A fantastic sequel. Honestly after the events of the first game, I didn't believe they could measure up to the first games standards. But my lord they did and them some. We continue the story with our underdog Clementine and let me tell you what a roller coaster of a ride. Can't praise this game enough on how good it is! If you never had the pleasure to play season one and two, BUY IT, DOWNLOAD IT AND PLAY IT NOW!

This game broke me. And I’m grateful for it. Season Two of The Walking Dead is darker, heavier, and far more painful than the first season. You don’t just watch Clementine grow up — you feel it. Every choice feels wrong in its own way, and the game constantly reminds you that there are no good answers in a broken world. I’ve played many story-driven games, but very few made me sit in silence after the credits …

Not on the level of the first seaon but doesnt necessairly means bad. It was really good. This one had constant drama more than zombie itself. felt like clem charater development was way to fast than i thought it would but considering the situation maybe people can change. i breeze through ep 1-4 but ep 5 hit me hard. That moment everything stop and i started to ponder. (if you have played you know the moment im …

Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season 2 is a strong continuation of Clementine’s emotional journey, pushing her into even tougher situations and forcing players to see the world through her eyes. The story remains gripping, with meaningful character moments and some heartbreaking twists. There are noticeably more QTEs and player choices this time around, adding tension and a stronger sense of agency. While not every …

A great continuation of Clementine's story that moves along at a faster pace and has more action than Season One. Don't worry it still has emotional scenes especially the ending which I didn't expect to hit me as hard as it did.

95% of the 190 Steam reviewers we collected recommend The Walking Dead: Season Two. The complaint that keeps coming up: weaker than the first season according to some. Deal-breaker or nitpick?
Critics, per Wikipedia

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I believe the first season was quite strong for its time, so surpassing it was an almost impossible task. This season is dramatically weaker, yet certain moments still manage to surprise with their content and in-game events. Back when it was released, it was truly shocking. It is an absolute must-play if you want to follow Clem's fate!

neutral · AI labelView post →The Walking Dead: Season Two successfully shifts the spotlight to Clementine, delivering a tense and emotionally gripping narrative. the game excels in its atmosphere and difficult moral choices. Just like most TV shows, the second installment of this emotional journey through the post-apocalypse can’t keep up with the terrific premiere. Much of the blame lies with the poor cast of uninteresting characters. Some logical errors in the last episode’s story don’t help either. Yet, with a…

neutral · AI labelView post →the best season in my opinion. Playing as Clem, I already felt like she was my daughter and had a hard time dealing with everything that was happening to her. I FELT SO SORRY FOR HER, BUT HER JOURNEY OF GROWING UP IS SO WELL REVEALED THROUGHOUT THE GAME. It's also worth noting that almost every character plays an important role in the plot, but it was so sad to see how most of them didn't survive. Kenny practically becomes a new parental figure for Clem, and that's finally starting to warm my…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You're conclusion isn't wrong but you're giving it credit for the wrong things. All of those elements were present in games that came long before, TLOU was just a lot more marketable. The story-first approach made you feel in control of a zombie movie during peak zombie mania. You just binged The Walking Dead, what if you could *play* an episode... In that sense, you're right that its success opened up a whole new market that we all benefit from. I knew so many people whose game libraries…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It doesn't beat Season 1, but it's still a good continuation of Clem's journey. It introduces a lot of complex and interesting characters, even when working in short increments. The later chapters are arguably a bit rocky (I presume due to major rewrites), but it still manages to land on its feet. The visuals are also a nice evolution to the first season's art style.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good sequel to the first season, but damn some of the ♥♥♥♥ that happens in this one really sucked because I liked so many of the characters and the game was just like; nah I don't care about your favourites.
