What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 42 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (49 of 52 positive).
Players widely praise Titan Isles as a worthy successor to Windlands 2, with enhanced movement and combat. [1][2][3] The four Exo-Suits are a highlight, offering distinct playstyles and high replay value. [1][4][5] Some reviewers report difficulty spikes and bugs, such as clipping out of bounds. [6][7][8]

Went in as a fan of Windlands 2 and left disappointed with the lack of polish and thought put into the gameplay. The concept is great, and I was initially very hyped when I saw all the different suits and their abilities, but there were major issues with the game that made me refund after 45 minutes, and I don't refund games often. I managed to clip out of bounds 3 times in my first 15 minutes of playing, and I …

I think Psytec Games knocked it out of the park with Titan Isles. This feels like a successor to Windlands 2, but with all of the good parts enhanced. There are 4 different suits to choose from, all with their own unique abilities. This really changes up the gameplay and makes it fun since you will do your runs differently based on who you choose. Overall the graphics are pretty good and the music is great. There is …

Absolutely epic! (Played on Quest 3 native + PC VR) Titan Isles nails everything that makes VR gaming awesome – nonstop movement, adrenaline, and pure team energy. You can feel the love and attention to detail the moment you jump in. The four Exo-Suits all play completely differently - from a fast jetpack scout to a heavy tank-style bruiser - and each one feels fantastic in motion. The boss fights are massive, …

Windlands 2 was one of my all-time favorite VR games, and Titan Isles is a worthy successor. The most fundamental changes from the Windlands series are an increased focus on combat and a choice of 4 different exo suit types that each have their own movement and combat mechanics. If you want to play the game as if it were Windlands 3 you can use the Hunter suit with grappling hooks and a bow and arrow that will feel …

It's Windlands, but modernized and with a LOT more features. 4 classes to pick from now instead of everyone being bows and hookshots. Pretty solid variety for weapon types and mobility types. Really enjoying it so far.

Players who liked Titan Isles talk about excellent movement and aerial combat mechanics; those who didn't talk about some bosses are too difficult, especially solo. Which matters more to you?

Psytec Games says a PSVR 2 version is also still in development and set to launch sometime in 2026. Here’s how the studio describes the action in Titan Isles: Titan Isles is set on the planet of Toska, a vibrant world abound with diverse biomes. Mysterious Titans awaken from deep within the planet, shattering Toska to ruins as they…

The community have been nothing but nice when there have been spaces for them to jump into a game I am playing. My only wish for this gem of a game is that one day it enables a larger group than 4 to go into a game together. I love all of the little hidden secrets which r in the most unexpected places. This feels like a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Runs smooth, with large scale arenas, sporting an excellent thrill of aerial flight (& combat), and as an old school Quake player, I appreciate the fast-paced shooting gallery. I've even played with my kids and they love it (as young as 5), as it's one of those games where it's easy to talk and fight the myriad enemies together while flying around the massive levels. It's just a great ol' bash and after 30 hours, I finally clocked my first class (Storm) and will be moving onto the rest, with…

The mechanics feel so good and it rewards you for getting good at it. It's easy to pick up, but so rewarding when you master it. I enjoy playing the Storm the most. Fuel management while shooting and dodging in the air is insanely fun. Basically anything gameplay related is great. Now what I didn't like...The eyes... The eyes on all the humanoid characters are so wonky and out…

EDIT Summer 2026: Been working with the creator, Jon Hibbins, to make that game even better now, there is a 5th suit coming in game soon. This game is a pure VR GEM for those with solid VR legs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I honestly love this game. First of all it does have a voice acted campaign which is pretty cool, plus other game modes if you want to race your friends in some fun competitions. Has the same movement style of Wildlands 2 and in VR feels amazing. It's actually pretty fun to fly around in those huge levels and can be very challenging if you don't properly upgrade your suit. Graphics is not very sophisticated but it's very polished, and performance wise should run smooth pretty much on every…

