Gameplay and graphics are great. Feels like 2K25 but more nuanced, graphics are greatly improved. Additions to Universe Mode are Quality of life changes. The Ringside Pass system is really bad... Takes about 4 hours if you cheese it to earn RXP to unlock something as easy as legends. They really need to give people more RXP per match won and get rid of it next year.

It has been 5 Days. I have not yet touched universe mode, which is the whole reason why I bought this game. I have spent maybe 90%-95% of my game time in Character Customization, and it's already peak. I however will NOT be playing online at all. Thank you and good day. (Also, the fact there is a battle pass in a game like this that costs 70$ is actually insane. How much more money hungry could you be?)

The actual in-ring gameplay is a noticeable improvement over WWE 2K25. But almost everything surrounding that gameplay is a massive step backwards, starting with the absolute scam that is the new "Ringside Pass" and how 2K has completely abandoned the PC player base. Let's look at the Creation Suite. It is practically the exact same as last year. They added a new hair dye option and "boosted up layers" as a big new feature, but as of Patch 1.04, those extra layers aren't even working. Then…

Same game as last year and every other year. Except that now you can't even have the DLC that you paid for instantly. You have to either grind for multiple hours just to "unlock" what you paid for. Or if you don't want to grind for your DLC you can pay them AGAIN the price of the base game to get that ringpass to level max. The game is full of glitches like always, random crashes, bad optimization. Oh and let's not forget the MyFaction mode where the AI straight up cheat against you. 2K…

I'm giving this a "not recommended" but let me be clear, it has NOTHING to do with the gameplay, optimisation or graphics. Because honestly? The game feels INCREDIBLE. The new additions are ridiculous in the best way possible. You can literally slam your opponents onto thumbtacks in a ring surrounded by fire. It's genuinely fun. But the monetisation completely kills it. You're paying full Triple A price, around $80, and still being treated like you're playing a free-to-play game. Half the…

One of the most baffling decisions in WWE 2K26 is the introduction of a battle pass system in a full-priced wrestling game. This is a title that already asks players to pay premium prices for its higher editions. In my case, I purchased the most expensive edition of the game, specifically to ensure I had access to all of my favorite superstars icons like Triple H and The Rock without worrying about missing content. I cannot recommend this game as long as they continue to aggressively pursue mobile game monetization strategies in a game that you already pay full price for. Edit: they have continued to dig to new lows. Before you buy the game, I feel like I should warn you. Ringside Pass is a much worse system than the old DLC model. It feels more like a battle pass from mobile games. You can’t just press a button and unlock everything anymore. The choice now is simple: either grind a lot or pay extra. The new stamina system has also made MyF even harder. I don’t know if that’s a plus or minus for you, but for me it’s definitely a negative. MyRise this year is honestly terrible. Truly awful. You watch a…

Ringside pass is bogus. Increased the price of the highest edition, removed the accelerator and then makes you grind out ringside passes to get access to the DLC you paid for. You also cant earn xp for those passes if a match is modified in anyway. Cant change stipulations. You cant even earn xp if you play a rivalry match in universe mode. Terrible decision on 2k's part

WWE 2K26: The $150 "Free-to-Play" Experience As a lifelong wrestling fan, writing this review is painful. After years of incremental steps, WWE 2K26 has finally perfected the in-ring product. The gameplay is fluid, the new match types (Junkyard, Inferno, I Quit) are brilliant, and the CM Punk Showcase is a love letter to fans. I don't care how good the game is. Forcing players to not be able to play a game they spent $70-$150 on unless they go through your broken 2K website to activate an account is awful. This is a yearly release. When the next game comes out this game then becomes dead in the water if that stupid site isn't supported. Whoever made this logic shouldn't be in the gaming industry, get them the hell out ASAP.

Honest opinion, there's some really good additions to gameplay this year, but between the charging for a ringside pass and then making you unlock everything, nerfing the xp earned day one making it even more difficult to progress through said pass, the overwhelming amount of microtransactions between myfaction and the island and the big flaw of making the entire game online (yes, you must be online to do anything other than play now) This is just a big step back in the series. WWE 2K26 is going the way of the NBA 2K series. Not only have they become insanely predatory with microtransactions, but the game pace is slowing and is becoming sluggish. Trying to limit a player's ability to move around or counter moves has been a thing for several games now, but in every release before this one there was a way to turn that off. Not this year. Everything is a slow, sluggish, miserable slog that doesn't feel natural or fluid. Don't buy this game. It ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.

