Beautifully illustrated and balanced game. Play alone or with friends, it's always a pleasure (sometimes you win completely unexpectedly in the final stages). Love the birds and paintings, the mechanics and cannot wait for the next DLC. Play 200+ hrs? No problem :) One side effect: every time I see a bird, I think about how many points it's worth, what food it needs, and what special effect it has.

A great way to learn the board game, which my wife ultimately refused to play, leaving me with a $10 port (yay!) of an $80 board game (boo). I especially appreciate how quickly a session lasts, once you get the hang of it it's a 20 minute run with no penalty for walking away, perfect for a father and husband and someone's employee and gamer.
