I usually don't write reviews. But for this game I'll make an exception. The game reminds me of childhood where adventure lies just around the corner. You never know what will happen next but all of it is exciting an fun. It has great environmental storytelling with some darker themes, but it's not in your face so it does not take away from the cozyness. There are some beautiful and distinct regions and enemies …

Wow. This game feels like a painting that moves. The colors, the music, the way the Fox looks at you, its all so beautiful. I spent way too long just walking around because I didn’t want to rush it. Its emotional without being cheesy, and the collectibles actually matter. If you love games that make you feel something, play this. Seriously.

Initially, I wanted to give this game an 8+/10. The plot, cuteness, and mechanics are all really well thought out, and the puzzle design strikes a great balance between simplicity and satisfaction. However, the visual glitches and small bugs do start to pile up the further you progress, and they can begin to chip away at the immersion and flow of the world. As the game stands right now, I’m giving it a 7/10. But …

neutral · AI labelView post →This game really grew on me. I love that the storytelling is all in the visuals. This game was described to me as an emotional tale before playing, and I didn't believe it at first. But nearing the end, I really felt it hit home. It's a great game to sit down and relax with. Also like how wel it runs on Steam Deck. Cheers to the Devs for putting so much love into crafting this title.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a cute game about stripping the forest bare of any flowers, sucking the “nature juice” out of plants and animals alike, to power ancient arcane machines. It’s like running a tiny, eco‑friendly power plant where the turbines are made of moss and the fuel is pure cuteness. Where a butterfly flutters beside you like a living GPS, guiding you, the stone golem, through the verdant maze toward hidden wonders. Enter the fox: part sidekick, part mischievous mascot, which first needs relentless…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Of course I am biased, but I trully love what we have created with Unpetrified. It was not always like this, there were ups and downs in the development for things like game mechanics, story, and the emotional impact. The final product is a good mix of strong story moments, interesting puzzles, an adorable fox companion and of course a lovable main character :-)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perhaps I am biased, but I absolutely love this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute game where you solve puzzles and try to find all the different animals and plants and rebuild old stone structures. I'm enjoying it, it's relaxing and a good way to wind down.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of few games without guns and violence. The worlds are really beatiful and fun to explore. Game controls are easy to use even if I play only with keyboard and mouse.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You awaken as golem in an unknown world, which you'll need to explore to uncover your past. On this journey you'll meet new friends and grow with them. The general plot gets mirrored in the gameplay: The player is rewarded for exploration in this lush and beautiful world and gets rewarded the joy of exploring itself. As soon as the player leaves the tutorial section and the world starts to open up, the game lures you in with cleverly placed vistas and smart camerawork, which hint at future…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really cute game. Perfect for relaxing after a days of work. I think it's very cool how they manage to tell a story without using any dialogues or narration. I think the visuals look very nice as well, very cool atmospheric landscapes!

neutral · AI labelView post →Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature is a cozy puzzle-adventure game where you play as a stone golem traveling through a colorful world alongside a fox companion. Pros ✔️ Extremely relaxing to play - The whole game is built around reconnecting with nature and helping it flourish in a gentle, thoughtful way. ✔️ Small missions and puzzles keep things moving - There’s always something to do without it ever feeling overwhelming or difficult. ✔️ Consistently cute and charming - From the animals to the…

neutral · AI labelView post →TLDR: probably a pass, ui is obtuse for those who like to collect/complete games, puzzles are just okay with clunky feedback from your companion. Updated review: Playing this game can be frustrating, the character can get stuck in the environment while rolling. Can get softlocked while using environmental objects and achievements/100%ing seems completely unfun. Finding all animals in an area is obtuse with no meaningful ui to tell you how many are left. I think the butterfly compass is…

neutral · AI labelView post →Delightful game. Puzzle platformer with some whimsy. The issues I had were resolvable in all cases reloading from checkpoint. Longer than I expected it to be which was nice. As challenging as the puzzles got, they never got too big or too challenging. I do wish it was clearer you were triggering plot continuation inadvertently since I would have liked to complete more areas throughout the game, but I'd trigger continuation with no way to go back.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cute game that was somehow both exactly what I was expecting, and not at all what I was expecting. The game consists of two main play elements, one being exploration and the other being puzzle solving. In some cases both puzzle solving and exploration occur at the same time, and in other cases they are their own sections of game-play. For people who want some helpful gameplay tips check out the last paragraph of this review, the second-to-last paragraph is the review summary for the tldr…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8/10 Very cozy and beautiful game! You play as the Golem in a world with no humans, though there are signs of humanity. The natural world is vibrant and thriving! Something seems off though... Explore by solving puzzles, speculate about the lore via murals, roll around at high speeds to break stuff, and collect flowers that are displayed on the Golem's back. Not all the puzzles are obvious, so you'll need to bring your patience and your explorer's hat. Best played with a controller, in my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didnt expect this to be so fun. Its not loud or flashy, but the world is packed with little secrets. I found a rabbit sitting near the water and it made my day. The Fox is adorable and actually helpful, which is rare. Its the kind of game you play when you just want to chill and smile. Definitely a hidden gem.

neutral · AI labelView post →this looks like a cute little game, maybe even a child's game. It is not. While the graphics are charming, the puzzles are quite challenging. I am really enjoying this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a difficult start with this game as I got softlocked on multiple occasions, but the devs were very responsive and worked hard to get patches out. The difficulty at first is pretty much "walking simulator" but the puzzles do eventually get pretty complex and fun! For a game with very simple mechanics, it is surprisingly engaging. There is no dialogue in the game, but it still manages to tell a very emotional story. The animals in the game are adorable and I really enjoyed rescuing them…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →such a glorious game! so much more content than i would have ever thought, in a beautiful environment full of things to explore. 10/10 - large scale environmental puzzles, pretty visuals, the ability to roll around as a rock, and an adorable fox friend! would recommend. game gets better as you go, and so increases your inner peace

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unpetrified is a good relaxing game. I love the design and the style of it. the puzzle are simple and fun to do. The downsize of it are the bug with the controler. One time I had to quit and restart the game because one of the button (the one to put the golem in a ball, so that it can go faster) stopped working. Even then the commands are not really stable. Sadly I wont finish it because I got blocked in a place with no possibility of getting out of it and even with retarsting the game I…
