Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 164 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (4,456 of 4,591 positive).
Many wish for multiplayer and VR support to enhance the experience. [1][2][3] Some reviewers report issues like motion sickness, lack of undo, and inactive development. [4][5][6]

I wanted to like it but the game links camera to the cursor even while painting so it gave me severe motion sickness after 20 mins. I'm requesting a refund and would only consider buying it if there was an option to toggle the ability to freeze camera view with the canvas and object fitting nicely on screen, and only move the brush. Also, if the brush tool is selected, let us use the brush with left-click. Why is …

I am bad at drawing. I suck at art. No one would consider anything I did to be art.................but this game makes me feel like none of that matters. I can express myself how I like, and the way the brushes, pallets, paints, and tools work is amazing. This should be a 10/10 --- but I'm giving it an 11/10 because of luminescent paint. I don't know who thought of it. I don't know who came up with it. I don't know …

Hands down the most fun art game out there. I found it as relaxing as powerwash simulator. You basically get painting comissions from clients. There's a sense of progress. You expand and hang your paintings in virtual galleries , you get money/rewards from your clients. You use money to buy decorations and more tools to expand on your drawings. You start out painting with brushes, then u get blenders, markers, …

This sandbox ArtPG gave me the supportive and nurturing environment my inner artist never had growing up (nor deserved). The feeling of 'you can do no wrong' was so alien to me that it somehow overrides my imposter syndrome, makes it feel absurd. Why would this game include an undo function? There are no mistakes here. Throw a board on the floor and hit it with a blowtorch and a glitter cannon. The world applauds. …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a disabled artist, this game has honestly been a godsend. There are days I can't sit up to work on my irl projects but my brain desperately needs to create. My laptop can't handle most digital art programs and a lot of art games are pretty limiting and don't quite scratch the same itch, but this one does! The color and tool selection is great, the tools react as you'd expect, and you have complete freedom in what to make while still getting prompts should you want them. It isn't the same as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun but needs CTRL + Z and like "paper mode" where the perspective is locked to the canvas imo. love it tho.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is the closest im ever going to get to being a real artist. just drawing horses for people. i hate my life so much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game and painting feels great and very satisfying! Only problem with this game is that devs are not active anymore :( So sad to see this game slowly wilt for no reason :(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun creative times with all the tools available to funk around with. The email requests are funny and the robot is awesome. The gallery showcase with the random comments is great too. Would love VR support for this though!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game I just wish there was some more things added, such as some kind of lasso/ copy and paste tool for drawing eyes easier. and i love painting the hidden post it notes and using them as wall leds and I REALLY want buy able blank post it notes that you can write on or paint yourself it would be awesome to add that so if a dev is reading this, HI SuchArt dev I like your game a lot i just feel some more stuff could be added, other that that it's a super chill and fun game. and I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love SuchArt. Its an amazing game for computer... but what if... it works with VR...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I drew a little guy today (in the game "SuchArt! Genius Artist Simulator", based on: "an object that looks like it's alive")
neutral · AI labelView post →In the end, there's really no incentive to make good art, other than your own satisfaction. Not for me,
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game for self expression. You get commissions aka art prompts, and then you make art. You can exhibit anything you want e.g. throw a bucket of paint on the canvas all the way to using a drawing pad and using the art prompts to create something spectacular. Has really helped me experiment with digital art (compared to my usual pencil and paper) The main story line takes 2nd place to the main point of "just make art"

