Players say the game is exactly what it advertises: a collection of mini-games based on misleading mobile ads. [1][2][3] Many find it fun for a short time but get bored quickly due to repetitive content. [4][5][6] Some reviewers feel the execution is poor, with clunky controls and slow animations. [7][8][9]

Yeaaa maybe it would be better if those games didn't exist after all. However I think the main issue here is the execution, the games themselves could still be decently fun if made well. However they are not. The animations are way too slow, especially with how short some of the levels can be, the level design leaves a lot to be desired and the controls are awful and unresponsive (on the car park levels are by far …

Concept was good but It got boring fast, If I could give a mixed review instead of negative I would.

I bought this on a whim during a sale. While I was using my laptop to play a movie for my students, they saw I had Steam and asked what games I had. Upon seeing the comically large title and hearing the premise, they wanted to try it. It was before a break on a half day, so why not? Luckily it worked on the touchscreen board in my classroom. Y'all, it kept my 6th graders so occupied. They took turns, gave advice, …

The game itself is very mediocre. I would go as far as to say below-average quality. But, of course, it's exactly as advertised. You get what you pay for. I was curious, and it was good fun for a brief bit, but don't expect to get many hours out of this.

6/10 - I'm happy that this exist, but it is not very good unfortunately. I wish Steam had something between "Recommend" and "Not recommend", as this is how I feel about this game. This is a compilation of five of those mobile game ads but actually implemented as fully playable games. Artistically speaking I am happy that this sort of thing exists, as scratches that itch, but it also exposes the fact that the games …

Critics, per Wikipedia
The AV Club lauded the "Pull the Pin" minigame, but stated that, although Those Games is initially "a genuine kick", ultimately the ideas of the other minigames are "just not robust enough" to merit a full game.

NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM! 1+2 (Switch / PS5) physical releases are up for pre-order on Amazon: bit.ly/4meqvQP These are kind of hilarious -- they took all those very obviously fake game ads and turned them into real games lmao
positive · AI labelView post →The game kinda just shows that "THOSE GAMES" were never really fun in the first place. This game would be worth it if it were 2-3$. Not really the games fault. It's advertised really honestly.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES", RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM! ($6.99) - are you sick of mobile game ads that don't actually play like the ad promises? do you WANT to pull the pins to save the princess from orcs? here ya go, bud. store.steampowered.com/app/2348100/...
neutral · AI labelView post →It sure is those games! The problem is the game puts in an unfun timer-star mechanic for every single game, so you can't even look at the puzzle for a second without losing stars. Makes me just not want to play it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM! neutral · AI labelView post →fun concept but not enough content by far to justify the price
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know "those games" are a thing for other people, but if you're an older ♥♥♥♥♥♥ like myself who detests crap mobile games, think of this as more like those crappy puzzlers on sites that rhymes with Dongregate, back in heyday of Flash. I loved those puzzlers, you could eat one up in a few hours, brush off the figurative crumbs, and be done with it. This is like that, except not free. Buy it at a price that says "cheap" to you, whatever price that might be, and you're set. Just, oi, the UI…

