I have two main issues with this title. First that the game feels unpolished. Second that it does not have any actual gameplay. You make no decisions. The game tells you what to do and then you do it. There are no mechanics or rewards for doing anything other than what the game tells you to do next. An example: Reduce the pollution in a region. There is exactly one mechanic to do that. You place purifiers on bodies …

Very chill game. I played the demo first and have been pumped for it since. This is NOT a hardcore management sim, and that's okay, it doesn't pretend to be! I do wish there was a bit more tied to the messages you get throughout the game, because some feel a bit random and unnecessary. But overall, I enjoyed the process of cleaning up, putting down the animals, and micromanaging the conditions in each dome to have …

This is a casual game. If you are looking for complex decisions or mechanics, this is not your game. I played it primarily while watching television, and really enjoyed it. In my opinion it has little replayability. I played the tutorial and the first "campaign", the second campaign seen like a reskinned version of the exact same thing. Really enjoying this game so far. It has a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with a nice sense of progression. I like how exploration, building and resource gathering are balanced with the biomes shaping part, and seeing how the world changes as you remove pollution, making polluted and lifeless environments gradually become healthier and vibrant feels rewarding. Three months ago I played the demo. And for a demo I had a lot of fun. It felt unpolished and the gameplay loop felt clunky but I figured it had good bones. For all intents and purposes I did 100% of everything the demo had to offer, from purifying the surface to getting the handful of species they had to maximum comfort. I played an hour of the full release and the most I could say was different was the length of the tutorial, which was pretty much a cut down version of the demo. Some of the…

Tragically, I think that the game misses the mark on what's really fun - building little ecosystems - in order to punish you in overworld puzzles that you can't win. I prepurchased this game because I really liked the demo for this game and am excited to see where it goes from here, however, I think there are a few key issues that need to be addressed before I can recommend it. 1. The game punishes you for playing it effectively (or at all) and the detriment vs. gain of structures is…

I was really excited for this game after playing the demo, and it is certainly very cute, at least, and I do like it. I sadly cannot recommend it right now, however. Having finished three guild quests and started a third, I got a good feel of the game so far, I think. The two quests I played are repetive to the point of absurdity - the main difference was that Blue robot liked to chat about technology while green robot liked to chat about nature. Both have a storyline about the other…

In short, you don't own this game, and they're collecting a lot of your data. Spend your money somewhere else. BioEden may be a perfectly fine game but after analyzing the EULA this is a 'lisence' not a copy. So displte you the user paying a purchasing price, they can revoke at anytime, thus you don't actually -own- this game. Let's be clear, I understand that buying a copy of the game does not mean you own Intellectual property of the game, what I expect is if I buy a game I want to own…

A few hours into this game - I didnt play the demo but feel like I could have gotten the same game experience out of it. I played on the Steam Deck at first and the controllers were not very good/half not working. Seems to run well on PC. This is a cute, cozy, sim that is visually pretty although its very repetitive. Build dome - set up habitat and plants - rinse, repeat. Not sure if there is much more to it, but seems to be the same thing over and over. Probably could have had a lot more…

Truth be told, I really want to like this game as the concept of a resource management game where you balance progress and impact whilst restoring biospheres is a great one and the demo, whilst limited, showed great promise. Unfortunately the execution has not delivered. The punishment/crisis element of the game can largely be ignored until you get to near 100%, making it largely redundant to account for and more a task of tedium to clear the map, the mission progression is pretty generic for…

While it is cozy and easy to zone out on, there isn't any freedom really. Everything is predetermined basically. There's no reason to really replay it with a new save. As it is, it's not worth the price it's listed for honestly. I had a lot of hope for this game, but I feel pretty disappointed. Great concept, bad execution.

Game was fun for the first 2 hours, but later on becomes slow and repetitive. I was expecting some more depth into the terraforming mechanic, but only have the option of clearing up resource pockets as well as cleaning up rivers and lakes. I think this game needs a lot more content and mechanic before it could be worth the price.

First, I'll address the majority of the complaints about the game. Yes, it is very simple. Not a ton of strategy or decision making will be found here. On that note, however, the game is listed as "casual" so this complaint only comes from individuals who have little to no grasp of the English language. The gameplay loop is fairly easy, there is no punishment for having to step away or do something else while waiting for miners or purifiers to do their thing. I'd personally recommend it along…

I love challenging management games, but I also like chill. This game has both. Youre not constantly trying to figure out what fire to put out next but you cant just go building like crazy and spending resources without care. Cute, mindless, something to putter around with while contemplating nothing. The demo was entertaining enough that I decided to buy the game. Played through the tutorial and first two factions, then hit a brick wall where an intrinsic game mechanic failed to register correctly and completely locked campaign progression. All other win conditions were met, nothing moved forward. I've decided to put no further time into this.

I bought this game after reading the mixed reviews and I honestly believe most of the people who have problems with the game are just rushing to fast. A key point of this game is gradual expantion in order to balance resources with your environmental impacts. I havn't played any games like this with such an emphasis on the environmental impacts of your actions. Its a great calm game to play in your free time. Can't wait to see any future updates!

As much as i want to recommend this game, i can't. I loved the demo and was so excited for the rull release, thinking there would be a lot more content. Turns out, it does not. The Animals / Domes makes no diffrence? You have to clean up the planet and the only way to do that is to clean the water and remove waste. There is nothing else to do and no decision making in the game. It tells you want to do, went to do it and how.

Currently I wouldn't recommend. I played the demo which was lacking in content and mechanics but the feel was nice so I had some hopes for the full release. Alas, the current release barely feels like an evolution from the demo. There is no significant additional mechanics. I hope more gameplay will be added to make this worth a purchase.

There are several species, with original designs to unlock, and it is an interesting on how to optimize the biome to keep "happy" every creatures. This is a very fun resource management and restoration game that i would highly reccomend. However there are many systems in the game which feel unfishined or very shallow. The 5 guilds have exact same gameplay loops with no real unique changes to the way you interact with the world. I don't write reviews often, but based on a lot of the bad ones I felt the need to. I think this game is great. Yes, it is basically like the demo, I spent a little over 3 hours on that and replayed it twice I believe. It's not a super demanding, watch everything nonstop, but it's very enjoyable for me. I have only replayed the tutorial, and just started the first actual mission and already have over 2 hours in. I am not trying to speed through everything, just take it in and enjoy. I think…

I love this game.. It's repetitive and casual easy. Yes it's simple and that's exactly why i like, it scratches some simple repetitive itch. My tism is very happy with this game and i forget the time playing it.

A very enjoyable non-stressful eco restoration game, much as advertised. I had played several hours of the demo before deciding I wanted to buy, and do not regret my decision. The first real (non tutorial) playthrough took me about 8 hours and could probably have gone quicker but I wanted to get all zones down to 0% pollution. I've only achieved about 50% of the possible achievements and may strive for 100%. I had a good time with this one!

The price is a little steep- but the graphics, storyline, and pacing of the game make it worth the investment. I have no issue spending money on something that clearly the developers have put a lot of love and effort behind. I'm excited to see where else they will take it- and again I'm impressed by how…