negative · AI labelView post →An artist dream. To be given a studio and a steady stream of commisions where no mater what you do the customer is going to be happy. SuchArt! is mostly a drawing/paint program wrapped up in a game environment with a dash finacial life sim throwing in. You do not need a drawing tablet to play this drawing game (there is options for it if you want) a mouse and a little bit of expermenting will do (happy little paint spills) You do not need to be good at art, you can be but it won't really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun and silly but honestly every single time i've played this i've streamed it to my friends. really wish it had multiplayer honestly :( would have been neat to work in a little artist community
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Welcome to SuchArt, a bloody, gory... oh wrong game. SuchArt is a peaceful, cutesy painting game where you can use unconventional tools like spoons and mops or alien teeth and blob pieces to paint masterpieces where the world is your canvas... or at least, your studio is. We don't pay you to paint your walls though, you need to actually paint pictures. From your loving sister Kyndle, to a crab alien named Koki Koki, your clients are guaranteed to be weird, wacky, and fun. The non-random clients…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it would be nice to see more vehicles in the game and possibly some lag reduce bc my game has been lagging none stop since i got the weird glitchy ball from the crab
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i never liked painting, i always sucked at drawing. This is the best game ever. You get so much creative freedom and fun tools for such a good price. It would cost TENS OF THOUSANDS to have even a fraction of the creative freedom this game gives you IRL.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is art and you going through a story, that you can only tell yourself! Nobody tells you to do anything in the game. You do you. the game is like a solid 9/10!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →P. S. If you have difficulties in the walktrough, this guide will be very useful: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3561496240 SUCH SUX SuchArt: Genius Artist Simulator’s 97% rating feels totally inflated because there’s none of the promised realism. Yeah, you can wave brushes, spray cans, or chisels around in your space station room, but it gets boring real fast due to the lack of proper rules. The game doesn’t care if you draw total nonsense or ignore the order’s…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can go from 💩 to ✨ in this game Honestly i have been playing this game since. I love how it simulates traditional art. #SuchArt
positive · AI labelView post →Incredibly inspiring game. I wish the achievements worked better but otherwise this was excellent! I hope VR and Multiplayer are added eventually
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been playing this game for years, it's just the best! A little laggy here and there but nothing serious, and there's many optimization options. The fact that you can splash anything on the canvas with all the crazy tools, and people will lap it up, honestly it's so freeing and helps me experiment with my art in new ways. I've made several pieces I'm legitimately proud of, and lots of others that maybe don't look as nice but were fun to make!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I play exclusively on creative mode and it's very nice. Very satisfying. Very calm. Very fun when you wanna play a random game while listening to commentary videos.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, even if you have no talent they will still act like your work is the best thing ever. I enjoyed this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, but even though it is steamdeck verified, it is so hard to control. The cursor is so slow for some reason, and L2 and R2 control both scrolling texts and the brush sensitivity, and I always accidentally have it be too sensitive after reading something, ruining a masterpiece. Also, touchscreen controls do not work in this game for some reason, which is a bit sad. It is playable, but a bit annoying. I am sure the game is easier to control on PC. All of these aside, the game is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SuchArt Genius Artist Simulator is a refreshingly open and immersive creative suite that gives you a high tech studio in space and tells you to simply go wild. While many simulators focus on rigid objectives or management this title is a pure digital canvas that celebrates the messy and unpredictable process of making art. You play as a rising talent in the year 2130 balancing commissions for quirky clients with your own personal desire to cover every inch of your walls in paint. The physics…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm still figuring out some controls, but this game has already helped greatly with my artblock. Its a fun setting where I feel like i can just make whatever with prompts to give me some structure

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game was good, but the devs abandonned it. go buy smth else instead of wasting money for a game that will never get updated. its also full of bugs

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game! Im a digital artist but this game gives a whole new meaning to that. I really like that there's no real grading system so its up to the player to hold themselves to a standard to play the game in good faith rather than a computer telling you if its good enough. I like the Do Not Disturb / Looking For Commissions options as it can get really crowded but the game doesn't delete completed commissions or unanswered ones which is great if you wanna look back or feel like you have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a masterpiece to create masterpieces.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not a very creative person but I've quite enjoyed the mechanics of painting in this game and that I can express myself with crappy art and it's not detrimental to the game itself :p It's been a lot of fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best art game i have EVER played. Very fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like drawing like me, this is a game worth recommending. If you are worried that the game is not fun, you can try their trial version first. The graphics are fantastic, there are a lot of drawing tools, the game environments are really high-tech, and the apartments are amazing. In addition, there are a variety of funny and interesting tasks or commissions for you to complete! Once again, worth recommending!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a while, I forgot that I was playing a game and just focused on making things. Very zen.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SuchArt! VOD will be unlisted for a little while, turns out the in game music is not copyright free and I need to remove about 20 songs from it