This is easily the greediest WWE 2K game I’ve ever seen. The series is still plagued with bugs that have existed since WWE 2K20. And the online servers? They’ve been a mess for over two decades. But at this point, it is getting harder and harder to pretend that 2K is making these games for wrestling fans, rather than making them as another yearly machine designed to squeeze money out of people. A Greedy Cash Grab That Insults the Fans: I have been a loyal fan of this franchise from the beginning PS1 age, but WWE 2K26 is the breaking point. What used to be a celebration of wrestling has been hollowed out and replaced by a storefront designed to exploit its players. Why this game is a disaster: The New Pass System: Locking core progression and iconic content behind a paid pass in a full-priced AAA game is predatory and inexcusable. Aggressive Monetization: The game feels less like a…

The Gameplay itself is fire however the preditory monetization does not match a $70 game triple AAA game but instead that of free to play Gatcha game on your phone, FIX THE MONETIZATION OR MAKE THE GAME FREE TO PLAY.

This games aggressive monetization is terrible. I put hundreds of hours into these games every year but this year I refuse. The game is not worth the cost.

Removing stuff from the game to make you pay for it, a battlepass that shouldn't be there which is for the DLC that you PAID FOR. removing CAS pieces just because. stick with 2k25, 2k are a bunch of greedy ♥♥♥♥♥

An excellent wrestling game… sabotaged by microtransactions A strong foundation in the ring From a gameplay perspective, WWE 2K26 is probably one of the best wrestling games 2K has released in several years. The new physics make matches feel more dynamic and unpredictable. Throws feel more natural, collisions have more impact, and interactions with objects make matches much more spectacular. Hardcore matches are particularly successful. The use of thumbtacks in certain matches creates…

Its practically the same game as last year. The update so minimal that it really doesn't matter. A lot of content locked behind a paywall too though, I didn't delve into that. If you really want the game. Just wait until there's a sale. The game is not worth the $70 price tag.

As someone who plays the game for MyGM and Universe Mode, I have to say that I just cannot recommend anyone else grab this game at full price. Every year as the new game comes around I go in unsure if I want to get it or not, but in spite of the hours I have on this game, I don't think I've ever regretted grabbing one as much as this one instead of waiting for it to go 50% off, or just not getting it at all. The hours I have this year have mainly been dedicated towards unlocking content in…

If you're buying this to simulate matches don't bother. The AI spams the same few carry moves over and over despite changing settings to prevent it. The camera will sometimes randomly follow someone up the ramp to the stage after elimination and just sit there unless you manually take control of it. Community creations menu is back to loading extremely slow and will make you start over on page 1 if you look up a creator. This game has so many steps in the wrong direction. They seem to fix…

This game it actually terrible Let's start with the specs requirement, it requires double the requirements from the last game and what changed graphics or processing wise??? NOTHING, we have slightly different lighting WOW THANK GOD. Next the Ringside pass, I paid over $100 getting the most expensive version because I love playing Universe Mode and just starting that immediately. I HAD TO GRIND FOR 6 HOURS AND I STILL DONT HAVE A UNIVERSE MODE I LIKE. This is because I am still missing so…

If I didn't buy this from a Key, I would have refunded it. Exclusively bought this to port characters to the Console that I play when Im hanging out with friends, however they silently removed this feature this game, despite it being present in the previous edition. Also: Seriously, a battlepass? The game is already worth $70, it's just a rehash of the previous game with a few tiny adjustments, and you want me to buy a battlepass? The whole point of a battlepass is for long-term…

After MULTIPLE patches and month after month of failing to address issues with AI and Multiplayer, I am revising my review, but once more must keep it to a negative score. As a long time fan of this series, having owned most of the games in the series as well as the accompanying DLC, i can tell you that this has turned into the single worst experience with any of the WWE 2K games. The first few weeks of the game were fine. Things played out as normal. Then there was an update to the reversal…

WWE 2K26 is a masterclass in corporate greed, effectively burying a solid wrestling simulator under the most predatory monetization system the franchise has ever seen. By replacing traditional DLC with the "Ringside Pass," 2K has transformed a premium $70–$150 experience into a grueling second job, locking beloved Legends and basic arenas behind a 40-tier battle pass that moves at a glacial pace unless you shell out even more cash for "Tier Skips." This aggressive nickel-and-diming is made even…

Possible the worst WWE 2K game yet. I love these games and have purchased them all, but after this one, I will not be buying next years. The absolute insane, near impossible, if not impossible difficulty of the MyFaction mode this year has proved the developers have little to no idea what they are doing and/or have immense disdain for their players. Every single aspect of that game mode has been created to punish players. It's not fun to play and the developers don't deserve to be rewarded…

Another year...Another broken launch. both early access and full release has been awful. what's the point in early access if the game barely functions in the first place. We paid like a £60+(I'm UK) and above for early access. instead of fixing it. you have devs that just love to talk smack about the player base "exploiting" the speed in XP. which we paid to have fun! We went through the same problems in 2k25 and they were fixed months later. will it be the same for this year's game? MOST…
