positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As of December 4, 2016, the online services portion of Batman: Arkham Origins has been retired with no way of unlocking the achievements meaning there is no way to 100% the game legitimately. Please remove the multiplayer achievements since they are no longer unlockable! It's impossible to 100% the game legitimately. Ubisoft removed the multiplayer achievements from Far Cry 3 when they shut down the multiplayer. If we can't play the multiplayer anymore we should still be allowed to fully…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is basically a Christmas game, much like how Die Hard is a Christmas movie
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Arkham Origins is a very atmospheric game. In fact, it's probably one of the best in the series when it comes to mood and setting. The Christmas theme, the soundtrack, the dialogue, and the overall tone make this entry stand out. It does a great job of portraying an authentic Gotham...quiet and snow-covered, yet crawling with scum and villainy. The story, however, is just fine. It's not terrible, but it's far from impressive. There was a lot of potential with the villains, yet most of it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’m currently on a mission to play all the Batman games in chronological order, including the DLCs. So far, this one has the most badass version of Batman (I haven’t played Arkham Knight yet). He feels much angrier here, more aggressive and brutal than in Arkham Asylum or Arkham City. The story is good, the boss fights were great, and the gameplay is solid. It has aged very well. Full Game Walktrough: https://youtu.be/iOO_h0pRsxA

This is the first game I have played on steam, it bring to me great gaming experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game worked almost perfectly (just a few bugs) until the part with The Joker in the hotel. Then it started glitching, and in the end the only save file got corrupted. Loading it, I got Batman stuck in a fog or some clouds, unable to go anywhere. Every time. That was all that was on the screen. Continuing the game then was literally impossible. So playing this in 2026 is still a gamble. It’s also a lesson to developers: Don’t give your players just one (auto)save file. Being able to save…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Batman: Arkham Origins was a great introduction to the Arkham series, and honestly, it did a lot of things right. I enjoyed seeing a younger, less experienced Batman who is still figuring out what it means to become the Dark Knight. Throughout the story, you can see him slowly develop into the legendary hero we know from the later games. It's a great origin story and a solid starting point for the series. The combat is excellent and remains one of my favorite parts of the game. Beating up…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game but it won't work on modern PC systems, you will experience sound stutters, D311 issues (which can be solved by turning it off and setting it to 10), sound randomly disappears in-game with the exception of some sounds such as opening doors and my first fight with croc turned my screen black randomly mid-game. and this is on my 5080, 98 gigs ram, best motherboard on the market etc. WB is just too lazy to update this game for modern hardware to function properly. alot of old games on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By far the most underrated Batman Arkham game, the combat is good although it may seem a little different, boss fights are unique and some of them hard to pass from a first try, it really shows that Batman is a beginner here, and not all that experienced, more angry and brutal, Roger Craig Smith did a spectacular job by voicing him. Gameplay mechanics are simple, similar to the other games. Even though some bugs might still be faced they are rare and I haven't experienced any game breaking…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hot take incoming, this game has my favourite story in the series thus far, granted this may be due to my bias of early year Batman stories but I love character driven plots and more than the others so far, this one really gives Batman time to shine and grow in this game. Granted this game is very unpolished, I didn't have most of the issues that a lot of people had with the PC port of this game but I was playing with the Community Patch so that's likely why. The game was really fun, had some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished it today. WOW! This game was way better than I thought. Much better that the time I played Arkham City. Everything was a major upgrade, especially the skills, story, and the totality of the gameplay. I love all of it. This game is definitely worth playing right after Arkham City and on Hard Mode too. Don't miss out on this one and play this before Arkham Knight!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beware, this game has game breaking bugs: one which didn’t allow me to continue playing was a bugged save in the firefly mission, where the objective was to disable the third bomb, but I had already disabled the bomb and so I was blocked. I tried different options, and looked online: It seems other players had the same issue, and nothing seemed to work for me to unblock the game. The game doesn’t allow different save points, which could have been an easy workaround solution. There were also…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Many thanks to whomever created the mod to allow MP achievements. I held off on this for a long time, despite loving the previous three games, because I thought the XP progression in the game was completely broken and that the only way to get the leveling achievements was to basically cheat it. While sadly that is in fact possible, it is also possible to boost them with others with the mod. It does in fact work, it's just that once it gets close to the threshold for the achievements the mod can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The unsung hero of the Arkham games- widely unappreciated, misunderstood and the black sheep of the franchise. The early take of an angsty Bruce, partnered with excellent replacement VA's was refreshing for me. Parts that stood out to me were the detective missions and being able to approach the questline in a nonlinear fashion. Boss Fights are the best In series. The ick was Gotham being unpopulated, barren and kind of ugly to look at in comparison to Rocksteady's Rendition.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Batman: Arkham Origins One of the most underrated Arkham games. It shows a younger, more aggressive Batman and focuses on a darker, grounded story. The boss fights are challenging, the atmosphere is strong, and the game offers solid fun that many players overlook. Rating: 8.7/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I never really got the hate behind this game. Yes, it's not the sequel to City everyone wanted and plays almost exactly the same as City, even reusing the same hub world but this is still a pretty damn good game by all accounts. That multiplayer too maybe be an unbalanced mess and was shut down too quickly but it's also criminaly slepted on, not to mention how it's actually really fun once you get around all the junkiness.

