What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 202 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (5,992 of 6,467 positive).
Players love the chaotic physics and fluid movement, especially in local multiplayer. [1][2][3] Many find the game difficult to learn but rewarding once mastered. [4][5][6] Some reviewers note that online multiplayer suffers from lag and input delay. [7][8][9]

I've been playing this since it was only multiplayer through steam remote play, and I do think that the mechanics at the core of the game are really great. BUT. The multiplayer is practically unplayable due to outrageous input delay. I could make a sandwich in the time it takes to walk about 3 steps in someone else's server. Please, for the love of god, fix it, because I do love this game, and want to play it with …

Genuienly love this game. Singleplayer is fun, couch multiplayer is legendary (on xbox, this review is on PC too). i'd rather SpiderHeck over stickfight any day, but this wasn't always the case (it has gotten so much better from when i first got this game). This game USED to have the worst lag I had ever experieced, but it's playable now to the point i forgot how bad the lag was. I see a lot of negative reviews on …

Spider heck is like learning to walk for the first time as a baby fawn. Trust the force, aranakin. I never expected the best lightsaber duel game on steam to be disguised as an eight legged escapade. Playing this with a room full of friends gets everyone hyped and cheering. Spider heck is a spider heck yes.

For some games, the trailer can be misleading. It's a supercut of the coolest parts of a forty hour campaign, it might spoil a lot of surprises, and it might misrepresent gameplay. SpiderHeck is not one of those games. It's blitz-fast, instinctively understandable and blindingly chaotic. A lot of the time, I can't remember what happened twenty seconds ago, but I do remember that it was hilarious. I don't recall it …

One of the best local Vs multiplayers I've played recently. Feels insanely fluid and satisfying. Very reminiscent of towerfall ascension. 10000% recommend

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The most amazing game ever. The physics feels so tight, and the swords and guns feel excellent to handle. We need more DLC. This game is severely underrated.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 tuff game but i purchased it for my friend he was super ungratful.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually didn't care for this game much when playing online with randoms. It only really shone for me when playing wave survival with my niece. It has become a lot more fun in that format and I very much enjoy playing together. The physics leads to some chaotic events and the perks as you go really change things up. She usually focuses on grabbing the swords so I ended up using the guns and it was a good partnership I enjoyed. Definitely was a lot of fun.

neutral · AI labelView post →I love fun little multiplayer games you can install in two minutes and play with your kids with zero stress. Today's game was SpiderHeck, after we watched Deadpool. Sundays rule.
positive · AI labelView post →I used to play this wayyy back when it was on Xbox game pass, totally forgot abt it until I saw it in my Xbox play history. bought it for my PC to see if it was as perfect as I remember. (spoiler alert... IT IS) still my 11/10 goat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Playing with my kids on local multiplayer has been great value - we've come back to this game many times, it's worth the spend, especially if you pick it up on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though the game is abandoned, it was still very very good and had such smooth gameplay! R.I.P spiderheck. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every single time my partner and I have friends over to play video games we find ourselves saying "wait, have you played SpiderHeck?" and every single person we show loves it! Personally I think the PvE is where this game shines. I find the parkour too challenging to get past later levels and PvP is cool but I think the controls (which are a little complex) tend to result in the same person winning a lot if you're not playing with experienced gamers
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super underrated game. Such a shame that this game got overshadowed by rounds and other games like that. I've spent probably 15 hrs in the pve mode alone.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is the best pvp/pvm/parkour game ever created. Its very hard because the maneuvering system requires precise timing and it makes the game so much better than it already is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the learning curve is definitely there, but not nearly as steep as some other reviews make it out to be if you're moderately experienced with games that require some level of coordination. i suspect those reviews were just from people who don't play games quite as much, but i and the friends i introduced this game to picked it up and were battling competently pretty quickly. it's very fun, and the settings in the custom game mode menu for versus battles allow you to put in pretty much anywhere…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →VERY difficult game, hard to master, but worth the hours. fun after a while, rage game, amazing gameplay and platforming.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best game Players are sparse, but they exist every now and then.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are a lot of good ones listed already, but our family loves playing Drink More Glurp. It's a pass and play game so many people can take turns playing. More action oriented Duck Game has been a main stay with our family for years, but more recently have been playing modded Rounds (the game Rounds) to have 4 player and Spiderheck is also good.
neutral · AI labelView post →This game is so PEAK! It is under rated and not as popular as it should be. The game is perfect as is.

