Fellow fans of this game. Go get the GOG version, it actually works. This version is laggy af and doesn't have modern screen resolutions. The GOG version however does. I am an old fan of this game, so I would want it to work properly. Unless this gets updated over here. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥' busted.

A classic game and a game from my childhood. Fondly remember it and I still think it's worth playing now. The story will literally give you a mindf**k. That being said this is an old game. And it's a console port no less. Some things I found acceptable as a kid are no longer valid today. Such as the odd aiming system and the 4:3 aspect ratio. Unfortunately the aiming system is a gameplay feature rooted from the …

"The guy who doesn't believe in psychic powers gets the psychic powers: The Game." You can go full stealth if you want to, but you don't have to. Very good. Very Interesting. Like it a lot. UPDATE: Finished the game. One of the best experiences. Free Radical used to be soo good.

IT'S BACK!! Get this precious gem of a game. Great gameplay, engaging storyline if you like sci-fi spy thrillers and for once a good plot involving time-travel!

The combination of a well-crafted story, clever puzzles, combat (similar to Psi-Ops) with psychic powers outweighs deficient AI and dated graphics. Back on Steam after 10 years! A must-have. I know the game was re-released without modifications, but THQ specified "Stay tuned" so I hope at some point the game will be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My review is less on the technical issues and more on the control scheme. It's one hundred percent the console ports aiming system and it just does not work on mouse and keyboard. You will constantly fight with your camera and your aiming reticle to look where you want it to look, it's absolutely useless. That said, if you do wish to brave the storm, you will need a mod or two. Specifically a resolution mod as this game doesn't support modern monitors. As for me, much as I love Second Sight,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am both appalled and upset that none of my favourite video game video essayists on the video watch website have produced a video game video essay about the video game Second Sight. What a rad game. someone do the work for me.
positive · AI labelView post →Second Sight is a true classic that continues to be enjoyable to play today. This game delves deep into the realm of psychic abilities, making it a unique and groundbreaking gaming experience during the early 2000s. I still proudly possess the physical copy of Second Sight, tucked away safely in my desk drawer, serving as a cherished memento of the countless hours of fun it provided, happy to owe the game in my steam collection. The game works on steam decks too:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a great game back in the day, with a great story and game play despite some clunky controls. But time has not been kind to this game. In short do not buy in its currents state, if there an official or unofficial fix at some point then maybe but right now its a sloppy port that's barely playable. Common issues include -issues with frame rate people are commonly getting 5 fps -resolution has to be modified through a config file in the install folder -No native wide screen -crashes and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I looked up Second Sight today because I realised I wasn't actually sure what type of game it was despite it being added to my list. And I'm sort of mad that the cover did nothing to sell me on it all these years, because this looks rad as hell. And it's by the Timesplitters folk too? Yes please.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please please please optimize this for the deck and PC. I loved this game growing up and it introduced me into darker gaming where you could complete it multiple ways. I would love to share this with my kids.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lazy cash grab of a port. This is literally a straight port, meaning THQ Nordic haven't updated a single thing. The game runs at sub 30 fps, and the only way to get widescreen is to edit a config file. I also could not for the life of me get my controller to work, so I have to assume there is no controller support.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was glad this game got re-released on Steam, but it doesn't mean it should have been released in such a bad state. At bare minimum it should have achievements and trading cards. Other much more important thing is that It's really bad port. Game has huge FPS drop with awful frametimes and only temporary fix was to restart computer, at which happens randomly. Screen resolution was stretched so you need to rely on mods, for such basic feature.. I was constantly fighting camera since it has…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the laziest ports I've ever experience. There are other ways to play this game if you're feeling nostalgic. Don't subject yourself to this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Underrated gem of a game. Going in blind was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had with a game. I'm happy to see it back on Steam so that more people can enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like most free radical games released at the time, I love this game to death, played the hell out of it on Playstation 2 back in the day. Do not take this review as a thumbs down for the game itself. However, this PC port is just unplayable, which is a shame because I'd like this game to be better preserved and was happy when it came back to steam. No out of the box support for widescreen resolutions (I hear the GOG version fixes this, but I can't confirm it myself and I'm not going to buy it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not the greatest port but the game itself is pretty good. Now, PLEASE, bring the Timesplitters trilogy to PC with full mouse and keyboard support
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I sadly cannot give a positive review for this game. I have been asking for this game to come to Steam so that I could enjoy it once again, but it ran so badly that I had to ask for a refund. The screen stuttered and made it almost impossible to play. I can deal with the limited choice of screen resolution, the dated graphics, and the lack of controller support, but I can't play a game that just flashes all the time on the screen. And I can play just about anything on my computer, so there's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game thats here IS at the moment VERY VERY BAD, feels like THQ re-released it without careing if it would be playable or not btw its not, 16 FPS on a GTX1080TI, if they ever fix it ill beat it again and give it an actual review
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love how they didn't even bother to remove the Codemasters intro. While I appreciate that THQ Nordic, after all these years, finally switched the storefront from 0 to 1, this port is still preeeetty bad
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved this game back in the day. Was really looking forward to playing it again. But without controller support this game is horrible. Its sad to leave a negative on this game but the mouse/keyboard set up is garbage. DO NOT PURCHASE UNIT THEY ADD CONTROLLER SUPPORT.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a better experience via GameCube emulation.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Twenty one year old game that still runs flawlessly. Many triple A game companies need to learn something from this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to play this game when I was a kid, its amazing! Great story and mechanics!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Random Game of the Day Day 504 - Second Sight A third person shooter that looks pretty generic at first, but once you get telekinetic abilities the fun never stops! Sometimes I get this and Geist mixed up cause they have a similar look and feel gameplay wise Anyone played this game?
positive · AI labelView post →This is a game that I used to play all the time when I was younger. The premise of a guy with telekinetic powers appealed to me, and for its time, the graphics were incredible ( and back then, Steam wasn't really a thing. We used to download our games through a service called GameTap) NOW?? It hasn't aged all too well. Compared to today's standards, the graphics appear primitive and a little janky. The story and overall mechanics hold up good though. When I saw that it was on Steam. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is amazing. The port is amazingly bad. - Camera jitters constantly (minor, but annoying) - No proper controller support (again, minor, but rebinding controls to controller still show keyboard prompts) - The more noise is happening, the worse the audio sounds (bumping into objects makes all sound awful until you stop - No effort made to modernize whatsoever (mostly referencing resolution support, while you can edit the files, it can create graphical anomalies and for me didn't work at…