neutral · AI labelView post →I mostly bought it out of principle. I thought the idea was funny to make all those crappy mobile game ads into actual games, but it ended up not being really ALL THAT fun. Pin Pull was probably my least favorite, the math towers ended up being not very fun either, mostly due to waiting for all the animations. Moving the cars and pouring the chemistry vials were probably the best ones. Overall, it's fine. I would definitely wait for a sale though. I'm a serial completionist so I am…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the concept, but the execution makes this game really annoying. -The UI is pretty bad. Cursor icons continually pop up on screen, and in most games that would indicate a tutorial prompt. On several occasions, I followed the cursor thinking it was a tutorial, only to fail the level. It turned out it's actually for keyboard input to show which part of the level you're interacting with. - The clicking and dragging response for the car levels is way too precise to consistently work and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly this is just a rip off, wouldn't pay more than a dollar for this. It's literally those mobile ad games BUT: - Only 5 games (gets old really quick, with no twist) - No quality of life - Slow screens - Annoying sounds - Looks like it was made in 2 days
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A compilation of mobile-ads games. It's a fun way to kill a few hours. And some of the mini games will provide a decent challenge. Would definitely recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After 100%'ing the game, the only thing ive learned is that if these games were a thing i probably would have broken many phones.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i always get so mad when i see those stupid mobile game ads that are nothing like the game. thank you fot calming my brain with this :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The games themselves are quite entertaining, something mindless to play for 5-10 minutes per day. But for the asking price of €9,99? Its not worth it. I guess that pricetag comes from the publisher being a subsidiary of Bandai Namco which is... Quite odd? As you'd think this is something from a small indie studio considering the games in it are based off of chinese scam adds that advertise a game only to lead you to a candycrush clone. Anyone's pretty much free to take those games in the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Something is lost when you just use stick figures instead of CG abominations squirting fluids on each other.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea but terrible execution. There are some fun games but no matter the game there is just so much downtime between levels. Very short levels but every level has longer downtime between menus than the time you spent on the levels itself. The sound is so bad between the menus that I found myself muting my speakers between missions so I don't hear those terrible congratulations sound effects. The sequel has the exact same problems by the way don't purchase that one thinking maybe they fixed…

neutral · AI labelView post →The game is using designs clearly made with touchscreen in mind, but the control scheme is obviously optimized for controller and playing it with mouse is terrible.

neutral · AI labelView post →This game is exactly what you expect it to be. The levels are all based from thos misleading ad games and overall the game okay But it gets quite boring after a while
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM!" is exactly what you'd expect. This collection of mini-games is a parody of the well-known "trash ads" you'd often see when playing mobile games. Though these "games" were originally designed for the smartphone, the PC adaptation is pretty decent and the frustrating controls suit this game perfectly. The price is a little over the top, but you get some pretty challenging and surprisingly fun content. I'm…

neutral · AI labelView post →It is exactly what it says on the tin; kinda jank at parts, but that's kinda the whole aesthetic I feel. Only notable complaint is the 1M Coin achievement which is a massive daily grind (completing every level didn't even get me 250K Coins).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting idea but there's too much bogging it down. Strict time limits and a clunky interface - including scoring screens that take up too much time and break up the gameflow.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's funny how the katamari team grew frustrated over not getting to play them so they made them and titled it : YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM!
neutral · AI labelView post →the minigames are fun but for this price it just doesnt feel good enough, the controls feel really janky and slow
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this for seven dollars and I think that's the upper limit for what this game is worth. The puzzles are pretty simple but the controls can actually take some getting used to; they can be a bit finicky and it'll mess you up before you get a hang on them. I got nothing real bad to say about it - it's exactly what it advertises. This game definitely should have a workshop so people can upload their own insane crazy wacky mobile ad game terrible gameplay custom levels for others to enjoy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM! neutral · AI labelView post →This game makes more sense as a product of it's time. Nowadays however, there are hundreds of free renditions of the games in here done with less baffling decisions, more value, or neither because the game wasn't a good idea in the first place. It doesn't control the best in places. Some levels get left up to luck, sometimes intentionally and others due to physics jank. There are mobile-game-isms that weren't necessary like pointless stars, daily rewards and useless coins, and they all…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun at first, but it gets clunky to play on PC, especially with the really strict time limits for 3 stars. It also gets boring after a while with only 5 games. Bought it on sale and it still felt like too much money lmao

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic idea, unfun game Is it extremely funny that this game got made? Yes. Is it enjoyable to play? No. (Also, I am personally disappointed that the best way the devs could figure out how to turn those fake ad games into actual challenges was adding a timer.)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As an overall package, this game is really fun. But there are a few design choices in some of the stages (specifically the parking and money ones) which really bring down the whole experience and soured me on it. Wouldn't recommend it as-is, which is a shame because it's pretty close to being a great little minigame compilation with a fun theme.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game for scratching the mobile game itch, but one of the optional challenges (Same Numbers 3) is literally mathematically impossible due to the game's code truncating decimals, so don't be going into this looking to 100%. Other than that, would definitely recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game’s called YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM! which is just about perfect