Seven years on from Windlands 2, it's been over a month since Psytec lifted the curtain on Titan Isles, and you can see the parallels between them. Whether you're playing alone or in co-op with four people, both games involve exploring a ruined world as you fight various titans throughout the campaign. A few similarities, yet there are key differences that distinguish these games. Titan Isles is currently confirmed for Quest and PC VR, and…

There is a lot of PvP and Solo adventure, but few do it right like this IMO. Titan Isles is fun solo or with friends. Looks great, sounds great, feels great, and is fun. Plus there is a ton of replay ability. All-in-all it checks all my boxes. Great job team!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only played it for an hour or so but really enjoying the gameplay and movement- I’m playing the character with jet pack and it works really well. Visuals and music are great- epic sense of scale and depth! Very happy with my purchase
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yeah. It shows me Titan Isles, Into Black, Portal 2, The Lab, and Aperture Hand Lab, with the last two being free tech demos. Adding this since it seems like the list may be somewhat location dependent, so those seeing fewer titles can tell what's missing.
neutral · AI labelView post →Titan Isles is one of the most immersive games I've played in over a decade in the VR space. I love that you can play the game essentially with four different styles of gameplay and that the developers continue to add and expand to the game with themed events and additional content.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Titan Isles was a pretty decent game. I only played singleplayer. I found one class especially fun in singleplayer — the one with the jetpack that lets you jump and fly. It made the levels feel open and large, giving a strong sense of scale. The other classes weren’t as fun for me, but if you get good at them, they’re probably enjoyable too. They also felt more fun when you had teammates who picked different classes. The controls work perfectly in my opinion. There’s absolutely no jank in this…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, this is a tough one... Playing this solo is not easy, especially in the beginning when your suit can't do enough damage and/or movement. Even more if you play with the "Hunter" suit - the bow is just super weak against bosses and your grappling hooks have initially very limited range. I was hoping for "Windlands 3" kind of game, but this is fighting for you life, no time to enjoy the scenery! All that hover changes in the Multiplayer (coop), which makes the game much easier and very…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a huge Windlands fan I came into this game with certain expectations but this is defo not Windlands 3 although you can play as hunter (one of four classes) with the well known grabble mechanics. It felt ok but the arenas are not designed just for the hunter. Some parts feel a bit difficult and right now the 2nd boss is undefeatable playing as a hunter (insta death by huge lasers, not dogable). That said, I then tried playing as Goliath (jetpack + shield) and it felt easier and more fun.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun, great vr mechanics and movement options with the suits. Somewhat limited weapons but the upgrade skill trees seem to add cool replayability. Multiple routes per level, full co op. The graphics style is fine and is well optimized. neutral · AI labelView post →This game is just not fun. You just don't put out the damage to deal with even the most basic enemies. It taking 20 to 30 seconds of firing away at max speed to kill one normal enemy as it tries to kill you is not fun. The movement is also fine, but if you pick a less mobile class to try to fix the low potential DPS you will feel it without getting the firepower to make up for your lack of movement. I played 3 of the 4 classes and I just don't see a reason to want to play any of them.

Games like this are what VR is made for. And the devs are still rolling out updates which is awesome. Co-op works great and there are so few amazing co-op VR titles out there. Rarely can I say a game is worth its full asking price. You'll especially enjoy it if you liked Windlands 2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great multiplayer game. The movement mechanics were challenging and fun. I liked the variety of “suits” you could wear and switch between at any time, which gave you varied combat styles and movement mechanics. It kept it quite fresh and fun and made the runs all feel quite different (some suits are WAY harder than others 😆). Some of boss fights could be quite challenging, which was enjoyable. I plan to play through this game again soon and take advantage of the most recent update.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Now this third game in the Windlands series finally hits the sweet spot. Offering radically different classes that move around differently from the usual grapple swinging mechanic from the first two games is a lifesaver for many, and will offer variety too for multiplayer. As someone suffering from motion sickness from some VR games, the first one hit me hard, the second one was a bit better, and this one I can definitely see as something I can finally play through.
