelous review and well worth the wait.

neutral · AI labelView post →Rating: 2/10 I really wanted to like Reach, but it feels like a relic from a decade ago rather than a modern VR title. Here is why you should skip it: The Movement: The wall-jumping mechanics are horribly implemented. They feel clunky, unresponsive, and frankly, frustrating. In a VR game where movement should feel intuitive, this is a dealbreaker. Lazy World-Building: The immersion is completely shattered the moment you look through a window. Instead of actual 3D environments, there’s just a…

Makes playing the game ultra difficult/confusing in comparison to other games that support these controllers. This needs to be fixed. Can't recommend it yet because the prologue is impossible, especially when trying to aim the gun/bow.

Also gave the PSVR2 version a try, and got soft locked after about 1.5 hours. After 2 attempts, I'm done. Definitely don't want to start a new game again. I'm very disappointed since I was anticipating this game since the announcement, but they shouldn't have released this game in this state. A delay would've been good. If you plan on buying it best wait until a patch or 2. I'm sure they'll get things…

VR development is neither easy or a guaranteed success, people invest a lot of time and these people did not use some 2 poly assets and called it 9,99 Survival Bottom. Graphics and performance are playable. The story is interesting and world feels really nice. I played so many vr titles that I got used to that movement quick some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played the first couple of hours and this is a great example of VR gaming. As others said the Index controller bindings are broken out the box, but I published fixed bindings earlier today. A real shame the devs didn't take more care with the finishing touches, so far the game is of great quality, they should have made sure it actually worked with standard things like Index controllers or Virtual Desktop though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is actually driving me kind of insane, this was in EVERY gaming news article on the game. Did none of these journalists or their editors double-check this very basic information or even REACH OUT TO THE DEVS?
neutral · AI labelView post →Let me get right to it: The graphics are alright, the overall movement is fine and reminds me of the Batman VR game on the Quest 3, but despite this, it still feels unpolished in some areas, like the enemies or the gun handling. The graphics, while nothing crazy, can look nice, but on the epic and even high settings, I experience quite the frame dip, and I have a 9070 XT, so basically the usual UE5 performance that you get to expect... Other than that, there's an issue with spawning out of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disappointed, the game is fun enough but the save and bugs are too much. I had to restart multiple times from a backup save until for some reason the game saved over my backup to a spot super early in the gameplay. I am just too frustrated to continue. This should not be happening in a game that has been out for 4 months. NDreams, you are beginning to really disappoint. Not sure if I will be buying any of your jank in the future.

I’ve never had a good experience using Meta Air Link anyways so I figured I would ignore the Virtual Desktop issues and try that app…as VD has never let me down and is by far the best Airlink app for VR… I had no issue getting the game to run using Virtual Desktop…mind you my GPU is only a 3070 so graphics are set to Medium…but the game looks…

I’m disabled and play from bed and I’ve never been this immersed. The feel in this game is amazing! The arm movement for jumping is painless and it evokes audible sounds of wonder and joy from me. The graphics are simply stunning. While I’ve run across a couple small glitches, it’s nothing that has shorted my fantastic journey so far. Playing on a quest 3 with cable link.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an amazing experience so far. This reminds me of a time when we had Lone Echo 1 and 2, Asgards wrath, and all the original VR games that really defined VR. I understand there are bugs but I hate to see these guys put so much heart into a game and the reviews make it look horrible. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Save files corrupt Important NPC's permanently freeze, soft-locking etc. By the low standards of VR, I'd call this a pretty decent game if it actually worked, and was priced lower. • Start drags on. • Character talks a biit to much sometimes. • Sound design on certain things nearly hurts my ears (the running sound is like a high pitch steam engine in your ears for no reason). • Controls can feel a bit unresponsive. • Some areas and enemies feel a bit unfinished. • Bow feels a bit unintuitive…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like others, I've had some challenges getting the game to launch and play smoothly. I started out buying and playing the Quest 3 standalone version, and there were no issues with it. However, once I saw a comparison between Quest 3 and PCVR, I refunded the Quest 3 version and went for the SteamVR version. Ideally, I want to play the game using Virtual Desktop as it has WAY better visuals / performance than Airlink or SteamLink. Frankly, Airlink is the worst of the three wireless streaming…

Maybe it was "Objective: Survive" that cinched it lmao
positive · AI labelView post →Best climbing VR game? Beautiful graphics especially the environments and lighting (playing with everything on max except AA on Bigscreen Beyond). Sort of Mirror's Edge meets Tomb Raider. Had to customize Index controls a bit but once dialed in, it feels good to travel through this adventure. Also nice use of gesture mechanics to summon drone, shield and mini map. The game is generous with health/ammo/bomb pick-ups and checkpoints (no annoying runbacks). The puzzles are fairly straightforward…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Could've been my GOTY if it had a smoother launch. I got hit by softlocks, early on. Which broke what I started out expecting to be a total binge-worthy game. Playing on a SomniumVR1 (SteamVR native) Index controllers. Performance was fine. Grip is no problem. Fluid parkour. I got into the story on launch. The VA is almost entirely solid throughout (see below for when it wasn't). Music is great. My biggest issues now that the game-halting softlocks are avoidable: • Respawn locations…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my opinion it's one of the best VR games; when it works. Prefer to use Steam link but I am forced to Air link for the game to work, otherwise it runs well for me. Would hate to see it fail just because of the Virtual desktop and Steam link issues. This is one of the few games, that really focuses on the VR mechanics, that's what I love to see.

positive · AI labelView post →Looks good, feels good to play, movement/climbing is well executed, combat is okay... But the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy save system ruins it completely! Had to replay 1h+ in the first 2 hours because upon reloading a checkpoint the enemies disapperaed, and the objective/progression trigger was "Eliminate enemies". negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is broken, but even worse, this is just a terrible game in so many ways, even if they fix the most broken parts you are still stuck with some of the worst VR combat ever made So I was kinda enjoying the early parkour, then the bad guys came up. 1. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Recommended It took me hours just to get the game running, and when it finally launched, I realized setup wasn’t the only problem. The game feels unfinished — maybe 70% of actions have no sound effects at all. Maybe it’s Quest Link, maybe it’s my PC, but the result is a weirdly silent experience that kills immersion. The climbing sections are way too long and quickly become dull, which is a shame because there’s some potential buried in here. Verdict: $60 for a dull, unfinished, and…
