Tricky Towers
Developer WeirdBeard
Tricky Towers is a physics-based tower building game puzzle video game that uses a form of the block-stacking problem as the central game mechanic. It was released on digital distribution service Steam for Windows, OS X, and Linux, and for the PlayStation Plus service in August 2016, before being released on PlayStation 4 a month later. It was released on Xbox One on September 18, 2017, and on the Nintendo Switch on… From Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0)

Incredibly fun party game and it hurts not to recommend it, but it's full of bugs and not so full of players as a result of that. Although it's fun to play, it's hard to find other players online. When you find them, the games often present us with game crashing bugs. Sometimes, you get stuck on a glitched lobby, other times you get stuck on a black screen, other times you even get stuck after a round. All of these …

Play this game with friends who also love playing tetris! Tetris is a game that relies on physics, right? We already know that in tetris gravity is a tyraniccal Queen... But what about playing it on nature instead of in a big blank box? Feel the effect of the wind, leaves and even snow in you most beloved bricks. You"ll have tree game modalities: who builds the taller (and sufficient stable) tower of blocks first? …

Love it! Very fun, lighthearted and silly, one of my most favorite puzzle games Online is kind of dead now so don't expect random matchmaking to find people quick (there are still some playing though, just may take some time to find players), but it's still super fun to play with friends and solo in challenges

Tricky Towers is a really fun local multiplayer Tetris game with a physics twist. Highly recommended for families.

Worst game to ever exist PERIOD, nothing on the steam store is worse than this game. When you get fueled with animalistic rage after your tower falls like 9/11, there's nothing more exasperating than this feeling.(This game genuinely makes me so angry....AND if you don't have a 5090 your pc blows up in real life dealing aoe damage, so now your actual tower has been turned into an IED explosive sending shrapnel into …

I'm not very good at word games though, and they don't have very good spatial skills, so we frequently find ourselves mismatched. We have a switch and a single decent gaming pc, and a pretty old laptop. The biggest hit for us has been *Baba is You* because it is slow paced, and combines words and logic and spatial reasoning. Our…

Choosing to take a more Jenga approach over faithfully trying to replicate Tetris, we take a tour through all the game modes in this bracket. It’s gonna be a blasty blast. Way different than Mario Kart so it won't be a repetitive experience for them. This is the Steam-based couch coop that's lasted longest in my friends group. **Tricky Towers** Tetris game, but the catch is you build upwards to a finish line and physics play a role, so the tower can lean and collapse. **TowerFall Ascension** Competitive platformer…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely amazing except for one big problem in survival. It has way too much RNG to be consistently playable, and the snowman attack is just so unfun because it just involves no skill and its super buggy. I really wish the game developers removed the snowmen as you just get punished for no reason and there is barely any counter play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game to play with friends, it will never grow old.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It sucks that the developer gave up on the game since it's still a really fun time with a stranger that you will find at 2:56PM on a random cup match. Nonetheless, terrific game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Peak local multiplayer gameplay. Great times 🔥 I'm not sure why I can review this game as I don't own it on Steam but 🔥
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its great because you dont have to be good at tetris to beat your friends who are good at tetris
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →my life was better without this game in it. aside from the rng-fest achievements, nothing really bad to dislike. Those minions just rage-baited and got the better of me. I'm a better person irl I swear!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A strange, fun puzzle game that uses Tetris pieces and physics. Puzzles are good in singleplayer, but multiplayer is where it's at.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unplayable on linux (Fedora 43 KDE, all drivers installed). Game always opens on the leftmost screen (even if it's not the main one). Game doesn't recognize my pads both directly and via steam input (8bitdo ultimate C2 and Pro2). It wants me to use keyboard. It's the only title I have such issues with.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game makes me want to rip my own nuts off and commit the worst crimes known to man garbage dump trash garbage
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love Tetris you'll probably enjoy playing this, the twist of having physics mixed with Tetris blocks is a creative idea that was well established here, and with 3 game modes and not too short not too long 50 levels to beat it is pretty fun. And if you have friends you'll enjoy a lot playing against each other
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game can be fun at times, but the physics system is deeply flawed. The so‑called "logic" often makes no sense, and the physics feel more like a joke than a feature. There’s been no modernization or meaningful updates, and online play suffers from lag and random disconnects. If your controller dies and you reconnect, tough luck—you’re forced to leave and rejoin, which is incredibly frustrating. On top of that, the limited variety drags the experience down. With only three main game modes…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love these two games so much. Tricky Towers is super fun as a casually competitive game and INSIDE is just a banger in terms of atmosphere.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why is the current Honkai: Star Rail event a direct clone of Tricky Towers?! 😆 I suck at that game but spent loads of time playing it with my youngest sibling when they were small.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a nice game to play online and offline with bunch of friends. Doesn't need a really long time to complete each game which is good for limited time. We used to play this at work during lunch hour to ease up. This is also kids friendly, my niece and nephew like it so much.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have gotten way more time out of this game than I thought I would. The few hours of Steam time is only a part of the time spent on Playstation & at friends houses.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I CAN VOUCH TRICKY TOWERS IS A BRILLIANT MULTIPLAYER GAME ITS SO BS BUT SO GOOD
positive · AI labelView post →If you use different colored blocks and don't use the same well and don't refer to them by their letter names, they can't do anything about it. For instance, the game Tricky Towers can exist just fine, but the closer you get the more they will fight you.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Refunded within 2 hours, I can't play with my short keyboard, why put a game on steam where you can't change hotkeys for a hotkey exclusive gameplay. I'd have better luck re-installing ARC Raiders, and winning against AI robots then getting good keybinds for a steam game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game does everything right. Tetris will always be a classic, but you're getting so much more here. The different game modes all add interesting twists, and skill is rewarded but doesn't make games feel deterministic (sometimes the better Tetris player loses their tower anyway!) Lots of fun and no major complaints.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Also one of the new Star Rail 4.4 events is shockingly similar to the game Tricky Towers, which I last played eight years ago apparently. As a result I had a really great time with the event, because Tricky Towers is great too. If you like Tetris, you should play Tricky Towers
positive · AI labelView post →This game is a pretty fun and simple, the artstyle and music are nice and the gameplay of tetris but with gravity and physics is an interesting idea. While it does work well as a party game to play with friends my biggest complaint would be the rng element of some of the trials and achievements. It takes an absurd amount of retrying the same level over and over again just so the stars align so you can get a win and having to spend hours on a single stage because the entire challenge is based…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →★★★★★ Tricky Towers is a brilliant physics-based party game that transforms the classic block-stacking formula into a chaotic battle of skill, balance, and strategy. Instead of clearing lines, your goal is to build the tallest and most stable tower while using magical spells to help yourself or sabotage your opponents. The simple mechanics make it easy for anyone to play, but the unpredictable physics and competitive gameplay create hilarious and intense matches. Whether you're racing to the…