neutral · AI labelView post →Genuinely, one of my favorite games of all time. I bought on play station (a lot more time on there) first, but it was such a good game, I had to get it on steam too. Fantastic game to play with friends. incredibly fun, especially when you start to get the hang of the movement a bit. I didn't think it was too difficult to learn the movement, but it is kind of unique to this game, so it could take several games before you really start to grasp it. If you're still struggling, I would recommend…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I originally bought this game to play multiplayer with others, but I never had anyone to play it with. I ended up actually really enjoying the singleplayer wave survival.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gonna be honest, this game is pretty tough and hard to get adjusted to. Though, once you get a hang of the controls and practice, the game becomes really fun, especially with friends. This game also just has a lot of things to do, so you really don't get bored as often as other games. The only thing I have against it is the fact that sometimes the web controls are very buggy. Besides that, it's a really good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be an amazing game if it would be able to run properly. There are a lot of bugs when it comes to multiplayer and lag in dedicated servers. Even in solo, my friends and I notice often that when we go left it goes right or when we jump it just didn't jump and so on. The input somehow gets jumbled. There are challenges (that unlock skins) which are made ridiculously difficult and if the enemies do not get me, it's because my character didn't web and fell down. I love this game but it's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely love this game. My wife and I started playing it together a while back on Game Pass and they ended up removing it. Then we took matters into our own hands and bought it on steam. No regrets. Solid 10/10 for Co-Op shenanigans. Edit: The devs should come back to the game to be honest. There is so much untapped potential. For instance; expanding the lobby by a huge margin, allowing waves to be edited with handful of perks before starting, laser nun chucks 0.o, massive PVP or PVE…

neutral · AI labelView post →letting go of the laser is a death sentence, and letting your enemy see that is probably worse then a walk of shame.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a Great Game, although I may not be playing in Multiplayer PvP, I find the PvE Wave Survival quite fun. I would leave this as a between review if I could, I like the game, but because the Developer's have dropped the game and it hasn't been updated in Two Years it's been left as is. which is sad for a Game I liked such as this. it still works well on my PC, but I wouldn't recommend trying Dedicated Server's if near half-second input delay is a problem for you, I've grown to adjust to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Entirely forgotten
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the physics are pretty fun to screw around with, very easy game to learn but hard to master, ive played for eleven hours with my cousin and brother yet i still occasionally web-swing into a stray particle blade in wave survival (stop pointing them at me guys) the weapon variety is nice too, lots of fun to toy with the title/home screen being an open play area is a good choice too, it makes even hanging out while we decide what gamemode to play fun and interesting overall would recommend,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically Star Wars lightsaber/gun fights with Spider-man style web swinging and James Bay explosions. What's not to love?!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SpiderHeck is a very fun party game with plenty of different ways to kill your friends. Fun, fast paced combat that is just as likely to get you kill as you kill your opponent. NOTE : This game is not for the easily rage baited. It's just not.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like it a lot and it is a fun game with an interesting movement system. P.S. i typed this without looking at the keyboard for the first time:)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its really fun but genuinely unplayable in multiplayer cause of lag
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There exists almost no game that feels as good to play as Spiderheck. By its nature, Spiderheck is a very difficult game at first, with what you'll probably feel are tough but fun controls. However, as the hours go by, the tightness and responsiveness of the controls really stick out, and you may even find you've begun to embody the spider. "It's perfect," my friend and I utter each week during our hang-outs, because it somehow is. The game offers plenty of opportunity for you to get really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why aren't more people playing this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game. Like it's very cool and addictive and a BLAST to play with friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Forget about boring evenings — a really cool game awaits you! It's designed to have fun: you can have real competitions with your friends, or you can just indulge and have a good laugh. The game is full of secret Easter eggs: look for hidden messages, references to cult films and funny surprises — everyone will find something of their own. You can play anywhere, anytime: on Xbox, computer and other platforms. Launch and start the adventure right now!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looks good, sounds good, plays good. Them spiders really do be skedoodlin' all over the place.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing physics and graphics, and extravigant gameplay loop
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I primarily play this on my steam deck on my alt account with friends and we had a pretty good time with it. Honestly this kinda just feels like a Stick Fight style game but more complex, and that's not necessarily a bad thing but I can say I prefer Stick Fight to this one. This game isn't bad by any means though, it can just be a bit difficult to control at times or to do exactly what you want with your spider. This is a highly chaotic game,. and while skill does play a factor a factor,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game would make sooooo much money if there was no lag during multiplayer. This would be the next rocket league. Also, I was thinking a campaign mode like Metroid but with these mechanics instead would be so fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun, upbeat, energetic. When your sabers hit its a very satisfying feeling.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a very cool game to play with friends, however i recommend playing split screen since online servers are generally empty
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a really fun game to play whether single player on wave survival, tiers of heck, or parkour, or even to play on multiplayer online or local!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game rocks! very fun, especially for local multiplayer. Need more game modes though.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best games to play with friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of my favourite games! An insanely addictive combination of swinging movement mechanics and a lot of depth to most weapons brings for the insanely high skill ceiling. Initially it is quite hard to grasp all of that, but that's okay. With gradual progression through the "Tiers of Heck" you learn how to handle the weapons and all the "Parkour" levels help you improve on your movement tech. For speedrunning both TOH and Parkour levels have a built-in timer. Wave Survival, a mode in…