positive · AI labelView post →#DendensGamingDen. No. 182. Second Sight (Gamecube, 2004) Personal status: Ranked at 144 in Top 400. An intriguing thriller narrative by the makers of Timesplitters with psychic powers and a mandatory early 2000s physics system to mess around with? How could I not buy this? (1/11)
positive · AI labelView post →All 18 mins of my playtime are sitting at Main Screen unable to click anything :/ Game was gold when I was a kid. Hope they make it playable again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awful port, camera is bobbling like crazy (you can't fix that no matter what it makes me nauseous), mouse is just emulating gamepad (you can't fix that), there are no official gamepad support, performance is wonky it makes my entire pc to slow down even while writing. Widescreen is not there you need to download external fix. Can't skip videos, options and saves are resetting itself, first 2 missions are nothing but dreadful and extremely boring tutorial levels that i have to do again because…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ah my head it hurts
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Second Sight, hands down, is one of my favourite games of all time. Despite its age and wonky mechanics, I've loved this game for its story and mechanics. Playing through the story, discovering new abilities and learning more about yourself or.. what happened. And the final reveal makes the implications of said powers such an interesting topic to think about. It left me bewildered the first time I did. I love this game and the story with it's sad and intense music.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Originally played on the PS2 back in the day. Playing it again on PC and reliving the nostalgia, it did not disappoint! 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Day 29 of posting every GameCube game in my collection 🏙️ Second Sight 💀 If Timesplitters was a supernatural cover shooter, it would be this. The geniuses at Free Radical reinventing a genre once again! 🎮 Codemasters (2005) 💲10-20 USD ⭐ 7/10
positive · AI labelView post →So glad this gem is back on Steam Free Radical was the goats
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought that with the re-release they would make the game more compatable with modern systems, but I doubt they lifted a finger at all. Despite low resolution the performance is odd. Some levels run rather smoothly, but other levels run as badly as only about 20 FPS. The game itself is very strange. Tons of unusual mechanics and while controls aren't terrible they aren't anywhere near as smooth as I'd want them to be. Most of the gameplay is awkward, but fascinating. Game often requires me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an absolute golden title. I would pay loads for a remastered edition. That being said, even now in 2022, the story and visuals certainly stand up to time. 11/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Mid 00’s definitely had it’s phases, and one of them being the criminally underrated and significantly underutilized “Psychic Power’s” Action game of the likes of Geist, Psi-Op’s and of course Second Sight! Unfortunately for 13 year old me who picked up this game 16 years prior, it was a stealth-action game, something I absolutely sucked at! Suffice to say, I never finished it, so considering Second Sight got a surprise re-release on Steam in early April this year I took it upon myself to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have very fond memories of playing this game on the Xbox back when it first came out. I ended up finding the original disc among some other classics the other day and was surprised when I tried throwing it into my old 360 and the game wouldn't start because it wasn't supported! I couldn't stop thinking about playing the game once more and was extremely pleased to see it was actually supported on Steam! (I remember checking a few years ago & it was nowhere to be found.) I've played through the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →State of Play! - Wolverine = fun - Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy introduced me to Cold, I loved this game when I was young, this got the biggest reaction from me (now if we could just get it's cousin Second Sight) - Ignition was fun, played the demo for the original, can't wait for new Stuntman!

neutral · AI labelView post →Random game of the day 🎮 Second Sight, 2004. PS2. A game that seems to have been somewhat forgotten in the public eye, but one I'll never forget due to its uniqueness when released. Throwing around people never gets old. Timeless visuals too. #RGGRandomGame
positive · AI labelView post →Great Game, Frustrating Port Second Sight was one of my favorite games from the PlayStation 2 era in the mid-2000's. It combines stealth, guns, and psi powers for a unique gameplay experience. In the game you play as Dr. John Vattic as you embark on a mission with the WinterICE team. Because this is a console port, the controls do not translate well to keyboard and mouse, especially the gun aiming, which uses auto lock on instead of allowing free aiming. Also the Steam version does not allow…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Near twenty years old this game... and dose it show? Really? I mean, maybe just a little- but I loved this game as a kid. Maybe even more now. It was the golden age of gaming back then. Graphics maybe rough by today's standards- but just look at what they accomplished! With what they had back then! What passion and heart when into this game. Such charter and depth to its environments. And the cartoon-y character models aged like a fine wine too. :') Pure quality over quantity. 10/10. It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls are trash and a controller won't work. Camera just downright refuses to work nicely with mouse and keyboard. Don't waste your money, use a PS2 emulator.
