Absolute waste of money and time. Worst run and gun. There's literally 10 different enemies in the game that repeat. Unfair situations test your patience. I beat Contra without the code. This has purposeful traps, bad music and again repeat enemies from first level to last. Do NOT buy!

Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders is a fantastic run and gun game that is clearly inspired by Contra. Everything from the character movements to the stage design and weapon swapping feels like a tribute to Konami’s classic series. The visuals and music are excellent, the action is fast and chaotic, and the game was enjoyable from start to finish. I would definitely recommend to fans of Contra, and it's almost as …

Picked this game up after playing the demo from an Indie event. It's not a bad game from a small Brazillian (I think) team. PROS: + Contra style of play is pretty responsive + Art Style is nice + Music is solid CONS: - Some of the platforming parts are a bit wonky/unresponsive - ladder movement is a bit stiff especially when shooting. - Enemy placement (especially in later stages) seem a bit unfair/Trap like - Some …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly not for me. First I have to say I do appreciate proper resolution support, and full control remapping and sound levels. However the game for me was just not fun to play, and as I have stated previously, this genre is my favourite. The ducking is strange with a delay which means you can't duck doge with split second accuracy. I am not seeing the point of the slide when it is just cosmetic, when on ground only, to slide through certain scenerey elements rather than have it as an integral…

With a bunch of Alien blasting stages and several weapons to choose from like lasers, spread shots, grenades, there are some pretty good options. Getting 2 of any weapon powers it up and as you fight you fill up a special bar to do big damage. Getting hit once will take away the weapon you have equipped but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders delivers a fast and deliberately old-school run-and-gun experience built around constant movement, heavy firepower, and increasingly chaotic encounters with alien forces. Developed by Combo Game Studio and published by Nuntius Games and Vsoo Games, it takes clear inspiration from classic arcade shooters without burying the action beneath complicated progression systems. Its strongest quality is immediacy. Within moments, the player is running through hostile…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It carries the flavor of old childhood memories while showing the potential to become even more. Combo Game Studio lays its cards on the table with Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders, a game that certainly faced some issues at launch, but whose developers are actively listening to community feedback and working to improve the experience. Whether through its iconic voice acting in its country of origin — which comes as a wonderful surprise for Brazilian fans — or through its strong…

neutral · AI labelView post →Its ok. The problem I have here is the game isn't bad...but I can think of other Contra clones that are around the same price that do it better. I can even think of one off the top of my head that is 1/2 the price that does it better. Also It seems some shots just travel through enemies. But it is enjoyable. I got it in a pack of a bunch of Nuntias games for $8. I kept 4....so $2 for this isn't bad. Its decent...but prepare to not be fully impressed and you will do just fine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a lot of fun and 3 players is more than contra/metal slug it is inspired by. It is cool to have super moves and 2 weapons to alternate between, in addition to easy mode. The demo is easily worth a try if you're on th fence.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game #8: Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders (plus another extra: The Amazing American Circus) okay Alien Strike has been out since May 7th 2026 so i will be playing it (Played the demo before) and I have no idea what The Amazing American Circus is lol
neutral · AI labelView post →This game will definitely delight anyone who enjoys these types of games like Contra or Metal Slug. I personally was never one to play these games, BUT this one ENCHANTED me so much! I didn't expect how much fun I would have playing it, I had the feeling of playing these old games for the first time but with modern controls and art! The game can be difficult if you're not used to it, but nothing is impossible after a few deaths. Many times I died during the levels and I couldn't stop playing,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Nice character models and animation. I also like the music. Definitely worth buying.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders (Demo) (2025): 2/5 In concept, this seems like it would be a good game. Metal Slug in a coat of 80's cheese. Unfortunately, this feels more like a rough prototype than a demo. (Played Feb. 24th)
negative · AI labelView post →https://youtu.be/SWqjgl23vjc Lacking weight and punch to weapons creates an underwhelming setup where all the characters act as if they are phoning it in.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just came from playing Super Cyborg and this contra run and gun like game is not that good. The controls feel a bit floaty and some of the sound effects are annoying like Ice gun level 1 , but eventually especially with later levels, the game just gets annoying. Bosses have almost none to no tells about their abilities and there's no way to dodge some if they just spawn on top of you as well as enemies. It's not so much about skill but pure luck at points with how the enemies can just spawn…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I usually like games like this. Child of the 90s and all that, so 2D platformers are something I've grown up with. But man, this is just astounding boring. It's very rare I toss my hands up in such a short amount of time, but I just don't have the patience for the fun to kick in somewhere after level 3. Combat is, for lack of better words, boring. Anyone remember Aliens: Colonial Marines? That part where you just keep moving forward and avoid the blind xenomorph? That's what I thought of…
