What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 43 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mostly Positive (73 of 95 positive).
Players describe it as a cozy, short packing puzzle game similar to A Little to the Left. [1][2][3] Many note the game is very short, taking about an hour to complete. [4][5][6] Some reviewers criticize it as too derivative of A Little to the Left. [7][8][9]

This game takes too much inspiration from A Little to the Left. It's the Temu version of it, down to the solutions, animations, UI. Because of that, it doesn't feel like its own thing. If you already played A Little to the Left, there is nothing new here, it's just an uglier game with worse versions of same puzzles. If you haven't played A Little to the Left - also don't buy this, just get A Little to the Left …

I have extensively played organization and cleaning games, and am the intended audience for this game. One of the things all those hours playing has given me is a very intimate knowledge of the UI of many of these games. A Little to the Left is one of those games. I have nearly 40 hours in it, and can safely and confidently say that this game is a rip of ALttL, with different puzzle content. The menus, the falling …

Suitcase Stories is a simple puzzle game with cozy graphics. The game is short, playable in one evening, but it is also very enjoyable and satisfying. I wish it had more levels, but sometimes it's better to tell a short story than to force it to last longer.

The game is a great simple puzzle game with a sweet story. Very cozy and great to play while watching tv or talking with others. The only thing I've noticed is that there are a few glitches here and there that are being ironed out still but it didnt impede my gameplay. There's a hint system built in with pictures if you get lost as well. I have only 3 achievements I still need despite having all my stars for all the …

neutral · AI labelView post →Maybe on a major discount but its a but too much like ''A little to the left'' but then missing some of the extra polish that made that game a lot more enjoyable. Its puzzle variety just quickly becomes stale, its so easy its laughable. This game feels like students getting assigned to make a copy or something similar to a game they like, rather than its own thing Its not bad, I would give it a mixed rating maybe. (another huge bother is the games title nonstop in the background, its so…

neutral · AI labelView post →Extremely short game, most likely not worth the price. However I won't refund it out of respect for the developers. Everyone's already talked about the problem with it trying to be ALTTL, but I want to touch on why it fails to be so. (And by that I don't mean trying to identically replicate the game, but the essence of it.) With organisation games, or any puzzle games in general, such as ALTTL, a huge component of player enjoyability, is intuitive level design. What games such as ALTTL do is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like many others, I often look for other cozy games like A Little to the Left to satisfy my organization urges. I purchased Suitcase Stories on sale and 100%'d in approximately an hour, and here are what I most and least enjoyed about it: Pros: Scratches the itch of wanting to play more games like A Little to the Left Cute art style Smooth pause screen animation Cons: Too heavily inspired by A Little to the Left Clunky snapping mechanics Some of the alternate solutions were too vague or…

neutral · AI labelView post →This was a short-ish game, which took me 1hr to complete, while really taking my time. The issues I had, are the following: ~ Hints reveal a screenshot of the complete solution, so if you really just want a small nudge, you just spoiled yourself ~ If you want to focus on just organizing and putting things away in a way that fits, you often can't because the levels have specific solutions, and if you don't do it exactly as intended, it won't count as "done" because it's not "correct" I do…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before playing Suitcase Stories, it is important to understand what kind of experience Creative Hand intended to create. Developed and published by Creative Hand, this indie title is not designed around competition, lengthy progression systems, or demanding puzzle mechanics. Instead, it embraces a quieter approach, asking players to explore a person's life through the belongings they choose to carry with them. From childhood to adulthood, every packed suitcase becomes a snapshot of a particular…

neutral · AI labelView post →First of all: Yes. This is a lot like a little to the left. Like a lot lot. It takes around an hour to complete the Game with all Achivements. The put down of Items is sometimes a little buggy and I had a few laggs upon first startup. If you dont like it its still refundable with less than two hours of playtime if you really hate it that much (talking about some negative Reviews here) But: I still liked it. Its cute and short and for the 3 Euro Sale a cute little pick me up. I like to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a nice cozy game. I enjoy the graphics and the self pacing of the game. I would like it if the hint was available on the same page as the container I am filling, but it is not a big issue. Thank you very much for a very nice game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't like the game, it turned stupid by the end.... a pity...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice and short game, with neat-looking, varied levels, cute art and audio cues on correct placement if there is a fixed solution. Start sorting, youngsters!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →💼Suitcase Stories 💼 Despite the game only releasing YESTERDAY I have already achieved 100%! ⭐️ Perfect for fans of Spring Tales and A little to the Left, a cosy game all about packing items into a bag throughout different life stages. @creativehand.bsky.social

neutral · AI labelView post →Very similar to A Little To The Left, but worse. Some levels were fine, even ejoyable, I liked the ones where you place things into drawers. However I didn't like the levels where there wasn't clear exactly where stuff supposed to go. A lot of times perspective looked off, it was weird looking to me, making objects look like they would not fit, items sticking out from suitcase. The biggest downside is the price compared to the content as game is short. On bigger discount (+50%) might be worth…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but sweet and a lot like a little to the left. Great game on sale and I hope there's more levels or dlc levels in the future
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely short game, most likely not worth the price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game tries so hard to be "a little bit to the left" but it doesnt good enotgh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not good. It literally is just A Little to the Left, but worse. Clunkier, less immediately readable, strangely choppy on my laptop where ALttL was smooth. A knockoff looking to milk the hype, with worse quality than many free games out there. Don't give it your time or your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While not as good as other games of this type and a bit too short, its quite fun and worth picking up on a discount!

neutral · AI labelView post →Lovely chill game, levels are beautifully crafted, the art is quite cozy as well as the music. The menu transition with the zipper is very original. It's short, cozy and lovely, a nice relaxing experience to decompress after a stressfull day.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked the game personally. Its cute, short, and tells a little life story, which is nice. My ONLY gripe is that i wish i could rotate the items but everything fits where its supposed to, I just want to put the items places they aren't meant to be lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-- Gameplay Suitcase Stories is a calm and relaxing game where the main objective is to organize and pack items into different spaces. Most of these spaces are suitcases, but each one features unique designs, preventing the experience from feeling repetitive. For example, a suitcase meant for storage devices feels different from a work suitcase or a drawer used for makeup. This variety keeps each level fresh and engaging. The game strikes a good balance between freedom and structure. Some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a neat, simple little puzzle game. It's simultaneously similar to and the reverse of Unpacking! XD You put together a story as you go through each level and chapter, just instead of unpacking boxes with each move, you pack up pieces of the protags new life chapter. Puzzles aren't too difficult and are satisfying to put together. I enjoyed it and definitely recommend it! That being said, I do have one critique that I feel could maybe be addressed if there were a potential future update;…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Suitcase Stories is a short and sweet organization game. I think the content is alright, though the controls can be a bit clunky at times. The achievements are easy, and the puzzles are fairly intuitive. With about an hour of gameplay time, I wish there were more, but I'm still satisfied with this game. I do think the price is a tad high overall, but if you enjoy games like A Little to the Left or Unpacked, it could certainly be worth it (especially on sale). It's cute and fun!