neutral · AI labelView post →I can see why a lot of people hated it when it was released, but I think it is the most overrated Batman game I have ever played. The gameplay is the same as in the other Arkham games, but one thing that really feels off about this game is that it feels unfinished. The game has a lot more glitches and bugs than Asylum and City. Sometimes Batman goes AFK in the middle of a fight or just misses a combo by attacking right next to an enemy. And with stealth, I don't know why, but enemies…

neutral · AI labelView post →The oft-forgotten child of the Arkham universe holds a strange position when playing the series fifteen years later. It's certainly lesser than any of the Rocksteady games, but it's also still ~mostly~ good. It's a prequel, but by being yet another Joker story it dilutes the arc of Asylum and City. I understand what they were going for by recasting Batman and Joker's voice actors (more likely WB wanted to only pay them for Knight) and they do a great job here, but not having Kevin Conroy is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was the one Arkham game I never played. It was fun. It was the buggiest out of the whole series. Took me years to finally finish it. The boss fights were cool. The bat suits were lacking though. I'd say give this one a chance.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is just as great as all the other Batman Arkham games in my opinion. It takes place long before the events of Arkham Asylum, early in Batman's career. It expands upon gameplay features laid down by Arkham Asylum and Arkham City meaning that the gameplay is just as fun and addictive as the other Batman games. The extra Bat suits and DLC are a welcomed addition to this already replayable game. Not to mention it has a fantastic story. I have played Arkham Origins nearly every year since…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Batman: Arkham Origins is seriously underrated and doesn’t get the credit it deserves. While it often gets overshadowed by the other Arkham games, it absolutely holds its own and delivers a really solid Batman experience. I actually played this back when it first released on PS3, and coming back to it now on PC really made me appreciate it even more. It feels like a completely different experience — smoother, sharper, and way more immersive than I remember. The story is one of its strongest…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so underrated. For a long time, I’ve heard this is the worse Arkham game in the series, but I had a blast playing it! The DLC was pretty fun too! Personally, I don’t think this game deserved the hate it got. I’m not saying this game is the best out of the series, nor am I saying the game is a masterpiece or anything groundbreaking, but if you’re looking for a fun, high-action Batman game. This is not a bad choice.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite being the weakest game in the mainline Arkham series (being developed on a rushed timeline; and not being from Rocksteady) this game is still very fun. And if this game is on sale, pick it up. The story is serious enough to be invested in, yet campy enough for batman. Although that cannot be said for the entire story. The music fit the holiday X batman vibes well, with crunchy soundFX to boot. And for being a PS3/360 gen game, the graphics (mostly) hold up well. Easy to use menus…

neutral · AI labelView post →I don't usually leave reviews for games. But this game hit me different. To be honest, Batman Arkham Origins gotta be one of the most underrated Batman games of all time. When it comes to ranking the Batman Arkham games, people usually put this game at the bottom of their list. But for me, this game would be no. 1 with no doubt at all. This game can easily compete with Arkham Knight and Arkham City in terms of story, battles, and gameplay. Its only downside would be its graphics and its vibe…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shame this game isn't given the same light as the rest of the Arkham games, it has some of the best boss fights in gaming!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GOATED GAME, honestly, I prefer the campaign in this game over Arkham City, and the map in this game, although empty at times, is amazing. The theme of an origin story on Christmas Eve is great, and the character design for each villain involved is amazing. The boss fights are definitely the strongest part of this game, and the suit design is the best one out of all the Arkham games!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →is it worse than the other arkham games? yes. but is it a bad game? absolutely not. infact batman is sexy enough for this game to be an 8/10 at the very least
