this game has so many issues, i don't recommend it. and it also feels very lacking and bland. i wasn't having fun with it as a speedrunning game, and approaching it at a slower pace was not great either. movement feels bad, deaths and mistakes often felt like the fault of how the character controls rather than my own fault. some of the level design makes it feel like there are intentional 'surprise deaths'. like the …

Fast and fluid platformer that is easy to pick up and play, but with a high skill ceiling. Levels range from easy to quite challenging, and they're short enough that you'll want to replay them to get a better time. Very strong visuals and presentation! 10/10 would overthrow the aristocracy again

Sacre Bleu is fast, elegant, and just the right amount of unhinged. Sacre Bleu borrows the most fun mechanics from games like Ori and the Blind Forest—fast traversal, slick combat, tight controls—and crams them all into the first hour. It doesn’t hold your hand. Instead of slowly introducing one mechanic at a time, it throws you into the deep end with nothing to loose. The result? A slightly steep learning curve, …

I bought this game on a referral from a friend who stated that one of the creators has a diverse ability (is a power chair user) Support diverse abilities. It is a good game, easily accessible. I have a diverse ability myself and some games are too challenging. This game was easy to control the characters and move through the stages with my controller. I only played the first level and other levels look more challenging, which looks fun and makes me want to play more.

Well, you’re in luck! Sacre Bleu deliveres incredibly fun and tight platforming, akin to that of Super Meat Boy and Oni, but with new mechanics to make it a completely unique experience. It's an excellent platformer, the bullet time feature is great and they do make great use of it. First thing that comes to mind: the gameplay is rich. You can * deflect attacks like Ori’s Bash, * throw enemies (very satisfying when it creates "bowling ball" effect) * shoot with bullet‑time precision, * toss grenades, and more. To encourage you to use all of these mechanics, there’s a scoring system. The game is far more ambitious and deeper than it first appears. The backgrounds are gorgeous, and I really appreciate the Rayman‑esque, cartoony character designs. Exactly like the latest…

It's not bad but gets a bit stale after a bit. Its unique using the blunderbuss to move around, although it sometimes can be finnicky in practice. Theres fighting but its basically useless since you can just skip the fights. It's nice how the game can be made for speedrunners and has scoring but also isn't forced on you for people like me who couldn't possibly care less. It is dumb how secrets are required to progress further in the game, that makes no sense. Also I did run into some bugs that…

Sacre Bleu is a very enjoyable and whimsical platformer that surprised me in many ways. I was at first apprehensive about it due to the trailer emphasising how it is tailored towards speedrunning, but that it just one facet of the experience. Each level has you dashing and slashing through a beautiful and whimsical take on the Bastille, dispatching bands of foes and navigating puzzles of increasing complexity, all while being bombarded by the most silly of puns. The controls are both…

Really bad game design here. Even the basic attack grinds time to a halt to use it. If the game was designed around quick movement, it would have been much better. Difficulty spikes are everywhere, checkpoints can be pretty sparse at times. The game will offer no challenge 80% of the time. A ton of obstacles can be easily cheesed. It's the kind of game where the camera will zoom in and kill the player, but then the level easy beaten the next try. Really think it would have been Better if the…

Good fun! Pleasantly silly, a fun platforming gimmick, and a simple combat system that builds into some genuinely awesome, and chaotic fights. I'm not a speed running kinda guy, so my time with this is likely done now that I've beaten the final boss; but it's kept me well entertained and frustrated for the 5 hours I spent with it. My only warning is that this isn't optimised for mouse and keyboard (there can be trouble tracking the mouse at the very edges of the screen), but you can muddle…

Incredible fast-paced action platformer What sets this game apart from many other platformers is that performing well in the combat sequences will give you a bonus in the form of a time deduction - so you can earn up to 10 seconds of time just taken off your timer per combat. This means that you not only have to get from A to B, you have to carefully plan out the combat sequences and manage your ammunition to achieve the best time. I think this game is a great take on the action-platformer…

I am really enjoying Sacre Bleu so far. I like the cartoony graphics and that the setting is not yet another viking, medieval or samurai world. The settings is revolutionary France. Lots of musketeer antics. You've got a sword, a blunderbuss and jumpy legs to work with. I find the mechanics refreshing. Easy to understand, but difficult to master. You need the right timing and also the right strategy. It's not a button masher. You have to think.

It's got a great set of mechanics that combine for some really fun game play. The platforming has just the right amount of difficulty. It's a challenge, but is also doable with being tedious and frustrating. If you like platforming and being able to use a blunderbuss as both locomotion and simultaneously redirect enemy projectiles back at them, then this is the game for you!