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Batman: Arkham Origins is my favorite Arkham game. The boss fights are the best part of the experience, with Deathstroke being my favorite boss fight in the entire series. I also love how Batman slowly starts trusting others and building allies, starting with Barbara, Alfred and Gordon. Watching him grow from a lone vigilante into a hero who learns to rely on people is one of my favorite parts of the story. I love all four Arkham games, but Origins will always be my favorite.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Best Boss Fights In The Entire Series Batman: Arkham Origins is a good game from different developers that expands the story of the Arkham universe. The most interesting part of the game is the characters. The game's events take place about 8 years before Arkham Asylum. Consequently, Bruce Wayne is very young here, only in his second year as Batman. The game's plot deals with his first confrontation with villains and essentially his first public appearance, as until then he was considered…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only reason I'm playing this game so late is because I was scared of Bane. There were definitely some bugs and some choices made but overall it was quite fun. Felt like batman. 7.5/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Combat is complete dog shit
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Arkham Origins is a good game, but compared to the other Arkham games (except Asylum), it definitely feels a step behind. I also didn’t really like how the story once again revolves so heavily around the Joker. I would’ve preferred to see more focus on Black Mask. That being said, the combat is still great and the pacing feels pretty solid. It’s definitely not a bad game, but it just doesn’t have the same impact as Arkham City or Arkham Knight for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Batman: Arkham Origins isn't as polished as the other Arkham games, but it's still a fun Batman game. The story is good, the combat is as enjoyable as ever, and the snowy Gotham atmosphere gives the city a unique feel, even if the open world itself feels underused. Bruce and Alfred's interactions are a highlight, and most of the boss fights are fun, with a few ranking among the best in the series. One of the game's weakest aspects is its progression system. Many upgrades are locked behind…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty fun and good game with good fights, but really buggy at times
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has so many technical hiccups its actually insane. It has crashed in so many different ways/scenarios, that I am actually starting to lose my mind. Ive never had any of these problems with the other arkham games and it really saddens me give this one a thumbs down because the game itself is actually pretty good. I might try to power through this one, but I cannot recommend the game simply because of all the technical issues.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Experience the origins of the Batman from the Arkham games! Without spoiling the story, I'll say it's very engaging just like the other arkham games! The combat system is just as fantastic as it ever was! The gadgets truly make you feel like Batman! Explore areas of Gotham just like the Dark Knight! Loads of Unlockable and side quests to do, truly great stuff! 10/10 game for a 10/10 super hero! Definitely worth playing! Batman Arkham games ranked from best to worst: (All 10/10…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely underrated, doesn't deserve the hate it gets as "different" from the other three Arkhams.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great action, good story, amazing Xmas vibes, cool Batman. Insanely underrated.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid entry in the Arkham series. The combat and traversal feel just as satisfying as the Rocksteady games and the early‑career Batman angle is genuinely fun. The boss fights are a highlight, even if the story doesn’t quite hit the same beats as Asylum or City. It’s a bit rough around the edges and you can feel the “prequel filler” moments, but overall it’s a great excuse to punch criminals in the snow as the Bat. [8/10]
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Batman is portrayed in Arkham games as an unstoppable force. In Origins, on the other hand, Bruce Wayne learns how to be Batman. The Boss Fights: Without a doubt the greatest in the whole series. The fight with Deathstroke is a masterpiece of film. The GCPD is pursuing you, in contrast to the other games. It greatly increases the sense of danger and hostility in the open world. Bane: The only game that respects Bane is this one. Here, he's not just a mindless brute; he's terrifying and a…
